  1. Yup, those are the CARB Vapor Recovery nozzles and depending on the auto, some are a pain in the ass to fuel with as they do shutoff when not properly sealed. I hate them and look forward to the EV day when pumps are gone. @Drew Dowdell What issues are you having with the Encore?
  2. Very true, but I have to question how small we go on ICE auto's before the interior room is just not worth the price they ask for the auto.
  3. Yea, just double checked and realized I had the 1999 octane levels, now in 2019, 87,89,91
  4. My daughters best friend has an Overland and the leather dash is half off and the rest lumpy and they blame her detailing by a 3rd party as to why it is coming off and as such refuse to fix it under warranty. Not happy at all, yet the regular dash in my Son's Altitude is fine going on 3yrs now. Go figure, probably a piss poor glue job by Jeep.
  5. Looks tiny and less useful than the terrible package called Crosstrek which I just shake my head at on how poorly packaged it is.
  6. @ccap41 @Robert Hall West coast seems to go 83 regular, 86 mid and 91 premium. Go figure. My bad, those were what they were till 1999 here, I just double checked and see it is 87, 89, 91 for regular, mid, premium.
  7. Just searched in 150 mile range of my house and only 2 Green Jeep GC. First is a TrackHawk and second is a TrailHawk. Just tried the build tool and I see it only comes up on those two so far. Trail or Track????? Decisions, decisions, decisions!!!! ? Trackhawk Trailhawk
  8. As long as all light systems relay this info, then I would agree with you that having this optimize with your adaptive cruise control would be an outstanding feature then.
  9. WOW, prices are interesting for a 4x2. I wonder how much of this is to make up the $77 million dollar fine they got nailed with for missing their fuel economy numbers? ?
  10. I like the Kinetic Blue, wish they had a Deep Forest Green for this, but having an RS configured the way I like it, is a $52,655 auto and I just have to question the value in this auto for that price.
  11. No one my friend ever has everything they need when it comes to tools! I always seem to find a tool I need for a project.
  12. Brexit is already having an impact on jobs that do not require college education and I see them leaving the Euro Union as an attempt by the rich to rebuild a cast system in UK. I think they have greatly missed the bigger picture here all in an attempt to grasp at holding onto the past that is already gone.
  13. I hear the East coast has 93, but west coast is all 91, very weird. I still think most auto's only need regular to still offer an amazing ride.
  14. Totally agree, Seattle is the same way, at most 3 months a year of decent weather for bike riding, rest of the year. PASS, too wet or frozen.
  15. Thank you for posting the video. I now wonder how many people who already cannot balance cellphone use with driving will be distracted by this trying to optimize their speed to the system to hit all green lights. I do question the value of this.
  16. Sounds like a technology that would go well with automated driverless auto's. Human nature is to get from A to B as fast as you can and ignoring signals by cutting through parking lots, alley ways, etc.
  17. You are correct, the original 2.0 Turbo for Cadillac is rated at 93 octane for it's HP / Torque figures and produces less when on 87, but Cadillac does strongly recommend you stay with Premium fuel. This updated Turbo 4 is tuned for 87 from the beginning.
  18. Do not forget the cool Blue tooth connectivity, recharging dock and place to hold your phone. Yes it has that and I am being sarcastic as the bulk of people in Seattle do not bike ride in the rain up and down hills.
  19. 2017, lets look at 2019 now Pricing has almost dropped in half and if your in an EV friendly state like I am or in this case, the West Coast of Washington, Oregon and California. The local power utilities will install it for free and charge you the on average cost of $593 as they will make it back in the charging cost you pay for power. https://www.improvenet.com/r/costs-and-prices/electric-car-charger-station-installation-cost Like everything as production scales up, costs go down.
  20. Brexit is the reason they are just too polite to say it. Traditional Japanese way of never say no and never insult your guest no matter how rude they might be. Japanese ruthless business sense is they can build the automotive trend setting auto's, CR-V in Japan and export it all over Europe at a lower cost and probably higher quality building it in a robotized plant in Japan over the work force of UK or Turkey. As far as the production / jobs quote at the end, they have to hire to get manufacturing facilities ready in Japan as 2021 is not far away.
  21. My fear is that GM has already killed the Blazer like they did the Trailblazer. They only built the SS after building plenty of appliance regular ones. The Trailblazer SS is what should have been the base and then taken it capable handling to the next level with a Premier and true SS version. The blazer is a fine appliance auto for getting from Point A to B and yet that is about all I get from what I have seen and read so far. GM Failed to take the passion of the auto with the history of being an off road CUV and making it that from the beginning. 2019 Blazer is just another street appliance in a different set of cloths. Yes it will sell and sell once they throw money on the hood. Will it trend set? NO Blazer, ? Poor execution on what it really could have been.
  22. WOW, did not realize just how much they match now. Chevrolet with that damn ugly Predator mouth.
  23. Just think we could have a Cadillac Pecking Duck!
  24. Been working since 5am PST and still at it, so quickly looked and responded, as you know many of us without the proper Emojii seem to have a hard time reading Sarcastic comments!
