  1. i was looking through trying to tally up the rebates for the D3 and they appear a little worse for Ford than they are... example.. 2017 Ford Fusion, Ford Fusion Hybid, Ford Fusion Energi. The 2017 Transit Connect is listed on there 3 times. but they also have it broken down to Transit Connect. Transit Connect Commercial, Transit Connect Wagon. So they have the Transit Connect listed 11 times. Some are 2016's and all of the variations then 2017's and all the variations totaling 11. And I'll await your proof in the future then.
  2. Yeah, no sh!t. What's that have to do with GM or FCA? Wasn't that an original comparison? Oh, no. It was that FCA has as much as anybody else, or some sh!t like that.
  3. Trucks have always had massive rebates and always will on specific trims. The High Countries and Platinums will make up for those 10-12k rebates on SLT and XLT trims. I don't know why you're just fighting facts. Surreal posted a very fair 3rd party research.
  4. There's also not much haggling on new cars anymore. Dealerships can't afford to mark them up all that much which is why the big rebates are typically manufacturer rebates. Welcome to the auto market. Is this something new to you?
  5. I haven't looked but those are usually only on specific trims, but I could be wrong. They'll do that to lower trims to get you in the doors...
  6. @surreal1272 Do you still have that link? I have no clue what thread that was in.
  7. How is that equal to or higher? FCA's is higher. 2250 > 2000 Zipcode has already been discussed.. that's obviously regional marketing and that's why the original article @surreal1272 posted a couple weeks ago was the only logical comparison as it was manufacturer only across all vehicles. It wasn't a nit-picky regional marketing ploy. I could cherry pick almost any make's rebates at a certain time and location to win an argument if that was the case. Surreal's was a monthly average by the manufacturer themselves, no dealer added BS.
  8. Holy sh!t... I'm glad she's okay! I've always wondered about some of those nasty pot holes out there.. Always wondered if they ever immediately took out wheels/tires/suspension components.. that would be a yes. I know I've seen and heard of them taking out low profile tires and denting wheels but I hadn't see this kind of damage due to a pot hole. I wonder if you could go after the state looking for them to cover repair costs for neglecting roads or having poorly maintained roads with too high of a speed limit for the conditions of the road?
  9. It's also $21,000 less expensive. For 21k extra it better have all of those extra things.
  10. No worries. http://blog.caranddriver.com/to-hell-with-that-fiat-chrysler-denies-chrysler-300-hellcat-report/?src=socialflowFB&mag=cdb&dom=fb
  11. Lol wtf did I say here about sales being up or down? @dfelt only tag relevant members. Hahaha
  12. Classic Alfa.. "Some also found the Alfa’s Italian electrics a little buggy, ..." MT's Best Driver's Car talking about the Quadrifoglio.
  13. Silly Drew... It's a Jeep! It's a good way to get out of ditches too!
  14. Sad but true... The US has a couple hundred G Wagens in their military.
  15. Personally, I would as well. A Sport Supercharged, please.
  16. Who would have thought YOU would daily a Camaro and it was somehow a great daily driver? The trunk opening is like 13 inches or some sh!t on those. You either paid for people to ship everything to your house or you're lying because those are not great daily drivers. You can make it happen but they are far from ideal. Because it's her vehicle, not mine. Unlike you, I don't force my significant other to buy products I like. But I have told her she should get something more practical because there's definitely more practical vehicles out there. They've had two transmissions replaced(or rebuilt - I don't know, I didn't pay or schedule anything), air suspension replaced, two alternators, and at least one window motor failing. I agree with you, and that's why I said it seems German under the hood. I've known plenty of chevy truck owners with identical setups that ran just fine. The Hummer H2 though, has been nothing but a bag of sh!t.
  17. Speaking of sh!t... H2? They have one of those that her parents drive daily.. biggest POS. I never would have expected it to be a GM product because it's constantly having problems either dying or not starting. It almost seems German under the hood. Nah, jsut saying that if they build such bags of sh!t that at least they know how to sell bags of sh!t. Cadillac should be writing down some notes on "how to sell vehicles". She bought it before I knew her. She had an ML before. Shes definitely a brand snob though.. Who would have thought a G Wagen owner was a brand snob? lol
  18. Everybody just loses their car enthusiast touch when they come into contact with a vehicle brand why don't like? We all love the irresponsible vehicles, this is another one. Nobody dreams of 100-200k sports cars? So what this is overpriced. So is a Mclaren and Ferrari. Any luxury branded car ever created is overpriced when you could build some mustang or camaro for cheaper and daily drive a Camry for practicality. Yeah for 5k I could go buy a CRV and it would "get the job done". I'd also never consider a 2 door sports car because those are too impractical. C'mon guys. All the brand biases aside, it's a cool vehicle that's as old school as they come these days that, if the owner would ever choose to, can do some serious off-roading.
  19. We've moved furniture in one. We will do quite a bit of that with new home ownership. And every mustang plows crowds, right?
  20. I wish I was either further south or further north because we get just enough snow to necessitate at least an all season tire(or no season) because it gets plenty cold for months at a time but not really enough snow to justify a good winter set.
