I loved the Turbo 4 SVO from the 80's that was a fun Mustang. This could be very cool. Interesting to see what they bring.

I would have to disagree with you, having been in multiple difference electric conversions, I have come to the same conclusion on electric motors as it is with ICE. The type of motor be it AC or DC and how it is built all plays into the personality of the motor and the noise it creates. I totally respect a V12, V8, V6 and 4 bangers. I honestly have no respect for what I have experienced in 3 or 2 cylinder motors especially the noisy dirty 2-stroke motors. Personality of electrics is very limited to most people due to the few rare auto's out there. Yet if you have ever used an electric boat motor, there are big differences between them just as I have seen in Auto motors. I think Porsche is keenly aware of the need for motor personality and it can be heard here in the latest video of the Taycan Mules.

Boat rental time to get away from the masses. Bad News Trump just made you a Terrorist for Visiting Cuba. Good News, They have Social Health Care in Prison.

YAWN, Meh, no big deal or anything special to see here. The engine is a dead duck flying. I really wonder how many they expect to sell over the next 5 years.

Interior of Mercedes-Benz GLB Concept Rendered :Comments

I have honestly thought of that as well. Two things is one style, has it grown old, stale, uninteresting and two Fit / Finish in comparison to other brands? Competition is very much heating up and while I am a fan of Mary and her drive for sustainable profits, I do question the short term thinking in regards to the name plate products they currently have since the EVs are not ready to role out yet. The excitement factor is something to question and not just at GM but other OEMs as well. As @balthazar has pointed out, when was the last time Mercedes showed us a concept and actually then built it? Yes, many build concepts as style studies to gage attendees reactions, but were never intended to be built and other times you have concepts such as what Cadillac has done in the last couple that people have loved and they have failed to build them let alone refresh the current products to build on the excitement it generates. Final point is the amount of debt people have, many just cannot afford to trade in / trade up. So the market will suffer. My gut tells me we have finally entered the bear market that will see a 12 to 18 months of soft sales till various new EVs show up and actual new product is available for sale. -

Over all MB is starting to make the same mistakes of old GM, sitting on models longer and updating them later and missing the desire by the public. -
Yup, I figure the person does not understand the EV power train and is building for a look or maybe a cover that looks like a Diff but just covers the motor? ?♂️

Nissan News: Carlos Ghosn Arrested Again in Japan

I would bet his wife already has considerable assets in her own name some where in the world. He will get out, leave the country and never return as he retires to some non extradition treaty country. -

The 2 to 1 Newest CUV manufacture is hitting home runs. -
We have always known that Tesla is a cult favorite and like Apple will have to continue to ramp efficient building of their auto's. This is a normal stumble for them and with the China manufacturing plant coming on line later this year, I would expect sales to stay consistent as they cover the world minus China from America. I expect this to also push on them to get the Model Y into production so they have their S3XY portfolio going. ? I wonder if the truck will be a Model ! so that they can put the exclamation mark on that S3XY! portfolio?

I think the big push in Q4 of last year was due to the tax credit issue, We will see a more gradual balance emerge now I believe.

Seems the growing excitement has some folks that have awesome photo shop skills are offering what the R1S would look like in Off-Road extreme form. Found this with credit to the orignal designer Mo Aoun on the Teslarati site. https://www.teslarati.com/rivian-r1s-suv-off-road-images/

The Durango had 392 on the side as you can see in the pictures, should have also taken a pic of the paperwork which stated 6.4L Hemi or 392 cubic inches. Either way, still a bad ass Durango. -

I totally agree with this, unlike GM of past and other American manufactures that ignored Deming and Drucker who ended up going to Japan and teaching them about Quality Management for Profit, Mary is a student of them. Right now Mary knows that if she is able to turn consistent profits and plan for the future, they can take back the market share and leadership role, but this first comes by making sure the company is profitable which she has done even if many of us do not agree with how the auto's are being built now. She is for sure investing in the future and will leave GM with a legacy that will be realized after the fact. Profitable GM with Quality will bring market share and long term growth. Another outstanding CEO was IBM Gerstner hired in 1993 and turned IBM into one of the most profitable service companies and proved he also built a deep bench of leadership by taking his Golden Parachute over 10 years to prove what he built would last and still does today. It will be very interesting to watch everyone from the Germans to the Asian and American auto companies and see who becomes the new leader in the EV auto world. -

Considering the mess they left when they were here last, that is more like giving it away for 20 plus years to build up enough history of reliable auto's for people to pay a premium. Will not trust a Peugeot. I your 40 plus years old, you know the crap they had and how they left people holding the bag of the garbage they tried to sell and then dumped and fled. I do not trust them period. They are just barely 1 step above Alfa that should have stayed in the history books for the garbage it is. -
Or even a full size or mid size. Mini works for many, just look at how many old Mini Ford Rangers were sold.

I question that, 6 months of continual sales decline, my gut tells me people are getting tired of the MB products and having them everywhere from the Kia entry level to the so called Luxury level, but all for the most part looking the same. I think their leadership will be replaced by some other company. -

Yet Italians are well know for stylish quality built boats, why can they not seem to figure this out for the Auto's they build. Just crazy. -

I admit that I have not seen specific numbers for them in Europe just the BCC that says over all European auto sales are in serious decline. If they are staying flat that is good for them. I truly hope they maximize the Opel experience and bring in something that will be a hit here as an alternative to what is here but not so far out there that is just sits. -

Saw a Stelvio new at the 24hr fitness last night when I went to work out, the sun roof was partially open. I told the person they were calling for rain and he looked at me pissed and said there was nothing he could do as it was no longer functional, being taken in today and so far he had buyers remorse due to the poor quality of the CUV. I have to think that anyone that is willing to pay the money these auto's command will look at the reviews and think twice about buying their quality-less auto's. -
Car is bland enough to keep me from wanting to buy it, but I will hold out hope for an exciting V edition package. Who knows. ?♂️
