  1. That is some freakin sweet Design language.
  2. I think Colorado has something like that, but a buddy of mine in Denver nearly killed himself several times the first year after buying a Kawasaki Ninja a few years ago...he'd had previous experience w/ a 50cc bike back home in India, but the Ninja was a bit more of a handful.. My brother had several British bikes in the '60s-70s, took off about 20 years from riding after a couple bad accidents, but in the last 15 years has bought several older Yamahas and Hondas...rides the backroads of rural Ohio, seems to have a lot of fun doing it. I've never ridden a bike, but wouldn't mind trying one sometime..though I think I'd prefer a Boxster or other small open sports car. Having ridden and then given the choice of my wife and kids or my bike, I gladly gave up the bike to be around for the kids and wife. Bikes are great when your young and single, but as we age and get slower responses, I like more steel around me now.
  3. BIG BIG BIG HUMONGUS MISTAKE!!!! If they go for trying to get the Z to a wider audience then they loose the special status the car has when people see them. HELLO McFLY, Anyone Home? NOT Every car needs to appeal to a larger audience. The Z sports car is special and needs to stay special, not appeal to a larger audience. How do you think it stays to appealing to the mass when a much smaller group is all that buys. Hello Anyone home?????
  4. Here in washington state one is required to go to motorcycle school and get certified which shows up on your license before you can even take delivery of a bike. This helps to minimize morons who get a big bike and do not know how to ride.
  5. I agree, something is missing in the story. Hopefully we will find out.
  6. Sweet Site
  7. Seems that BMW is bent on bringing their Chevy Versions to America. Be interesting to see how these water down cars affect their luxury image.
  8. I think they have a fine design language, Hope they do not stray too far and get lost in the design language bogs. It will be good if they can get a true 35K car with 250 mile electric range. That will really force the big 3 to get more aggressive and change their portfolio of cars.
  9. Such a bland car to look at, this tends to tell me it would be driven by someone who always pisses off the rest of us by getting in the left hand land and driving 10 under the posted speed limit. In your description of the 5 cyl engine, you say slow and then picks up. So it sounds like the 5 cyl in the Chevy and GMC small trucks. Those engines seem to be slow till you rev them. How would you compare it to other 5 cyl engines?
  10. but can it handle a freeway cloverleaf at 70+mph? My Suburban can handle Cloverleafs at 80 with no body roll or tire squeal, course I did change out the suspension for a Kodiak 2.5 ton and with all the rest of the work to the power train, this is not your fathers suburban. I love it when my big o'l bad ass SUV can take the seattle cloverleaf on and off ramp better than a muttang or any other performance car for that matter.
  11. http://muscleamerica.blogspot.com/2009/12/2005-chevy-corvette-worst-accident.html Corvette Summer, NOT!
  12. POST PICTURES!!! We want to see the project car.
  13. Lets take the Lower 48 Tucker car and put that sexy styling into cars today. That would be kick ass. I see no reason someone could not have this style on a car now.
  14. http://www.hubgarage.com/mygarage/HOTRODTUCKER/vehicles/6842 Awesome images of the Tucker 48!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Y75YQPgEA5w Additional love of the Tucker Videos http://wn.com/Tucker_48 Enjoy!
  15. Sweet Read, Awesome job by the Philly Cops and I am glad this guy got his car back. Sucks to be the dealership who lost out, but I hope they track down who the owner was and see if he/she was the original person who had it all this time indicating they stole it or not. Would love to still see the moron who took what was not his get prosecuted.
  16. Given the lack of snow and humidity, I figure that California (and the SW USA in general) should have no issues with rust or oxidation on cars at all. It's the sun....paint oxidation is a big issue here in AZ. And clearcoat peeling. Answer to that is too just LineX the whole outside of the vehicle and then you never have to deal with paint oxidation! You also do not have to deal with door dents, rusting, etc. LineX covered SUV's rock for off trail use also. LoL... I've thought about painting the hood of my Jeep matte black....too many paint chips, cat scratches, bird poo marks, etc as it is now.. I met a guy at our Lynnwood 4 Wheel Parts store who had his whole Suburban inside and out covered in LineX and then built it up for a totally off road kick ass SUV and it looks freakin amazing. Never have to worry about anything just about. I also ran into a guy that was tired of door dings on his Volvo X90 so he LineX the whole car up to the window line. Not bad looking ether.
  17. At least the mother taught the daughter how to go american and go Hybrid! Must be nice to have a Cadillac SUV for your ride at 22. Things you should not do, BarBQue when your drunk. Made the local news, a guy drinking all day decided to cook some burgers and ended up cooking himself with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. Alcohol and cooking do not mix unless your on food network.

  19. Interesting, I have never been a van person, but I am excited to see where the vans go as I personally think they have become stale over the last 10 years.
  20. All well and good, but not enough to really get excited about yet. Clearly they are doing a good job at keeping it under wraps as you cannot really grasp the front end, I suspect the headlights and tail lights are dummy units for now and not the official thing.
  21. Nice job guys on keeping the cars so clean, I have heard that due to the harsh winters the last few years that many states on the east coast did up their salt solution for liquid spray and the amount of alternative ice breaker chemicals but are also very harsh on metal. Very scary to see something that rusted out. Did you tell the guy about the holes?
  22. CVT's are the future for cars, just not Performance or Trucks/SUV's. Eventually the CVT will be the standard for any gas powered car. Electric is a whole nother ball game.
  23. No sports cars in the world have quite the allure of the 39 Ferrari 250 GTOs built between 1962 and 1964, and their power, beauty and racing history have made them the most expensive collector vehicles on Earth. To their credit, many 250 GTO owners regularly drive them in public -- and last week, the one pictured above worth about $30 million was hit in what ranks as the world's most expensive car crash. 24. But do your joints ache????? They say that dry desert heat is good for the joints and sole!
