  1. Very true, but then you have others bring business, corrupt policy etc. into the discussion causing response. Cause and effect. seems to run everywhere every day.
  2. I understand and am sorry you have to deal with so many ignorant kids. I hope I do not cause you too much stress in trying to keep and drive the political discussion in the political forum area. We could always just kill it and go back to driving only auto discussion and slap each of us if we do bring up anything political.
  3. I really hope Ford and GM bring out EV versions of their Pony cars. I wonder why I have not found an EV Camero yet?
  4. Agreed, I truly wonder if GM will be back to manufacturing auto's and selling auto's in Venezuela in the next 2-5 years. I wonder just how far the country will sink into self implosion before they throw out the whole so called Socialist government?
  5. Hurst, it would be awesome if they came out with some cool gadgets for EV auto's! Hurst could reinvent themselves and help push the Muscle car EV market!
  6. My bet is you could bring it into compliance far more easily than you could a diesel or most turbo motors.
  7. True, salt is banned for the most part from use on roads in Washington state. Bio-Friendly ice melt is used instead. Back on Topic, I wonder if the old Supercharged 3600 V6 would fit in the new Regal, that was a bad ass motor. Do your maintenance and it lasted for a long time.
  8. Yawn, I will pass, they are not taking enough risk or pushing the limits of what is needed and can be done in an AWD CUV. hard core Acura fans afraid of change will for the most part love it.
  9. Yea, I get the rust issue, though I will say I never had a rust problem on mine. But then I am OCD about keeping my auto's clean.
  10. Seems like this might bring in the debate of briefs or boxers?
  11. Chevy Luv with Small Block V8. These trucks rocked and I always loved that my hood tilted forward. Miss my little Chevy Luv Series 5. Sharp Little Trucks.
  12. Much better Grill than their bucktooth grill they have had for years.
  13. For a luxury level CUV, this dash looks to bland and cheap.
  14. Love the color, that is about it. Hate the big ass D pillar, such blind spots, I just do not understand this move to take away vision in auto design. The one thing I hate about the Camaro is the high doors and slits for windows. Hard to see out.
  15. Awesome I know you will get us some, but could not resist using this emoticon!
  16. That is why I would divorce the wife, let her have everything and then become a ward of the state in my final days of dying. They can live on and I can be cremated and dumped in the hills someplace.
  17. Have not been impressed with the whole NISMO thing since they destroyed the skyline and brought the fat pig of a so called version to the states. They lost their lean mojo that made them great. Course could be the gov regulations for all the stupid nanny devices too.
  18. @Cubical-aka-Moltar So once the pod is lowered, chains off, does the skeleton then move forward to reattach to the truck? Never seen this before so pretty interesting what engineers came up with.
  19. Amazing, I had no idea GM had that many plants. According to the list, current factories: Bogota Columbia Rio Brazil Sao Caetano Brazil Sao Jose Brazil Quito Ecuador Rosario Argentina They have closed a number of plants in Central and south america: Buenos Aires and San Martin Argentina Arica Chile Valencia Venezuela
  20. I would be more happy if they would actually have some style and not be an anime image of Puke
  21. Interesting, yea I would agree that if an auto has 100K miles on it and needs more than a software flash upgrade, it is not worth it so recycle the auto.
  22. Seems Honda Crushed the VW Golf GTI Clubsport S for the best track time at Nurburg ring. 7 min and 43.8 seconds and only 3 seconds shy of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1's record. Impressive and you know the ricers are going to go crazy for the Type R. http://www.autoblog.com/2017/04/24/2018-honda-civic-type-r-sets-nurburgring-record/ In watching the video multiple times, I realize the Street legal tires they used sure screeched allot and clearly gave up some sticky control. Makes one wonder how fast they would have gone if they used true racing tires?
  23. I get the old Manuals, I grew up learning to drive in the mid 70's on a 3 on the tree and those you had to listen to the RPMs and had specific shift points. Later on, once you did have a proper experience in shifting, you could do it clutch free as you speed shift at just the right upper RPM going through the gears. I made sure both my kids knew how to drive manuals so they could drive anything. Now it is no big deal or needed.
