  1. Even in 1999, it was butt ugly. James Bond himself could not make it look good. It was...square. Not only in style and design...but in personality too. Yuck. To boot, Q even dialed in the squareness of the E38 by making James Bond's 7 Series remote controlled.....OOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Real high tech and jaw dropping that is....all controlled by a phone....OOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! Considering that Michael Knight had a more advanced Trans Am ( OK...wrong F-Body...this one is the Chevy one) back in the 1980s doing exactly what that mid 1990s James Bond 7 Series did...I was hardly impressed with it...One sexy Bimmer from that era would be the Z8...now THAT was a Bond car... NO...not the little crappy one called the Z3...I said Z8... As far as the 4 cylinder thing going in a 7 Series...we should all get used to that kind of thing...CAFE is what is making automakers do this... Reminds me of the 1980s all over again in that GM 305 V8s barely made 180 HP with all that low compression necessity and catalytic converter BS was engineered into these motors because CAFE laws...not quite the same thing but the same thing... 180 HP pushing a 4000 lbs Chevy Caprice is hardly very sporty...even if V8...
  2. Thanx to you, I now know this version. But I think I'll stick with Sinead's version. Not because I like that version better or anything...its just that Sinead's version is part of my teenaged years...and we all know that songs from our youth...well, it dont get better than this...speaking of which... Im always working, slaving everyday. I gotta get a break from the same 'ol same 'ol. I need a chance just to get away If you could hear me think this is what I'd say Don't need nothin' but a good time How can I resist Ain't lookin' for nothin' but a good time And it don't get better than this
  3. You want me to cool it with the videos? Ill understand.
  4. Born and raised in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
  5. I tried to read it like a WWE announcer...but alls that I got going is this... Lets Get Ready To RUUUUUMMMMMBLE!!! and then my mind went to this and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NMvRnpDCzo and let me not forget this one...OOOOOH YEAH!!!
  6. Pop-up stores? Pop in 1 place...stick around for a couple of days...then pack up and leave and on to the next location? Kinda like a carnival/circus where all kinds of weird sideshow people entertain you? My my...is that how I should think about a Tesla Model S now? Like a freak show? Just kidding....That sounds like an interesting idea...but vacationing rich people...do they think about cars while on vacation enough to actually "waste" their vacation time looking to spend more money already on a vehicle purchase that they havent already thought of...because rich people...the car enthusiasts...or even the green enviro types...would have already bought themselves the "in" Tesla...the rest of the rich people....that havent bought a Tesla...yet...its because their current car has not been amortized yet....and while on vacation....I dont see them taking the time to crunch the numbers...you know...if its viable of them to spend money on a new...."toy" They are on vacation...after all... I dont know if you guys understand what I mean....but I made my opinion...if need be...Ill explain it better later...
  7. That is how she sounds like...she sounds kinda like a Tiger growling...
  8. I LOVE ELECTRICITY Reason #1 ZEUS and his lightning bolts Reason #2 Raijin...Japanese Mythology... (I love history) Raiden makes for very cool movie and video game characters. And... Why AC/DC of course!!! And how appropriate...THUNDERSTRUCK!!! and HIGH VOLTAGE
  9. Yeah...something like that...and much more.... Location identification and ransom and blackmail and stuff... Yeah...only in the movies, right? Well, I aint taking that chance...because sometimes art does imitate life...and there has been real life cases of what I fear...so...there is that. Anyhoo...in another random thought...my first "IGNORE POSTER" feature will be activated shortly...and I aint talking about you, Balthazar....I like you...a lot...the 442 helps but the 1940s Truck you have just makes me respect the crap outta you...you are a REAL car crazy guy...I like that
  10. Sorry Sauvi. I havent posted personal pics on the internets all this time...I aint gonna start now. "Identity theft and all things bad like that" phobia Ive got. The only personal pic Ive posted in my life was in these here forums with the Olds Alero.... I took a chance on that...since that pic was taken in 2000-2001 at my parents home....very hard for it to bite me in the butt.
  11. I FINALLY washed, detailed and waxed my car and my wife's car for the first time since winter ended.... I FINALLY got all the salt stains and grime and dirt and dust from both car's interiors the last 3-4 days. I AM EXHAUSTED! But I am THRILLED that both cars look GREAT, smell GREAT and I could be proud again driving them. And Trans Am...just because!
  12. Not necessarily, I have seen plenty of test mules where they stretched out the fenders to support a drive train truly meant for some other product but they wanted to throw off the Photo Hounds. This could be just such a test mule. Something for the CTS but they wanted to hide it so left off inner wheel well covers to test a drive train and in this case it could be the LS7 system for a new CTS-V Coupe maybe. yes...exactly...a product model of some sorts..."not necessarily an ATS" is what I should have continued on to say. But yeah...it seems like the LS7 might live on...
  13. Well, if it is indeed a test mule of some sorts...would not that mean that the LS7 will make it to a product model of some sorts? Things that make you go HMMMMM just the same...
  14. "Eltz Castle is a medieval castle nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany." Google is my friend. So I just dropped the image of that castle in the Google Image box...and Voila! Like magic... Id love to visit Germany one day. All of Europe actually. Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Hungary...ahem Monaco...(maybe a tad too rich for my blood), Austria...where Ill throw another shrimp on the Bar B... Sometimes I just crack myself up! (Ok...that joke was stolen from somewhere else...sue me!) On second thought...let me just reference it just in case...Dumb and Dumber...that joke comes from Dumb and Dumber... Ive been to Greece countless of times...but its nice to see other parts of the world, non?
  15. Here...a nicer pic of the C70 I liked this Volvo also...and I saw the movie when it first came out...movie sucked..I wanna say car rocked...but no...no it did not...the car really did nothing...it just sat there lookin' pretty...
  16. playboy
  17. For the good 'ol American life... For the money, for the glory and for the fun. Mostly for the money... Oh...I mentioned that I like this Bimmer...I actually do. I like it a lot. But I would rather 1. a 2016 Camaro 2. a 2016 Mustang GT350..and at only $47 000 American Dollars..its a NO BRAINER to choose the Mustang over this Bimmer!!! and I would rather this hommage car over the Bimmer...(youtube link below) Just my with a little bit of entertainment for ya'll.
  18. Are you ready to Do It Again, Taurus? You and I both, tried to Be True To Our School... But,we were both Shut Down from all the trolling and the crappy forum software problems Wouldnt it Be Nice if we could just post... And NOT be Wiped Out? Well, let the Good Vibrations roll In this new Surf City called Cheers and Gears... (OK..not a Beach Boy song...sorry) where hopefully there are two girls for every boy...we dont like sausage fests... :D Good to see you, Taurus...
  19. She is beautiful.... and you drag race her... She will definitely do. Like I said though, 7-8 years...possibly as long as 10...because I have a couple of financial obligations I have to meet before that dream becomes a reality. I would restomod her though...since she aint a '69 Hurst/Olds or a '70 442...parts matching '69 or '70. I dont know if you can wait that long...
  20. I gave you a "thumbs up" for that. While I aint ready to buy just yet..give me another 7-8 years....my house has to get paid up first. But SURE...Im DEFINITELY a buyer! In what kind of condition is she in? Speaking of a custom car of someone's own design.... I have another dream...to build myself a Ford T-Bucket Hot Rod or a '33 Ford Roadster Hot Rod with a Greek and a Canadian theme...to reflect who I am...
  21. Like that castle! Me too. That castle inspired me to have the Acropolis of Athens as my signature.
  22. I wouldn't worry to much. But on some instances, it is appropriate.
  23. 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Tied for 1st place 1969 Hurst/Oldsmobile H/0 455 However...when one is accustomed to modern vehicles.....a restomod 1969/1970 Cutlass with modern everything...suspensions and engines and interior creature comforts...engine supplied by Chevy...LSX crate motor, etc...to look like a Hurst/Olds or 442 will do. Like Balthazar said about his Caddy....I could drive a restomod 442 forever.
  24. He lives above the snow-belt of the snow-belt. Then Miata with a Hardtop with studded tires.
