  1. Cadillac just needs more vans to keep up with Mercedes. Vans and box trucks. C'mon Cadillac!!!! GET ON THAT!!!
  2. Does Dodge or even Ram have anything that's even remotely new at this point?
  3. The people who don't have Jag dealers near them... Not the mention the people who don't want Jaguar maintenance after the warranty runs out. That was number 2 on the reasons I wouldn't want a Jag but if I was buying brand new I wouldn't be overly concerned about that part. That's more what I, personally, would worry about as I'm more of a 2nd hand car purchaser where I probably won't have much, if any, warranty remaining.
  4. The people who don't have Jag dealers near them...
  5. No third choice. These are it. Take 'em or leave 'em. Topless American woman during spring break or curvy (but not in this case) red headed Italian supermodel... I gotta admit, I dont know too much about this car. Its a stunner though. Looks great being seen or driven in next to a Mediterranean Boardwalk. Red headed Italian girl??? I don't think that's a real thing. I know nothing about the Alfa but the coupe form looks 10X better than the 'vert. I'd take the coupe Alfa over the T-Bird and the 'vert Alfa but if it isn't allowed then I'll still roll around in the feminie T-Bird. But I'll cut all exhaust and make it obnoxious as F.
  6. No clue.. lol Ask somebody who bought a Ram.
  7. To be honest, I think it looks pretty good.. Fancy? Doubt it. But I think it looks pretty good from that shot. I have a feeling the rear end will look a little out of place because that rear tire looks to be pretty close to the cab meaning short wheelbase..meaning frumpy proportions.. But the from proportions look decent so maybe not. I think they sold out for dollars when they made the CLA and GLA.. This is a little more icing on the cake. ..Mmmm..cake..
  8. If the original Fusion wasn't based on the Mazda 6 it wouldn't have been nearly as successful. Food for thought......... Exactly. Why do some Ford fans forget that Ford made their living just like that for twenty years with Mazda? Sales from both did not suffer as a result of them "selling against each other" so why would this? Answer? It doesn't. I'm all for multiple brands/companies working together to give us consumers a better project as long as it benefits both parties, ala 9sp and 10sp transmissions GM and Ford are working on and there are probably hundreds of other examples that was just the first one to pop in my head.
  9. Both are pretty hideous in my opinion.. One is all round and bubbly and the other had lines and creases but no curves to accentuate the lines. I can't find much on the Alfa but the Thunderbird does have a V8... Any V8 sounds better than anything that isn't a V8 and without knowing what the Alfa has..I'll go T-Bird. But man o man do I hate how roundy and bubbly they are.. such a feminine look to them.
  10. Not if the quality of materials, fit n finish is not there and it does not scream luxury. In your opinion, have you detected anything through either picture or a journalist's remark (someone who has experienced it in person) that would suggest that this new Lincoln will not have quality materials, fit or finish? What I see, is continuous improvement in a brand that is delivering on product, but is a step or two behind in perception. I bet this Continental will immensely help on the latter. 11. Your attempts to rile me up are laughable. The ATS essentially replace the CTS in the Cadillac line and only the name goes back to what the second gen CTS was. The CTS currently is for all intents the STS from before. Thus.. no coupe. IN terms of sales the product mix: 2011 Coupe 27% 2011 Sedan 70% 2011 Wagon 3% 2012 Coupe 27% 2012 Sedan 70% 2012 Wagon 4% 2013 Coupe 29% 2013 Sedan 68% 2013 Wagon 3% 2014 Coupe 29% 2014 Sedan 69% 2014 Wagon 2% with almost 30% going to coupe sales 2011 55,042 2012 46,979 2013 32,343 2014 31,115 Means that almost 15K were coupe sales in 2011. BMW's 3series sales, when it was a coupe and convertible were 15% of that mix. Meaning that Cadillac sold almost double.. by percentage.. of CTS Coupes than BMW did coupes and convertibles combined Now go post a video or something clown While correct in % but with 3 series roughly doubling, in 2011, CTS sales at 94,153(and the ratio worsens beyond 2011 as CTS drop and 3 rise) they would still be selling the same total number of 3 Series coupes(now 4Series). They can just amortize the costs better and make a better business case for variants...which in my opinion they are way beyond number of choices at this point.. 3 Series Grand Turisno? One of the ugliest vehicles ever made. Proportions are dog $h!.
  12. The CTS Coupe stopped production in 2013 only leaving the CTS-V Coupe in production til the 2nd quarter of 2014. That might explain some of those numbers... as it wasn't even being produced in 2015, and just selling off what was left. That makes sense then, thank you. Makes sense why there was such a drop of from year to year when I was looking at the numbers. Big difference.
  13. Well 30% of nothing is still nothing! I kid I kid.. Okay well we can compare random month and year sales for comparison to see if it is actually good. August 2015 CTS Sales: 1730 * .3 = 519 CTS Coupes sold 4 Series: 2940 Cars sold Just numbers... Does the CTS and 3/4 series compete..Ehhh I feel like the CTS Coupe is kind of a tweener size.. but the previous gen I'd say was definitely closer to the current 4 Series.
  14. Luckily this is an opinion based thread and nobody can be wrong!
  15. One of my best friends just bought a 2015 Fiesta ST. I'm pretty freakin stoked to get to drive it!
  16. If I'm not mistaken the e-Golf is the same way. I tried to shop around for one just for the heck of it to see prices and they are nowhere near me.
  17. X2
  18. ..GuestDave.. that was a 10 year old post..lol You should sign up and join the daily community here at CnG!
  19. Just different approaches.. especially concerning size. I mean one could make the same assessment coming out of a 535 and getting into a 335i. Also.. in terms of fuel economy.. as far as I kno.. the Cruze will be stopping at 30/35/42, while the Malibu does have a hybrid pulling in 47/46/46 and a 0-60 time in the exact same numbers as the Cruze, while being a larger car. Aren't we supposed to see a diesel Cruze yet? That thing will eat up that 47/46/46 of the hybrid Malibu. The ratings may not be there but diesels are known to easily out due their ratings anyway.
  20. *Cough* Casa *Cough*
  21. Make excuses all you want but there is simply no excuse for pleather in a $50k+ Benz. No excuse. If this were offered by Cadillac, you would have a field day talking about GM bean counters and them being cheap. 110% Correct.
  22. Bell ordered one, eh?? Gettin rid of the ole Jag. That's exciting! I wish there was a good way to connect back to the handful of MT guys, like Bell, to keep in contact with them.
  23. I guess I just assumed it was just every 2016 off the line was build with the additional reinforcements and 2015s weren't fixed or anything because they still passed the tests, just not with flying colors lol.
  24. Have you seen it in person yet? The size and presence of it in person definitely outdue the pics because I don't think it looks like anything special in pictures either.
  25. Even the Koreans? Aren't they usually on the overrated engine/optimistic with times? I definitely think the CT6 will be quicker than it but I'm not sure about the Korean jobs.
