  1. Other than the shet spoiler it looks so similar I have no issue with it. It looks just fine.
  2. That's so relative though.. because people don't NEED a lot of the shet they buy and pay for and then complain about not making enough money for food, car, housing. I also don't think minimum wage should be a wage in which people are content with. By keeping it lower than it "should" be it should make people want to better themselves and be better employees looking for promotions. Also, if you bump minimum wage up all the big corporations will do is increase prices and then that new minimum will be back at the same spot. McDonald's will increase prices, Walmart will increase prices then things will still be unaffordable for those people.
  3. That was my thought as well. Unless it was 100% paid in cash to the point they are getting their money NOW but either way they'd be getting a check from the finance company for the full price. Either way.. what is your opinion on what I should ask for and pay for that?
  4. I actually dig the wheels. I've always liked that "style". While it's an OEM and nothing special I like this design over their "snowflake" designs. I actually don't like light interiors but because this is just the seats I think it looks awesome. And they're leather so they can't be that tough to keep clean, right? Bummer the PDK was a let down but I would think that car would be amazing with their 7spd manual. It just seems like the "right" thing for such a sporty car. Oh, did you get any ice that way yesterday?? Way over in IL it was just wet all night..
  5. What do you think I should offer? Put into consideration I'll be putting about 11k down on it.
  6. What's a fair wage to you? also, there is only one position in walmart(unless it's changed in the 2 years I've been gone) that pays minimum and that's the cart pushers.
  7. Couldn't eliminating free shet for people who aren't deserving potentially pay for said road work?
  8. That does need to get cleaned up next. It seems like all too many of them are puffing black smoke under acceleration. seems relatively simple to make a standard across the board,
  9. Exactly my point.. That's roughly a month of driving taken away.
  10. Yes, please explain a better way to get information on a vehicle that you did not own from the beginning? It lets you know if the vehicle was in an accident or insurance claims against it along with maintenance. Personally, the maintenance side isn't an issue as I prefer doing my own work which wouldn't be on them anyway nor am I buying a car with 100k miles so under 40k miles There isn't a whole lot of required maintenance other than oil changes.
  11. It kind of is though. I mean people buy EVs to save money not because they are just awesome vehicles to drive. Until the Bolt they were small, compact, not much space and cost a good premium over a similarly sized gasoline car so to tax them more per year is only making it harder to justify the purchase. I know it is a really small amount(I think they said like $30 a year) but it's something and I don't know how far $30 in electricity will get you but it's probably a good distance.
  12. It isn't easier than just not making a product. It isn't like any of these companies NEED to make small Diesel engines. Or it isn't like they don't charge a premium for them. Just make the product compliant or don't make it. It's pretty much the most simple concept out there.
  13. I agree but that doesn't mean companies should put out products knowingly failing emissions testing(without a form of cheat). That's just stupid.
  14. So don't make a diesel vehicle if you can't follow the laws put in place. Nobody is forcing VW or FCA to produce a diesel Ram 1500 or Golf with a TDI engine.
  15. Somebody trying to drive a vehicle for free for a couple of years, get a settlement check, or a new car on the cheaps.
  16. Great call! They had the "auto check" that is essentially the same..I think.. for free. This is what I currently have my eyes on..CAR
  17. Oh I've always gotten one with a purchase but I was hoping to not have to drive like and hour and a half to get to the dealer. It's an hour and 41 minutes from my house via googlemaps. 109 miles. I could always just tell them I kind of need to see it before driving that far or considering the car too.
  18. Does anybody subscribe to Carfax?
  19. Yes, back in the 80's, 90's and early 00's there was shet management from them all and that's why everybody needed money to have their asses saved in 2007-2009. This is a different era. This is an era in which companies needed to trim fat and streamline manufacturing. Become efficient or go under. Adapt to the market or go under. Adapt to regulations or go under. Make products that people want or go under. They learned so much with the Dart that they..nope.. did the same with the 200 also.. Maybe they didn't learn yet. Maybe they learned enough from those that they could release the Renegade/500L without issues...nope.. not there either.. Maybe they learned enough at this point that they can make a good product AND get it out on a reasonable schedule. Reasonable, as in, not years of delay.
  20. Luckily the delays you showed us aren't a sign of a shet company/management of said company but rather production or supplier issues of a completed product. 30 days is acceptable... 1-2 years.. eehhh
  21. No offense to Stew but I don't think he read the articles but rather found the first Ford articles mentioning delay and went with them. The RS and Raptor were also an issue like the SD in which the PRODUCT was completed not delayed. Yes, technically it was delayed but there is a huge difference in how/why those Fords were delayed and the FCA products were.
  22. Special editions? I mean I guess they are delays but it is after the F150 and Focus have been out. In FCA's case they would be delaying the Focus and the F150 from the beginning. That Super duty article was delaying the launch of it but the product was completed and driven in a review. Not pushing back the whole Super Duty project a year or more.
  23. They just so happen to FCA more than anybody else... What was the last GM or Ford vehicle delayed?
  24. I have to agree.. too much here-say to believe anything to the 'T' at this point. Because there is a Ranger/Bronco vehicle already out there that they are utilizing for the 2019/2020 vehicles. So the test mules are likely either; not needing additional testing as they already have a Ranger or completely undisguised in other countries with different things under sheet metal(aluminum?). It isn't that they are putting them out together it is the fact that they had to delay yet another product that is worrisome. I have no issue at all with them coming out together or the timeframe in which the current gen has been out for. It's that it was scheduled for a certain length and got pushed back like a few other products have been as well.
