  1. And I would agree with this 100%!!! I would own a Hellcat/Red Eye first. Or a Scat Pack. A Mustang GT, any engined convertible, GT350 in second place and Id skip the Camaro entirely. Maybe Id do a Trans Am 455 SD from Trans Am Depot in 3rd place instead of an outright Camaro.
  2. That's in Montreal!!!
  3. Montreal is a beautiful city. Not more than any other city on this planet. But Montreal is unique. It has English and French architecture. Its got both old world European flair with modern American panache. Cuisine? Montreal always had world quality restaurants. Las Vegas, Boston, Houston are some North American cities that have equalled and perhaps surpassed Montreal in that area..but...Montreal, along with NYC still remain surprisingly relevant. What makes Montreal (and especially NYC) that great in all these areas? Montreal (and NYC) are trully real cosmopolitan cities. For a couple of centuries now. Food is where this shows. Walk the streets of Montreal in the summer and then you get to see how cosmopolitan Montreal really is. its just not the architecture that is stunning, just how NYC stuns you with its high rises....its how the people interact with each other. All the colours of the ethnics...how each is represented in the city. Its great!
  4. Yes! Yes and YES!!!
  5. Maybe you should take a visit up here and see for yourself. You know, Montreal is not Lancaster... in that the Province of Quebec with its Crown Corporation Hydro-Quebec actually produces a good chunk of the world's hydro-electricity. At a fairly cheap price for us Quebeckers to consume... Its too bad you dont believe. Please, come take a visit. Ill take you out on a date to entice you. We'll catch a Habs hockey game while we're at it. The Penguins or Flyers? You choose.
  6. ? (I care a little less for the manual transmission part. But the rest of what you love about it, I love also) (Ill just add the actual 'retro-reminiscent' adolescent names that the various Challenger comes in along with the silly adolescent logos. Hellcat, Demon, Red Eye, Scat Pack, R/T... Just like Superbee and The Judge and Trans Am and of course Demon and Roadrunner with the silly cartoon character graphics) (Let us not forget the wide array of awesome, eye catching exterior colours with just as an interesting interior too.)
  7. Roger Goodell or Gary Bettman? Who gets the loudest, longest boos between them? LOL
  8. Tesla Model 3s are very very popular here. I see several every day. 5-6 every day. And no, they arent the same ones.
  9. I do not know what is worse. 1st gen Versa or Tear for Fears. "shout, shout. let it all out...these are the things I could do with out...c;mon. Im talking to you..." Shyte...Ive ALWAYS hated those lyrics from the first day I heard them when I was like 10 years old. With that god awful voice the singer has... To this day I burn up Inside everytime I hear that group on the radio. My brain, hands and fingers cant react fast enough to change the damned station!!! THANK GOODNESS millennials havent taken to Tears For Fear. They got one thing right at least! You know what? Gimme the Versa until I die if I dont have to listen to that shytty group ever again!!!
  10. Is it a case of us wanting it to BE a sports sedan. Mistaken identity, perhaps. As per your assesment, its a great grand tourer, and perhaps THAT is what Buick was aiming for to begin with yet us, WE wanted it to be a sports sedan. Kinda like the way we thought the Ford Fusion Sport would be an Audi S4 competitor JUST because we saw AWD, turbo V6 and "Sport" nomenclature on it...but alas the Fusion Sport makes for a poor sports sedan but an excellent V6 turbo, family, hauling, family sedan. And we chastized it for being a poor sports sedan yet we failed to praise it for what it reaaly is. A V6 family sedan. In derfense of Ford, Ford NEVER made that connection, we did. Ford just slapped on "Sport" on it and WE went with the wild fantasy thoughts. Does Buick market this as a sports sedan? I do not know this answer. But maybe Buick just wants the Regal GS JUST to be a grand tourer. Its kinda like I mean, all these years and I thought the Toyobarus had a Toyota 4 cylinder under the hood...for real. Just a thought that I had.
  11. really? I always thought it was a Toyota 4 banger. All these years, and I was walking this earth with the false idea like that? Ive talked to 2 very good clients of mine who own them. One guy has the Subaru and the other the Scion. We waxed poetic about how wonderful handlers they are. And how a more powerful engine under the hood would just spoil the perfect driving characteristics of it... So...all this time...I had false impressions... What a doof I have been...LOL OK...Ill try to save it. I do really wish it had a TURBO Subaru boxer engine under the hood. The same one as the WRX STi... I know where my falsehoods began. BECAUSE Subaru did NOT offer the TURBO WRX STi engine, I immediatley confused THAT with the Toyobarus having a Toyota 4 banger... I repeat: What a doof I have been. LOL
  12. Not quite. The 86 would be a Subaru if the 86 and the siblings would have a Subaru boxer under the hood. Im perfectly fine with the engine choice just to be clear, but as is, the Toyobarus are in fact, more vanilla Toyota then anything else. PS: I like very much the Toyobarus. A tad small for my tastes, but I like a lot. I would love if Subaru boxer in the BRZ, but hey, you cant always get what you want. I think Jagger said that once... ?
  13. I wanted to make a funny. But I wrote what I wrote. (but now edited. only the dancing dude is still alive in that post. I tried for it to be funny. But alas, it was not funny. I tried and failed. I am at your mercy now. ?
  14. LOL Like..in the video. He IS from California, you know. I wanna know, how many can this guy actually win. Its fantastic what we are witnessing with Tom Brady. I grew up watching and loving Dan Marino with the Dolphins (I was always a Cowboys fan though.) I was mesmerized with Joe Montana. HE was the greatest before Brady. Then Steve Young comes along and I liked him. Of course Troy was my favorite though Then there was John Elway and his late comebacks. Fascinating to watch on a Monday night. But 'twas Joe Montana to Jerry Rice or Steve Young to Jerry Rice that captured my heart and I thought Id never see that again. (Minus the 3 Superbowls of the Dallas Cowboys in the early 1990s. Those were great. HOW 'BOUT 'DEM COWBOYS!!!) ? Until Tom Brady came along... That Superbowl victory a couple of years ago, the one you mentioned. It might have been heartbreaking for many fans, like youself, but if you are a fan of the game, it was just...just...pure magic to see him work. And THAT is why I wanna see how many can this guy, with Belichik, win... I mean, its rare these kinds of things. And when they do happen, I wanna ride that ride as long as we can. I wanna see how far they can go before it really, trully ends. THAT plus what is going on in Boston the last 20 years is just incredible too. The Red Sox have 3 World Series or so, the Celtics have 1 or 2 Championships, the Patriots have, Ive lost count...the Bruins have 1 Stanley Cup. And many finals appearances coming in 2nd place. Gimme the keys to the cah. Im going to Bahsten to pahk in Hahved Yahd. Gonna eat some clam chowdah while Im at it!!! I HATE the Red Sox. I dont like the Patriots all that much. Im indifferent to basketball so I really dont care for the Celtics... I am a Bruins fan though as I HATE Les Canadiens. Proud of my citiy's 27 or so Stanley Cups, 24 of them belonging to the Habs, but yeah... To see Brady and Boston do this...is just great in my eyes! He IS from California... He is just the quarterback you ?. (Just to quote the video) ( a beautiful Dallas Cowboy GIF...just for you!!!)
  15. I dedicate this to all of you. Just before the Superbowl. I saw this browsing on Youtube and I figured...why not post it. Tom Brady...you are THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!! I hope you win another!!!!
  16. ^^^ That is a neat idea. Id buy one yesterday and I woudnt care which country of origin the maker comes from.
  17. Yup! I never thought of that. Awesome observation! Ill just add this because there is another point I wanna make: And then Acura took over in that spot in the 1990s, taking market share away from Pontiac AND Oldsmobile. Which brings me to this point I wanna make: Instead of thinking this Regal GS is like an Audi lite, Im thinking this is a better successor and much better looking 2009-2014 Acura TL.
  18. I googled her. She aint as dumb as we think she is. She settled out of court and I think got enough money to buy herself a Toyota... Unless the links of her information is an April Fool's joke just like what her manager did as a stunt for that contest...she beat the system...
  19. I love what you did with the front end. Great look! I love the blowers. Those are blowers, right? I love the colour. I love the interior. Its an awesome little truck.
  20. We got those same tractors... This one is a prototype... But this one is not... I had a long rant and speech going on...*SIGH* Too political... Listen, John Deere, an American company has that domain covered. You could sleep in peace....
  21. Well, the U.S. use to be an innovative country. To a certain degree, it still is. Silicone Valley, for better or worse, is in the thick of things regarding computer controlled transportation and electric powered vehicles. Detroit is still a driving force in the automotive landscape. Its just that Americans, it seems, still in 2019, do not want to embrace Detroit automobiles. Not to put you on the spot, but you do hate on Ford. What? You think foreign multi-nationals dont phoque around with our lives? Only the American ones? Volkswagen just recently got caught with a Diesel scandal... Look at what is happening with Renault-Nissan? If Goshn embezzled, shame on him. If Japan and Nissan wants to stick it to France and Renault, shame on Japan and Nissan. Look at Huwaei and China and Canada and the US... And...there it is!!! You cant, as an American, DENY other countries to grow...and get to do what you as an American got to enjoy since the end of WW2...and not have other peoples enjoy that too. And the thing is, some of you Americans are bitchin' about free trade not working...or that a Global economy is not working... Its working out great! It made lots and lots and lots of money for American CEOs and American corporations. It also made some countries grow...to the detriment of American people? Sure... But the thing is...if that would not have happened, then the rest of the world would be America's bitch? Its OK for Americans to have the world as their bitch, just as how the Brits had their colonials... But in reality, it aint OK... America would be fighting wars in her homeland worse than Sept. 11 if that were the case. Just ask the Brits... You guys, fought for your independence from them after all... But the growth of other countries is not, should not, be a detriment to your own growth. This aint a political forum, and this is a thread about a Chinese autonomous tractor...lets leave it at that.
  22. Well...maybe. But not because of unmanned EV tractors. Like Balthy has said We've had that for a few years now. Mining trucks too. And Im sure the whole world over has had that. I mean....chinese built robotic home vacuums have flooded the market about a decade ago too... LG, Samsung, Roomba, Dyson... No biggie. What I fear though, is the education levels and the continued dummying down of our North American society that will lead us to our demise. And it be from our OWN doing. Not from outside foreign threats. We. We do it to ourselves.
  23. Yeah...but...THAT is the key to his defense... This reminds me of Howard Hughes. OK...I may not know Hughes' full story, but I got the gist of it through the movie and this is the scene Im talking about... And the real senate hearings are very close to how it happened in the movie. Ive listened to the real hearings on Youtube as well.. You know...if it werent illegal for him to have a CEO reserve and for him to use it as he saw fit...well... Like he said... Howard Hughes was a tad smarter than him though...Howard told it how it was and maybe how possibly still is... EVERYBODY DOES IT...AND UNLESS THERE IS A LAW AGAINST IT, IT AINT ILLEGAL...IF IT IT'S MORALLY NOT CORRECT DO IT, THEN THE POWERS THAT BE TO CHANGE THE LAWS TO BE ILLEGAL...AND THEN I AND EVERYBODY ELSE WILL CHANGE HOW THEY DO BUSINESS... Now...this is not the same as Goshn's situation. But like he said, let the lawyers figure it out what is legal and illegal to what he has done...
  24. Russians do it good too.
