Review of the 2016 Mazda CX-9 from an existing CX-9 owner
Nice review! I think Mazda's sales problem is attributed to a lack of a dealer network compared to those other brands mentioned. I know on my way to a Mazda dealership I probably pass 3 Ford/GM dealers and probably 1-2 Nissan/Toyota dealerships and where the Mazda dealership there are all of the above together anyway.

Chevrolet News:2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback To Start At $22,190*
By mocking the Toyota products you're basically just saying you're biased against them and your argument is useless because it is too opinion based. "better" X Y and Z but nothing about that is factual. I think the only one that is a hands-down winner is the Silverado over the Tundra and that's mostly because of the multitude of variations that the Silverado is available in. You also conveniently skilled over one of their most dominant vehicles in its own market, the Pruis. I'm honestly not saying one is better than the other and at the same time, that is my point. To you, the entire GM lineup crushes the Toyota lineup. To some body else it could be completely flipped. And, with the Cruze being brand new, it should be ahead in most measurable categories. To us, we would rather a conventional auto transmission, to non-enthusiasts, they would likely just prefer the seamless CVT junk that we can't stand. Just playing a little Devil's advocate here, brother.

"better" In what way(s)? That's a subjective thing to say and that alone means they cannot price their cars above the competition. There are just too many variables in a decision making process for spending tens of thousands of dollars on a car that one brand and car will never be "better" across the entire board. It just isn't possible. Okay, it's possible if the competition just decided to give up but that is not realistic.

Or they could just make a superior product and let the product sell itself.. it will be a long road but with a price advantage and a superior product they would own the market, hands down. If the product truly is the best then it is only a matter of time before the own the market, if it isn't then it won't.

Holy Crap The Ford GT Is On Pole For Le Mans!

Great video. It told me some things to think about that hadn't crossed my mind, like strapping the ramps to the truck. Loading the bike at my house will be super duper easy. I have a very steep driveway that I can back up to and with the tail gate down, practically walk the bike onto the truck without a ramp. When I had my 2003 Avalanche, I loaded heavy things into the bed this way many times, so I know that it lines up right. It's the Florida end that will be the problem. That's awesome you have a driveay set-up for loading and unloading a bike. That makes it much much easier. Yeah I never thought about strapping the ramps to the truck either. I thought that was a fantastic idea. And just how he walked the bike up. It seemed to effortless.

Ramps. But it's the only way I'll get it down to Florida.Front of front tire to middle of rear tire is 76.5" Yeah ramps still just suck getting a bike into the bed of a truck. We used ramps to get my Daytona into the bed of a Silverado when I picked it up and it just always seems sketchy. Why not drive it down to Florida?!?! Well it sounds like it will fit with a little maneuvering it around if you put the front wheel in one of the corners, but the tailgate will have to be down. Wouldn't I put it along the center line of the truck? Why not drive it down? I"m a new rider and don't want to be on the bike for 1,200 miles. I want to stay down there for 2 or 3 weeks at a time, and being only on a motorcycle wouldn't work. I found Bikes Corner to Corner work out very well in truck beds. Load it up say on the left side of the tail gate and wheel it into the passenger right corner and strap it down. For short beds that always worked best for me. That's what we've always done. I did it for my Daytona and my current two-wheeled toy... Honda PCX125. SCOOTER! lol

Holy Crap The Ford GT Is On Pole For Le Mans!
Lucky you! I didn't catch any footage. Travelling for Fathers Day weekend, crabbing and halibut fishing ( and eating crab and halibut ) with my pop, had me checking in for updates only. Dang, bummer on the race part but it sounds like a good day overall! I got to watch a good amount saturday in between things at home and the gym but they stopped coverage I think at 4pm then they had two short 30 minute bits at 5-30pm and 6-30pm and when I looked on our guide I didn't see anything until the conclusion that started coverage back at like 3 or 4am till 9am. I woke up at like 930 and was disappointed I missed the finish, especially after what I heard happened to Toyota.

I had to google to find out the correct way to load it because I've also never had to move one 1200 miles. I think the longest I had to transport a bike was my Daytona from Colombia, MO to home which is only 150 miles so we were a little less concerned about the long haul and we got out after about 30 minutes to double check and make sure everything was still snug and secure. Aaaaaanyway... my point of this post is the video. I never had a front wheel block that they have which is why we wedged it into the corner of the bed.- Motorcycles

Completely understandable. They honestly just make more sense with the added space for a car that will get the same mpg and basically cost the same...but you get more room. I love the hatch design. I don't agree with only offering a premium trim level, unless it is just a first year thing like Surreal suggested, because they will make it unattainable for some in a class of vehicle that was once marketed around the cheap and affordable.- Motorcycles
What about tailgate down? I think you'd need the measurement from the front of the front wheel to the "wheelbase" measurement of the rear to make sure it'll fit. Sounds like it might be pretty tight. But anytime I've loaded a bike in a bed we put the front wheel in one of the front corners so it's kindof wedged in there real tight and also gives you some extra room. Also, it will be a bastard to load that heavy bike up into an Avalanche.- Motorcycles

It's premature to assume these things until we see what it comes with standard. "It should be noted that the hatchback isn't offered in the base L or LS trims like the sedan. The more apt comparison would the Cruze LT sedan which begins at $20,695. Comparing the prices of the LT models sees a difference of $1,495." You're definitely right but that sucks that you're again forced into a package if you want a hatch. A lot of people like the added space and ability of a hatch and you have to pony up a few grand more for Chevy's as opposed to those others listed. Not everybody wants or can afford the creature comforts but need the space of a hatch.- Holy Crap The Ford GT Is On Pole For Le Mans!

You really don't know anything about the series and you just sound ignorant. Regardless of how perfect a car is the series will level the field by pulling power, adding weight and vise versa for the competition so it doesn't really matter how great a car is because the series is aimed at a competitive racing otherwise it would be like watching F1 where the same team wins/leads at every track. It might switch from year to year but like this year Mclaren Mercedes is winning just about everything(if they don't take each other out). And because you don't follow the sport, it's pretty obvious your intentions in this thread. Not to actually discuss the topic but to try and bash a brand(the same one you do at every turn). Follow the sport and don't look like a douche next time.- Chevrolet News:2017 Chevrolet Cruze Hatchback To Start At $22,190*
- Quadruple Amputee to run in the 24hrs of Le Mans
"This year’s Garage 56 entry, the No. 84 SRT41 by OAK Racing, is a Morgan LMP2 modified for a quadruple amputee to share with two drivers, perSportscar365. While Garage 56 is a one-car class for innovative cars, the No. 84 ran faster than two of the regular LMP2s with a 3:45.178. " http://blackflag.jalopnik.com/first-le-mans-qualifying-session-puts-a-sandbag-free-fo-1782063033 (Thanks to Bong for the link) Then I had to look up the car/driver because hearing quadruple amputee sprung my attention. This was last October: "Quadruple amputee Frederic Sausset will take part in next year’s 24 Hours of Le Mans as a Garage 56 entrant, with his “SRT 41” program having been formally launched this week in France. (En Français) Sausset, who lost all four limbs following a bacterial infection in 2012, will team with Christophe Tinseau and a third, yet-to-be-confirmed driver in a specially adapted Morgan LMP2 car that’s received the backing of a number of influential players in the sport. “It’s been a long road since July 2012,” Sausset told Endurance-Info. “The accident was a traumatic experience for me, my family and relatives. We had to take on all of that." http://sportscar365.com/lemans/lemans24/quad-amputee-sausset-launches-2016-garage-56-entry/ Really freakin' awesome that this is a thing. Congrats to him and his team to even making the field let alone running some good lap times. Not overall competitive but they aren't the slowest in their class. - Motorcycles
