  1. I had a Yaris for almost a month as a rental. F. U. C. K. That.
  2. They're good vehicles. I sure enjoyed mine. It didn't do anything to blow me away but it didn't seem to falter anywhere either. I guess it did require a light foot to get advertised fuel economy but with that I did better than advertised.. not by much but a little.
  3. Sorry I meant that the Benz sized GLS somewhat had the segment to themselves. They have no reason to enter into the larger Escalade's segment.
  4. Sadly, I don't think I would take any Subaru over any US benz. I'd rather a slow CLA or GLA over a super dated STi. Yeah, they wouldn't win any races but they'd be better daily drivers and still not legitimately slow.
  5. Ford lists on their site "max." FWIW In their defense, that seems like a smart move on teir part. They had the segment almost to their selves and still do when it comes to the AMG version.
  6. Haha thanks! Hopefully that will get some of the politicians to get more on board with the EV charging stations!
  7. Can you guess which is the itty bitty GLS and which is the 2018 Expedition/ 'Gator? For 73k one can get a smaller, less capable GLS with 362hp/369tq that can tow 7500lbs max or larger, more capable Navigator with a 450hp/510tq engine that can tow 9300/9000lbs and a 10spd transmission. _______________________________________________ I don't think Lincoln is worried about the GLS at all. They're worried more about the 'Slade and the prestige that follows its name.
  8. If it's as good as some of the early reviews have made it sound, it seems like it will eat at least a little into all of the large SUV sales, regardless of brand.
  9. OOOOOORRRRRRR the Navigator could take a bite out of GLS sales too. That goes for both parties.
  10. Obviously it would need to be repaired though.. but even repaired it isn’t owned by the lessee. It’s like trading in a rental.. I’m legitimately confused about this and not trying to be a douche or anything.
  11. But you don't own it and you have zero equity in it. That's why I don't understand it. What are they giving you for it? How can anybody give you anything for it that isn't only a VW dealership? And even them, I wouldn't think they could give you anything for it but they could take it back without penalty, if they choose.
  12. Give STL a wave as you fly over!
  13. If it is a lease why do you care about its value? You don't have to worry about trade-in value or anything, that's already sorted out in the lease agreement. Also, how do you go about getting rid of a lease early?
  14. No, I meant between the A3 and the Sport, the two you were/are considering.
  15. Absolutely! Nailed it! I assume that also falls in the Explorer's territory then, size-wise?
  16. Had to look up the GLS vs Expedition/Max dimensions(assuming Navigator will be the same but I can't find those listed yet).. Length GLS: 202in Expedition: 210in Max: 220in Width GLS: 76in Expedition/Max: 83.6in (mirrors folded)
  17. I love when the Euro fanboys always compare the much smaller GLS to the Escalade and Navigator as if they're genuinely competitive. I don't think Lincoln gives two $h!s about the GLS. To get Gator power in a GLS you have to start by dropping 95k. Then if the owner plans to use it for any real people moving(assuming 5+ people regularly), family vacationing, towing anything(1800lb advantage),
  18. Ahhhh damn, glad you're okay though! What's the difference between the two cars..?
  19. I know it'll be all bad-ass and all but that front fascia sucks.. It looks like one of those kids who doesn't know how to smile yet..
  20. Oh man, I wish! If I wasn't in the midst of a building/home renovation I would be way more interested in this. Having to buy appliances, furniture, TV, flooring, etc, etc... keeps a new car out of the budget for awhile yet.. What are your Sports going for?
  21. I agree with everything you said up until this point.. Machines don't have 3-5 weeks of vacation days a year and/or sick days nor will they be broken down THAT much. Yes, they'll break and be down at times but I can't see them being out a month's worth of time in a year.
  22. I'm really surprised Chicago hasn't influenced IL to need EV's yet. They're, what, the 3rd largest city?
  23. I knew it wasn't 200+ but I looked it up out of curiocity and the 2018's are rocking a 125 mile range.. weak for 30k. There would be no way I could take that over a GTI...yet. Gas prices spike, price drops some.. and it immediately becomes much more enticing. Of course I'd still want more than a 125 mile range.
  24. Saw one i these in the basement of our parking garage.. like where executives only park. I had never been there because it’s a completely different entrance and exit but I was just walking/stretching my legs and managed my way down there and boom. First two vehicle i saw were a 650i and a Range Rover HSE near the Tesla charger.
