  1. ...Audi is European...
  2. I think it looks "okay". Nothing flashy or special but that's how VW does things. I'm fine with that simplicity. I'm just not sure how I feel about the engine choices. I know Ford tried to use a 2.0T 4cyl in the Explorer and it was a failure and this seems to be the same thing. It was 240hp/270tq. I can't see this being significantly lighter than the Explorer to benefit from that same power ratings. The jump to the 2.3T and 280hp/310tq is more what's necessary for a 3 row SUV. A n/a V6(nearly an inline6) can't be all that much better... I think it's safe to assume it will be the same as in the Touareg = 280hp/266tq and in that it get's an outstanding 1mpg better combined than an Explorer w/ the 3.5EB.
  3. It would be hard to look at anything other than the JGC SRT.
  4. 18 cubic feet behind the rear seats of the Mecan? Why not just buy a Cayman with that kind of space. That's just a tad over half of the cargo space in my Escape and the Jag. I know I don't need a lot of space but that's legitimately small. The Trunk of a fusion is 16cu.ft., Malibu 15.8, Camry 15.4, etc.. I know I'm picking at something small but people do buy these for their space and that number just doesn't make sense to me. Gimme the Jag because it looks better and makes more sense. If I were actually spending my own money I think it would be between the F-Pace and an AMG GLC 43
  5. Yeah I've owned a black car and in the right(wrong) weather and time of year every day is what it would take. Winter or the times of year when farmers are doing whatever to their fields and there's just a ton of dust in the air.. I would wash my car about every Sunday and it could have easily been twice a week to keep it looking how I wanted.
  6. AB-SO-LUTELY! As long as the owner is willing to wash it once a week and keep it looking clean, best color "combo" out there.
  7. I think it would be great to have over here in the states but it seems like places that could utilize this best are kind of too built up to be able to build a second roadway for this. To put this in the DC area would require double roads in a lot of places, just like any other city. I think it is a GREAT idea but I feel like the city has to grow around something like this rather than plop this onto a city.
  8. lol I didn't even mean to post a C6.. I didn't even think about it when I got excited about how awesome this one looks.
  9. I'd love for them to bring them here in the half ton size and have Ford Platinus and Limiteds, GMC Denalis, Ram Limiteds all put it shame.
  10. Definitely tires. There are a lot of those out there.
  11. Oh he WANTS 2 sets of wheels??? Stupid, imo... I see what you're talking about now, my bad.
  12. No, I understand that. But as you rotate them from one side of the vehicle to the other they won't look funny. They will match the wheel that is already there. All 4 wheels are the same. I also never said there weren't directional wheels.. I even posted a picture OF directional wheels.
  13. Or... Maybe Ford foresaw a $h! storm brewing and jumped the gun getting cash..?
  14. lol You guys..aren't right.. Lay them all flat on the ground and they all are the same wheel. They will be different on both sides of the vehicle but you will never notice the difference rotating them. This is a less exaggerated wheel but the same thing is going on here.
  15. Ahhhh the AMG GT starts at 111k! Well I've always loves the F-Type R as well. It definitely isn't the best or fastest in this price range but it's the prettiest to me and nastiest sounding. It would be so hard to pass up 650hp/tq in a Z06 though. Ideally, with this much coin I would buy a used ZR1 and then a base mustang GT or what not but that's not in the scenario..lol Or a GT350 and a "regular" vette even. 55k+55k. I think I'd take a loaded up Z06 and a few sets of tires to go with it.
  16. Well you sir are just wrong...
  17. +1 (because I used all of mine up)
  18. Believe it or not, this does happen. I worked in a shop for 3 years and every single vehicle that came in we were supposed to correct tire pressure and it wouldn't be some super rare event that a car or truck would come in with OE wheels and tires and they were a different size from the placard but still an OE setup. Not sure where the error was but there were too many and on cars people didn't care about to have just been an owner swapping wheels.
  19. For 18k more I would have the Sport and a used Fiesta ST or something. I like it but I couldn't justify 18k more.
  20. Very interesting, indeed. That tire shouldn't make it or break it to an M5. I definitely see your point.. but the same can be said when they test near 50k mustangs and Camaros. Very few in owners hands are that loaded up but that's what they get to test because you're showing off the best of the best for the car.
  21. Just start banning people. If they're causing you headache on your own site, screw it, ban them. If I cause you continuous headache, ban me. This is your place, Drew. Don't let anybody make you not enjoy your own website.
  22. @Stew Quite the pony car lineup.
  23. Are we just quoting the article now? "Rounding out the top ten list include Audi, Kia, Mazda, Hyundai, Infiniti (up 16 spots), BMW, and Honda." Ha. Shows how credible this report is when AUDI finishes 4th.
  24. EXACTLY! That's why I hate these so much. They're just very inaccurate.
  25. I just enjoy the lines and curves of the MB over the Colorado. I just don't think the Colorado is that good looking of a truck when compared to it's sibling, GMC, or the Tacoma.
