  1. I love the Garnette Red on my SS and my White Diamond on my Escalade, though as posted, I would love a purple Escalade.
  2. LOL, it is ok to call me on it, but I still say today's MB cars look 1990's dated. I saw a red MB 4 door car, who knows what model CLA, C-Class or S-Class and it just looked old even though it had a new paper license tag on the rear window. To me it looked dated already even though it seemed new. But that is my opinion on MB cars.
  3. While there are pros and cons to using paramagnetic paint, the biggest benefit is paint the car one color and then the dealer can change it to any color the customer wants. Yes early tech, but I believe it could really change the future of autos. https://www.litcoat.com/paramagnetic-paint
  4. 1966 Jag S-Type
  5. That is why I am excited about Cadillacs new updated style design for the whole family that will come out on their first EV CUV. Should be a nice refresh to the family as they change over the face. Hopefully in two years when it goes into production, they can also refresh the rest of the ICE products to keep in sync or at least have a like type version.
  6. I think as an EV it will sell in decent numbers as it blends in with normal cars.
  7. Seems Pictures are finally showing up of what is expected to be the BMW i4 Electric Sedan. Seems it is a normal looking 4 door on size with the Tesla 3. https://www.autoblog.com/2019/01/25/bmw-i4-prototype-spy-photos/ Should sell well. On April 2nd 2015 Aston Martin talked about having a Rapid e performance auto. Seems they are getting close to making sure the RAPIDe. Seems it will be an 800v powerhouse that can hold it's own and deliver performance like the Rapid V12. the Rapide E uses two electric motors to make 610 horsepower and 700 pound-feet of torque. It has a top speed of 155 mph and can do 0-60 mph in less than four seconds.
  8. Agree, I am very disappointed in the color selection they have for the cars at Cadillac.
  9. Here in washington, I doubt the forest rangers will bother, but they wrote the law to include on or off road, personal seatbelts must be worn at all times or else you are eligible to be fined. Glad to hear NJ has seat belts on the school buses, here they do not but should I think. I would also like to see them on public buses but I doubt that will ever happen.
  10. The Amethyst color they have on the Escalade I love!
  11. Poor Tree, should have never taken the blow for that POS Printer.
  12. @ykX Correct we can build computers that are faster than the Human brain. Yet working in the Enterprise Storage business with Developers daily and the amount of bugs added into software, I still want my OPTION in regards to which Nanny devices I use. Yes Seatbelts save lives, but it should still be OPTIONAL. Not enforced fined use. There are times NOT wearing a seatbelt can be safer than wearing it, 4x4 off road is a perfect example. Not all buses have seatbelts, none of the school buses or public buses in Washington State have them and they are not mandatory. What state are you in that has seat belts on school buses?
  13. This is for you @A Horse With No Name 1600HP Dual Engine VW Golf!
  14. I see only the rich really benefiting by this and then eventually those that want to buy CPO auto's. I really do not see the bulk of people using this type of service.
  15. I want a deep dark Metallic Green, Purple or Mocha Brown for my next exterior auto paintjob.
  16. For me, I love road trips so when I bought my first 1994 GMC Suburban SLE, I got it with the extra capacity fuel tank so I knew I could easily drive 500 miles non-stop. But that is based on my desire and needs. I think you are the rare person like me that would think of an extra capacity tank for fewer fuel ups. Battery is the same way, if you never take a road trip and can easily plug in overnight, then does a person need more than 150-200 miles of battery range. One can plug in everywhere be it slow or fast depending on what is available. Yet for those like myself that do like road trips, I see no reason to not buy the biggest battery pack out there for my use. For most people dropping a few bucks to top off their EV should be a normal approach to life where you can just plug in and grab some juice anywhere. That is the positive benefit of EVs is being able to drive to work, know you have some errands and as such, plug in and top off the battery while at work. Sure cannot do that with ICE but you can with electric as long as you can access a 110 plug or designated 220 or 440 charge ports in the parking area.
  17. As you know my friend, shitty 1 and 0 in, shitty output. Bitch to the coder!
  18. I will totally agree that all the various Marketing names is a confusing Shit Storm of WTF for the average driver. Now the Average driver seems to have gotten dumber and dumber as we have individuals in the various state and federal gov that thinks driving is more of a right than the reality that it is a privilege earned. As such we have a growing group of DMF's that should not even be driving and this has led to the following nanny devices being forced on everyone. Reality, Let me have the CHOICE to disable this stuff as the computer CANNOT act as fast as the brain in reading all the various issues on the road. There could be a very valid reason for me to drift out of a lane of traffic. I DO NOT want the auto fighting me to put me back in the lane especially if I am avoiding something in the road that the computer does not read properly or understand. Last thing I need is a computer trying to force me to drive over a piece of steel that will damage my auto versus moving out of the lane a bit to avoid it. These nanny devices need to be optional and not forced on us just like seatbelt laws that penalize you for wearing them yet you find non on the mass transit or school buses and the double standard by the police for not wearing them, talking on a cell phone and playing with their computer.
  19. Totally agree that traditional White and Black are such BLAH Colors. If I ever went black, it would have to be some form of heavy metallic black with built up layers of metallic black paint and clear coat to give it depth. Had a white auto twice in my life, never again.
  20. I was thinking it looks just right in the elements for a Trail Boss. Yea could use a Canyon Trail boss next to it.
  21. Like the two tone interior color, but does remind me of a young Hyundai. Wonder about that quality inside and out.
  22. @Drew Dowdell Any connection to VW or Honda? That T600 looks allot like the VW / Honda CUVs. Wonder how much the design will change when launched here in the US. Such a BLAH BLAND look.
  23. Yet in the Asian Rim, White colored auto's is one of the top 3 colors next to Metallic Silver and Black. White is considered pure where as the other two are more associated with wealth.
  24. I agree that every auto company should do this. I also hope that Porsche expands this to all models including the CUV type.
