  1. That was a good one,
  2. If you do not mind telling me the general area you are planning to visit, I can post a list of some really yummy places to visit.
  3. Personally I suggest you wait about a year and you will have a ton more options. If you really like projects and cost is not a big issue, then go for building your own or doing it with a kit car.
  4. I agree that their Zuppa Toscana is an awesome Soup. The all you can eat Soup and Salad is one of the best deals. I love the Garlic bread sticks also. Course being a chain, some are better than others, but the one here in Lynnwood Washington does excel above the average. In regards to best Pizza Place: Pizza Bank in Kirkland Washington. The place actually used to be a real bank, their food is awesome. Pies are hard to beat and none of the mass chains can even hold a stick to their pizza. Worst place: Sherries, on par with the dirty Denny's both are pretty sad. Best steak place: Daniels in Bellevue Washington. Their Filet and Porterhouse are amazing. Best Seafood: Just about any place here in Seattle, but I think the best is Palisade Waterfront Restaurant. http://www.palisaderestaurant.com/ Best Fish and Chips: Spuds Fish and Chips in Juanita Bay, Kirkland Washington. We'll will add more later. Gonna go grab some lunch.
  5. AGREED, Leave it alone, the DEXCool is excellent and does not have the issue GM ran into in the 90's. Those that have tried to change back to the Traditional GREEN have actually run into more problems as it is almost impossible to get all of the DEXCool out of the car. Enjoy your new baby and let the DEXCool do it's job, you will be very happy with it.
  6. I see your point, For me, I do not see GM having Hummer or this Awesome Hybrid. I see Raser buying the line and turning it around as a quality Hybrid Line of vehicles. Interesting is on their web site today they have posted a flyer showing how this whole drive line could go into a GMC or Chevy pickup truck or SUV. Clearly they have their eye on supplying an auto maker with their version of a hybrid system. Nice to see this show up next year in som GM products. Allows us to Kick Toyota Ass!
  7. This Hummer keeps the same towing and off road capabilities. Raser says this has everything that makes a Hummer a Hummer plus the Hybrid to save you a fortune in gas cost. Yes, this is Real. Raser has a large amount of Coal burning, energy production plants, Geo Thermal plants and Natural Gas plants. They have the backing to make this happen. I disagree, I like the Hummer vehicles and would love it even more to have one like this that can kick the greenies back to the curb. I would have no problem if GM got apprval to do this to Chevy & GMC mid size SUV/CUV vehicles. Any way you look at it, this is a good thing and major change that will only help this country I think.
  8. That one is surprising as I do not see what is to be boycotted about coors. Anyway, Rocky Mountains.
  9. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540/vp/3677250#30518064 So I have updated the link and it should work now, sorry about that. I have also printed it here so you can cut and past it into your own browser. Enjoy, Here is the web site for the company also: http://www.rasertech.com/media/videos/the-electric-h3
  10. I like it and would buy one. I wonder if Raser will become the new owners of Hummer or if Obama's auto task force will change their mind and say keep it and build only Hybrids and diesels or what? Some interesting info. I love the video on the web page of the Hummer actually working in the real world. Pretty cool. Wall Street Showing of 100 MPG Hummer and Interview with company Raser Tech
  11. 100 MPG Hummer Hybrid from Raser Tech Raser Technologies UNVEILS 100+ MPG PLUG-IN HYBRID Hummer at THE SAE World Congress IN DETROIT Technology in New Electric Hummer Could Drive Bold Leap Ahead for U.S. Automakers, Making Popular Trucks & SUVs ‘Greener Than a Prius’ Raser Technologies, Inc. unveiled a 100+ mpg Hummer H3 powered by Raser’s plug-in hybrid E-REV (Extended-Range Electric Vehicle) at the 2009 SAE International World Congress, Cobo Center, Detroit, MI. Raser developed the 100+ mpg Electric H3 demonstration vehicle working closely with Hummer. Just one year ago at the 2008 SAE World Congress, Raser and its development partner FEV Inc., Auburn Hills, MI, a leading automotive integrator, introduced Raser’s E-REV power train, similar in function to the Chevy Volt but designed for use in a variety of larger full-sized SUVs and light trucks. The vehicle was developed in association with the Plug-in Hybrid Development Consortium, co-founded by Raser along with leading electric utilities, lithium ion battery companies and other automotive technology companies. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS, Would you buy this?
  12. I think you need to look Green my man and show the world the way! Raser 100 MPG Hummer Hybrid
  13. Personally the issues they have with the Caddy is nit picking as they are preferances in regards to the seats and head rests. The rest of the fit and finish is also really stretching it. I personally do not like the BMW layout of the dash or the feel. So far all the cars I have been in and looked at have had a plasticy cheap feel and look compared to my caddy's. I will stay with my American Luxury Auto's, supporting my American companies.
  14. This will be interesting to watch. Why a car company would want to buy up money loosing operations that have really never produced a profit is beyond me, but if they can do what GM could not then more power to them. Course the unions in Germany are apposed to the deal as they will get busted eventually. I can see closing down the saab plant and some of Opels plants as they consolidate and get the product lines profitable. GM should have done this long ago instead of caving into the unions. You have to have balls to play with the big boys.
  15. Awesome, thanks for sharing DF.
  16. That is such a slap in the face to GM, so much for supporting America.
  17. I coudl buy that reasoning, what about Buick picking up the performance side so they have a mid lux auto side and a mid lux performance car side. What about thoughts on that?
  18. Exactly, I will not go down without a Fight, just sucks the way they did this especially after the hype and visit with upper mgmt a couple weeks ago. I will have to say that I truly do believe this was a last minute decision. Course I just got an email asking if I could stay on a few weeks to work down in San jose doing TOI (Transfer of Information) to get all the new engineers up to speed on the hardware projects we have been doing so they can continue the development. I think they will end up spending more money and loosing time to go to one dev site versus keeping us open. I really am surprised by what the Board thinks is better cost mgmt. We'll I get to sleep on this and decide tomorrow as they will keep me onboard. I probably will do this as I can give the TOI and also work on my resume and job search while still getting a paycheck. Good Luck DF on your search as well.
  19. :rotflmao: Good One +1000lbs
  20. Thanks Everyone for your kind words. Greatly appreciated.
  21. Considering that they are hurting for being able to create their own vehicles and really have very little manufacturing of their own, this could be the Death Bell for them as an auto company. I could see someone buying them up for their technology and just making Subaru a part of Auto History.
  22. OK, Lets hear some valid reasons as to why they should NOT sell auto's? Yes they have not had them before that I can remember and they did have the performance Syclone and Typhone. So why not have a performance auto? Would it be better that Buick have a mid luxury Perfomance line? I could live with that.
