I guess for some reason I was thinking Escape and not the EcoSport. Or just anything larger would have troubles opening in a closed garage.
-
I wish my Escape had that! The last gen Escapes had that and I think it is a great idea. But can it be opened with the garage door closed? So many advantages and disadvantages of the swinging door. I'm kind of up in the air about it as of now.

Well I wanted a Canyon but to be honest I just wanted to find something different. The Hilux is super ugly compared to the Tacoma we get here otherwise the diesel version of that would have been a no-brainer because I love how it looks. The X3 was just kind of the daily/larger vehicle used for any form of people or "things" hauling. I'd LOVE a GTD! Such a cool concept, performance oriented diesel car. Way cool to me.

Well they did say in the presentation last night that this is the first all new Super Duty in 18 years so I guess it was time for it. I didn't realize how old the bones were from the last generation.

What Would You Buy Instead: Buick Encore Edition
ccap41 replied to Frisky Dingo's topic in The Lounge
Well 3 vehicles stand out to me over the Encore and Casa nailed it! If I can get the Bolt that is easily the one. If not, I'm inbetween the CX-3 and the Renegade. Completely opposite vehicles in terms of one is sporty on road and the other is sporty off-road. But honestly, if I had 30k for a SUV/SUV I think I'd step up a class to the CX-5/Escape/CR-V/Cherokee size. I built a Grand Touring, AWD, CX-5 for $29,900. This makes me think the Buick is a little over priced but then again they only send magazines their top trim plus additional options. If it really came down to it I might sacrifice AWD for the Tech package because LED lights just look so damn cool. @Frisky Dingo Is this step up in class size allowed? If so, this is exactly like the one I built online. Grand Touring in a dark grey. -
There it is! I'm surprised it took that long to get a Fiesta ST and a Miata in there! I thought those two were gimmies.
-
I could see the ups and downs to it. The thing that I wouldn't like is just parking in general in a parking lot. I feel like there isn't enough room for somebody to park behind you and open your tailgate. I think it really depends on the owners' needs and what they use it for.
-
Really? Why is it that much better? I noticed it and thought it was a really neat/different feature but I didn't really know why they would do that? Or what the benefit of a swinging hatch or a liftgate.
-
Not bad but not great looking. I think the CX-3 looks best in the segment still. I hope the 1.0T has enough ass to lug around a less aerodynamic CUV as opposed to a car. I would bet the 2.0 will be the volume engine as it just sounds better suited.

Personally, I would have thrown a minivan into the SUV category based on it's "utility".

I too was surprised by the GLC. I expected it to go to either the Model X or the F-Pace.

I would actually like to know what cars everybody does drive. I'd like to see who has the nuts to not drive American made steel and who's driving hybrids n such.

What Would You Buy Instead: Porsche 911 R Edition
ccap41 replied to Frisky Dingo's topic in The Lounge
Those weren't limited in the same manner as this though, right? Like this was set out to only make and sell 500 units while those other ones were just low production numbers. Or am I just wrong? lol -
lol I will downvote you just to get you under 100! hahaha NEWS FLASH!! Politicians ARE CRIMINALS!! THEIVES, ASSHOLES, LIARS, etc. That's one reason people voted for Trump. People didn't want a politician. Nobody trusts politicians. I'm not saying Trump isn't an asshole or a liar but he wasn't a politician until now.
-
I don't know a single Trump supporter(not that they aren't out there) that actually wanted to get rid of and change the marriage laws to not allow gay marriage. Most Trump supporters I knew wanted other things he stood for. I knew he wouldn't ban gay marriage after it's been legalized in however many states. That would have been absurd and made no sense.

I actually have no clue what I'm registered.. it's either independent or republican but I think it's stupid to even register anything other than independent now. I registered 10 years ago(18) so I don't remember.

What Would You Buy Instead: Porsche 911 R Edition
ccap41 replied to Frisky Dingo's topic in The Lounge
Ohhhh haha well I guess I was just going with their available colors. I wonder if they would do anything special for such a limited run or just basically say, "you get grey or white and red or green stripes and that's it". -
