  1. I read what U highlighted.. and only pointed it out for others. The thing is that there are several actual differences in the ATS to CTS to CT6.. and even XTS. despite from FAR OFF they look similar. The S-Class and C-Class are almost exact copies of each other.. certainly the 5 and 7Series are as well. Well when you quote me and say "u two" I felt like it was directed at me(and cp). The ATS does have a little more differentiation, and in a good way. I just don't see much unless you look in detail at the CTS and CT6 and the same can be said for the G3. I think BMW has been doing it for a longer period of time and now MB and Audi are doing it from bottom to top and Cadillac with their two newest in the CTS and CT6. I understand WHY they all do this..but..I just with there was a little more differentiation. Not a lot more, because if you nailed a design language then there is no point in venturing too far from that but a litle more would be appreciated, especially in MB's case. It sucks because I think the C->S look great individually but when together they look like an evolutionary picture of the vehicle growing and basically the same.
  2. C'mon man, I even said, " Now, I know MB is on a fast track to do the same thing from C->S and I'm not excusing them either. I think they look very good but these luxury automakers need to differentiate A LITTLE bit more." I'm not "excusing" anybody. I acknowledged that they are not the only ones to do so. I didn't mention BMW but if it makes you feel better BMW and Audi are the same way, better? I doubt many could differentiate an A6 from and A8 or an A4 from an A8.
  3. ^ That's just unreasonable pricing, you realize that right? For example, A Malibu starts at 22k and can be built up to 36k or so. That's 14k from base to top of the line. And you're saying a luxury car should go from base to top of the line for only 14k as well? A 3 Series starts at 33k and can be built up to 63k and that's no M3. Just a fully loaded 340i xDrive. But if it's a Lincoln it can't price simlarly. Even an RLX starts at 55k and built to about 70k. And you get one weak 3.5L or a hybrid. #DoubleStandardSMK
  4. I completely know what you mean. The CTS and CT6 from almost ANY distance at all look the exact same. And if it's tough for us car guys to tell them apart then there is no way the ignorant public will be able to tell them apart. They both look very very good to me but they do look very similar. Now, I know MB is on a fast track to do the same thing from C->S and I'm not excusing them either. I think they look very good but these luxury automakers need to differentiate A LITTLE bit more.
  5. That is one of my favorite lines I've read on the cars so far. Both targeting the larger luxury car market and yet their philosophies are completely different. Sporty vs. Boaty. Neither is right, neither is wrong, imo.

    Buick Cascada...

I have to say, I see what ccap is talking about. My issue with it is that just does not look nearly as good as everything else that Buick is getting ready to put out. Within a year, that car will be the new Sebring Convertible, collecting dust in the corner of every Buick lot because it simply does not look as new as the models that will be out within that same year. I do not get this move by GM at all. Get to work on that Avista (and Avenir while you're at it) already and ditch the Buick Sebring. I'm glad I'm not the only who who thinks that way. I mean Buick is doing some really awesome things and some high quiality(at least they look the part) vehicles and this just seems like it's coming in from left field.
  7. Holy $h!, just realized I better be seeing the GT350/R, RS, and Raptor at the auto show this weekend or I'm going to be one disappointed gent.

    Buick Cascada...

Okay not 10 years but the 08+ Malibus I think look better..are they actually better, I don't know. I only have pictures to judge from. But an '08 Malibu would have been released in '07 so that's 9 years old.. I wasn't really that far off. Even if it was from '08, 8 years. It just doesn't look like a 2016 vehicle. It doesn't look like a Buick to me. Buick have been putting out some really good looking cars with some really good looking interiors as of late and then they drop this on us? I hope nobody buys it just in spite of them bringing something as dated(overall package) as it is here. I mean 27mpg for a small, 1.6L, two seater? 4000lbs..? I don't think the Verano looks bad at all though. I think it's still a good looking, modern car. Yes, a little dated as it is now 5 years old. But I just think this looks like an awkward old, like not old enough to be cool, but old enough that it doesn't look 2016 either. After looking at it is more I think the grille is what's grinding my gears about the exterior.
  9. “I took a pretty hard hit down in the corner,” Wideman said after the game. “I had some pretty good pain in my shoulder, my neck. I was just trying to get off the ice. I was kind of keeled over and at the last second I looked up and saw him. I couldn’t avoid it. I went up to Donnie and apologized to him on the ice. I didn’t see him. I didn’t know where to go or how to get out of the way of him.”
  10. So..Tesla and Chrysler will produce the same number of vehicles..2. How weird does that sound?
  11. I think glasses are in your future. There is nothing wrong with the XT5 interior whatsoever. See, why couldn't/didn't they utilize the Black and Tan on the CT6 like they did on the XT5??? The colors flow so much better, IMO. In my opinion, they should have used a coffee brown as a secondary color instead of the black. Something really dark but still a brown.
  12. You're not too not picky at all. I feel the same exact way about this car.
  13. I have to agree with Drew, It seems like it is more of an appearance thing than performance thing. Looks gnarly, but that's just it. Optional to the package are the A/T tires, "bed mounted bar to support off-road lights, LED headlights, and a new sports exhaust boosting power of 5.3L V8 from 355 to 365 horsepower." . So without choosing those optional items then what the heck is even in the All Terrain X? "Styling is the biggest influence on Sierra customers and the new Sierra All Terrain X builds on that"...

    Buick Cascada...

Alright, so what is the deal with this car? Why is it a thing? and why does it look 10 years old already? Buick has had some absolutely GORGEOUS cars shown recently and then this thing goes on sale? Look at that interior, it looks like a 10 ear old GM vehicle not a 2016 Buick. The only two pieces that look relatively modern are the wheels and the LCD display on the center stack. For the most part I agree when people say that Lincoln is more of a Buick competitor than Cadillac..Then this thing came out and it actually looks like a step into pre-bailout GM. Maybe I'm being way overcritical of this car but GM makes so many better vehicles and this one is actually frustrating that they are selling it under the Buick name plate.

    Buick Cascada...

"“Look how much fun Buick can be!” That’s what we imagine some Buick dealers will think at the sight of the new 2016 Buick Cascada, an attractive soft-top convertible that’s soon to brighten showrooms everywhere, or at least in the five states the automaker says make up half of all convertible sales—and to buyers who aren’t especially brand-loyal. The Cascada will serve Buick as another brand perception-breaker, and you won’t find a convertible at Acura, Cadillac, or Volvo. At a launch event in Florida, we drove the Buick Cascada with the top down, up, and unfolding at speed to determine whether Audi,BMW, or even Ford should be worried. Although the new-to-the-U.S. 2016 Buick Envision midsize crossover could become the brand’s best-seller in 2017 or 2018, the 2016 Cascada convertible enters a much lower-volume segment. The car reaches our shores thanks to Opel, General Motors’ European subsidiary, and has already been on sale in Europe for a couple years. Buick sprinkled in a few changes—suspension and steering tweaks, for example—but almost nothing has changed with the design aside from the Buick badges (not yet in color as on the 2017 LaCrosse) and huge 20-inch wheels in two styles. They’re standard equipment on every Cascada, part of an impressive standard-equipment list that helps disguise the fact that the car is closely based on a non-premium European model. ..." http://www.motortrend.com/news/2016-buick-cascada-convertible-first-drive-review/
  16. As much as I love/dig the design, flow, shapes, etc. I don't understand why in the hell they would place a black center piece on the steering wheel and a black chunk under the infotainment screen. Those color choices clash so hard to my eyes. It looks nicely layed out I just don't understand that color choice. Easy fix if to just order your CT6 with black on black. .
  17. Good looking car but most importantly I'm glad the standard Boxter is finally 300hp.
  18. I sat in a brand new Z06 last night at my local GM dealer. My dad was dropping off my brother's "new" Ion(check engine light on and it's under warranty) and they had a pretty red Z06 in the showroom. Oh course I went and drooled over it for a bit but the guy my dad was dealing with, also the salesman who he bought the Ion from, unlocked it for me and I had myself a seat. It actually felt really cramped, but in a good tight feeling kind of way. The seats definitely hugged the hips and waist really tight and I'm not a very large guy, 5'8", 180lbs. I have no clue how it would have been comfortable for somebody much larger than myself. I loved how the whole center stack was aimed at the driver. All in all, it was awesome. It felt so badass.
  19. ..I'd still rather own the 2WD Ram.. lol
  20. Which only proves they don't know jack about trucks and 4WD. Sounds like the majority of pick up drivers here in Phoenix. All jacked up with no place to go. Oh definitely! I can't imagine all the big lifted useless trucks there are being in Phoenix, lol. I mean there are plenty here as well but I'm pretty sure everything that's lifted will be 4wd. Plenty of lifted, clean, pretty trucks here that will just never see dirt other than the summer when the combines are in the fields kicking up dust in the air.
  21. Yeah but you KNOW those Ram and Silverado owners were talkin' all sorts of $h! how their 2WD truck could pull the 4WD ones. In both videos we have lifted, aftermarket wheels, HD diesels.. their drivers were cocky. lol
  22. A minute gripe about it, and one that can be fixed with just a different color choice, which I would do anyway, buuuuuuut the light tan one in the Motor Trend review had a black center on the steering wheel that didn't blend well with me, any of the black that they used in the light tan interior. I know that's being picky but if that's the only real downside I noticed..then it's one heck of a good looking car. I'd just get a black interior anyway and not have to worry about that.
  23. That Dodge is not 4 wheel drive. Never saw anything but the one rear wheel ever move. Either that, or the driver is the biggest 4 wheel driving idiot on the planet. Both rear wheels were spining at one point( Around 44 seconds you can see the far sided one) but either way I never saw a front tire spinning so it had to be 2WD.
  24. ^ I LOVE watching the 24hrs at Daytona! I'd enjoy LeMans more but the coverage here is $h! compared to Daytona(I think we got a total of like 5-6 hours last year of LeMans)..or even a handful of the other endurance IMSA races. 2:40PM is the drop of the green flag! ..I think that's eastern time.. so 1:40 for us. ...1:40 is the drop of the green flag!! lol
