I agree that the Ford Pickups for the most part have never had major issues, I have had as my own experience blown 4 banger in a ranger I had for a year, decided to return it under the state lemon law. American auto makers have a mixed bag on building small motors in mid size and compact auto's. Lincoln is starting to build some very nice looking SUVs, but the reliability is the issue and I honestly do not think the launch with such massive fixes required for the Aviator was helpful. I am glad after that nightmare that Ford slowed down the launches to insure the building of said auto was of proper higher quality. Ford Mach E seems to be going through this same lets take a few extra days and insure the build is right from the start for each one. I honestly expect a much higher reliability for the Mach E than what Tesla has had as well as other ford products have had.

Agree that there is much to want to like about the new Lincolns, but sadly they have the poor Ford reliability. Issues large enough to keep me away.

How often do you change your oil?
G. David Felt replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Product Questions and Reviews
Yesterday, got both the SS and Escalade Mobile 1 oil changes done. Checked out everything else. Have a bad air sensor on the SS, but not affecting driving and with the Pandemic, will hold off till after the new year. -
Thank you for re-enforcing just how pathetic these Bricks with faces drawn on are. Another example of pigs with Lipstick!

This is why I think GM FAILED in regards to their ICE product line. Someone signed off on a Cheap poor acceptance of the front end of the 2021 Escalade by just almost badge engineering the Chevrolet Suburban. 2021 Cadillac Escalade ESV 2021 Chevrolet Suburban

Possible, then again, they might be far more profitable than Chevrolet is due to their commercial delivery vans as well as a higher end product line. Last 30 years we have seen GM go from being the largest auto company in the world to a player in just select markets. Allot can change in 30 years. Need to get back to my project, but here is what I quickly found for just the last 10 years. I can easily see Rivian doing this. Chevrolet Sales Numbers, Figures, Results | GM Authority

Asian rim seems to run 40 years behind the US in that regards as only the last decade has Japan and China also gotten into body building big time. Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan need to work on those chests. Way to flat man.- 64 replies

Seems break throughs are happening for more conductive copper which would allow more efficient electric motors and make them more powerful. Charged EVs | More conductive copper could increase motor efficiency - Charged EVs Seems VW ID4 CUV got it's EPA certified rating for the EV at 250 miles of range. Quote: The ID 4 is the first VW ID model to be sold in the US and is powered by a single rear-axle motor that produces 201 horsepower and 228 pound-feet of torque. The ID 4 will be available later in 2021 with a dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup and a different maximum estimated range. Volkswagen ID 4 has 250-mile range estimate certified by the EPA - Roadshow (cnet.com) Seems EV is bringing back RWD to VW.

@A Horse With No Name Amazing how crazy Koreans have gone for Body Building which was huge in the 70's and 80's here. Men and Woman, everyone wants that perfect body. I follow HYO_1013 or hyonybee on Instagram. She used to work for Dell as a sales rep, left and became 3 years ago a top competitor in Female Body Building in Korea. What are the most daring photos of South Korean fashion model Hyony Kim? - Quora One of her latest Photo Shoots. Do not like the hair color change, but excellent photo spread of her. Ford orders Extra Cold freezers...

I like that what they have learned about creating a vaccine with this Virus and using the mRMA process can be applied to better vaccines down the road and even updating existing vaccines. -
Thanks for Posting, have a project deadline, so did not have time to dig into this and will not till after Dec 12th to see how this lines up with Washington and Oregon, course we sell a ton of surplus electricity to California. Like all things, building and adding capacity will come as the industry moves to EV's and the electricity providers become the new oil barons. With the amount of open space not being used, Texas is building solar farms fast and adding capacity at a very large growing rate. They just brought online Upton 2 Solar Farm, a 212 plus MegaWatt production facility and they approved a new 1,310 megawatt facility that just broke ground and will be fully functional starting in 2022 with more solar farms to come. California is adding Wind, Solar and Tide power generation, I believe that the states that embrace EV adoption also realize the need to add power and make the grid redundant. Just as they are expanding and building redundancy here in Washington state, I would expect other states to do the same investing in the future, creating jobs, etc. As Balthazar has stated, change will take time and time is on the side of change as the states adapt and build out.

Amazing all the EV Pickup trucks that have been announced for production. Be very interesting to see which ones actually make it to market. I am expecting that 50% will never actually see production and as the Heritage OEM builders start to deliver their trucks, it will reduce this down to maybe just Tesla and Rivian being the new kids on the block that survive along with Lordstown as a special Niche builder since they are focusing on Commercial use / Governments. Cyber truck reminds me of the DeLorean, 1 and done for sure. I would expect a much more normal truck that that POS that supposedly had non-breakable glass, oops, it broke. Rear seats sitting in a hole, So many things wrong with that truck.

Fall back on some car spotting for November
G. David Felt replied to trinacriabob's topic in The Lounge
If the east coast did not destroy the environment with so much SALT, they would not have all rusted out. Guess that is another reason they lasted so long on the west coast is we use environmentally sound chemicals on snow and iced roads and not salt. I had no rust problems as did my dad with our 1976 Chevy Luv Series 5 pickup. I honestly think how you care for something shows how long it lasts. Yes, I know Japanese, Korean and Chinese have all built crap products too just like American auto companies, but I think anything can last if properly cared and cleaned. Sadly, cleaning of auto's based on my times living and working there is not a thing that is done often on the east coast. -
Thank you for explaining the big problem, FAKEBOOK, amazing how many people think what is posted there is actual news and intelligence. Hard Pass on that piece of crap social network failure.

Old brand new, CT5 Sport, TTV6, red rims from the factory. Shocking. Will have to say, while not a fan of the 2021 Escalade as the front end says Chevrolet to me, the interior is freaking awesome as is the quality of leather and large LCD dash screen. Was surprised that a basic Escalade ESV Sport edition was $103,959 with destination charge.
