  1. Was the break job done at the dealership or 3rd party repair shop? I stopped using Midas as they went to life time warranty on breaks and they are so damn noisy due to the excessive metalic in the pads. I would rather go OEM quite and have to replace them every 50K miles than to have a noisy pad.
  2. So the fact that the Tripletreads are quiter than the aquatreads must be due to the use of Canada's sand oil.
  3. OCNBLU you Rock!!! Thank you for posting such an amazing collection of awesome metal. I would love a number of those cars. R.I.P. May you rest in Peace and tear it up in history PONTIAC!!!
  4. Do these shoes have a life time warranty? I have found that shoes and pads with lifetime warranties usually are high metalic content and always squeal or whin. This could end up driving you nuts unless you cannot hear it when you play the radio. I have never had shoes or pads that made noise during the first 500 miles to set / break them in. Only metallic pads / shoes do this.
  5. Aweet another point checked off on the road to revival.
  6. Suspense is just a killer waiting to see if the deal completes
  7. Magazines! Playboy, Penthouse, etc
  8. Got Milk!!!
  9. Hope you 21st is a safe but crazy fun day. Everyone deserves a total blow out of this big milestone. Happy B Day to you!!!
  10. After seeing the other two photo's, I have to say that I like it

  12. MICHELIN if you want a quite tire, excellent traction. I have the BF Goodrich A/T on my suburban, Dakota and Durango, they are the best for that class and type of vehicle. On the Escalade, I have the OEM Goodyears, but like all good years if you go into a parking garage or any place they have cement roads / floors and Good Years always squeal. Very noisy tires. I have on the CTS & SRX Michelins and they Rock, great grip, quite, I can Highly recommend the tire. My dad on his SRX put on the Fortera Triple Tread last fall and loved them in the snow and rain here in Seattle. The last few weeks he has said while it is quite on the asphalt roads, they are much noisier on Cement and still squeal in the parking garages. So both tires are good, but if you really want grip with total Quite, then go Michelin. Price is worth the pleasure of the drive.
  13. OUCH, I agree with you Satty that this is dumb and dumber. This is going to back fire as the last company to try a gimick like this was mitsubish with their no payments for a year and just around the time of the 2fast 2 furious movie. They sold a ton of cars and in a year had a ton of reposensions. Very stupid as this only brings out the bottom feeders IMO.
  14. I thought those rims had a clear coat on them so then that version would not work as it is for non coated rims is my understanding.
  15. Phew, Glad that the DILF that cubicle stated was taken the right way. A coworker of mine who also has started to visit C&G just stopped by and asked if I knew what DILF was and I told him Divorced, but he said in his community it stood for dad's and I have to say that is has been a long time since I blushed and of course I give him credit as he has decided to come out of the closet. Most of us thought it but never said anything but today he confirmed it. Personally I could go for the female side of MILF or DILF Kids do not bother me. Preferre none but still would not bother me. Response to Thread: Racing!!!
  16. I agree with you guys that I love GM too and in the short run will accept the gov ownership to get it on the road running, but then let it go back to being private. In regards to Religion and politics, I personally preferre to keep them seperated, I see no reason that religion should be in politics, history shows this does not work. So I hope not to piss anyone off but love to voice in as I enjoy debates! David
  17. So then I hate to make an assumption as I do not know you that well, but then does it need to be DILF????? Response to thread: Comfort Food
  18. SunFire has pad front, shoes rear, I suspect the following, A) we are talking about the front Pads B) They are probably high Metallic and came with a lifetime warranty, reason they whin and make noise. C) During installation they could have missed applying brake quite spray to the back of the pads and any shims that might be back there. If it really is the Rear Shoes, then we have a whole new ballgame as SAmadei is correct, drums usually absorb the noise. So are we talking front pads or rear shoes?
  19. :rotflmao: We so need a MILF Emoticon! Response to this Thread! American Pie!!!
  20. Please do say more, Debatable comments I love, I figure that is the MOST Patriotic American thing you can do as it is our basic right! Agree to disagree but state why we feel or think the way we do.

  22. This will be an interesting thing to watch as we will kill any ability to grow our country and build things as Trucks, SUV's etc will not fall into this stupid over kill of Mileage. Get ready for an expensive cost increase in everything due to the crazy technology that will have to be figured out at Customer expense to meet these mileage goals.
  23. Hey GM4Life, My 1994 GMC Suburban has a Viper system that was installed by Circuit City, with Remote start, Auto crack of the windows, meaning I can put them down only an inch, half way or all the way down from the remote and many more options. Here it is 2009 and after 15 years, it still works great and I love it. Yes some can have their brain fried if a swap of the battery is not done properly in the car but over all Viper alarm / remote start systems are the best out there. I have put them on everyone of my auto's.
  24. Kind reminds me of a green shoe for a giant with little toes.
