What do you mean "what they provided..." ? Are you saying the CGI photo has one drivetrain over the other? -

"The vehicles will be equipped with either fuel-efficient internal combustion engines or battery electric powertrains and can be retrofitted to keep pace with advances in electric vehicle technologies." https://about.usps.com/newsroom/national-releases/2021/0223-multi-billion-dollar-modernization-of-postal-delivery-vehicle-fleet.htm -

Personally, as it's our tax dollars, i could give two ?s less what it looks like. I want it to function, be economical, and do the job that's needed from it. Appearance would be at the VERY bottom of the list of things I care about. -

They could have done nothing and been 4 years behind. I know you prefer the single pod design but I'd wager there's more safety built into these by actually having a crumple zone in front of the drivers. -

Silver and white are free. Everything else is $1500 or $2500, additionally. -

He's certainly not a fan of the "SUV" look though. The deal breaker for me would be the lack of real buttons/controls that Teslas have. I couldn't tolerate having to scroll through the screen to adjust simple things like wipers, opening the glovebox, adjusting seat/steering wheel. -

Like Olds said, it's certainly function over form and it ought to be if it's on our dime. I can guarantee the carriers themselves will LOVE having HVAC finally. I'd like to know a little more about these powertrain options though. What kind of hybrid/EV will it be? What kind of range(if EV)? -

I just had a friend get their Bolt bought back because of the botched battery situation and he's getting either a Tesla Model 3 or Mach E(if he gets a chance to drive a Mach E). -
Yeah, personally, if everything else were equal, I'd take a single drive transmission than a Nissan CVT. I also realize you weren't the one to bring up the Bolt as an alternative nor was my comment directed at anybody specifically, just the the comparison was being made and , personally, I don't think it's much of a comparison when the price spread is so large and one doesn't offer AWD, which is a very popular option. What about that price spread and lack of AWD? Equinox/RAV4/Escape/CR-V are all more realistic options. Sorry, typo. $23,860, not $26,860.
-
Unless the Bolt/EUV can be had with AWD OR starts similarly priced, it's kind of a stupid comparison, IMO. I'm not sure what the size differences are but: Rogue Sport: starting MSRP of $26,860 Bolt: starting MSRP of $31,995 Rogue: starting MSRP of $25,750 Bolt EUV: starting MSRP of $33,995

Yeah, the $750 option for the full ProPower Onboard is a "heck of a deal" when you compare it to any generator that has the power this does. -
Wait for it to rain and then leave them out there longer again!

Of course they're going to need the IC portion to charge the battery or use as a generator. It's just great they if they have a 36 gallon tank, it'll last a hell of a lot longer than any generator AND be silent from inside your home, unlike any other generator. -
And if I said it was my opinion after driving the vehicle, you'd still say the same thing. "personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt." I'd hope even more don't know. They already know what a Traverse, Enclave, and Acadia are.

I have not but it runs like an EcoBoost with a twin scroll, very quick spool up and runs out of steam up top because it’s made for a thick, beefy torque curve. Personally, I was okay with the ATS, CTS, XTS and I’m fine with the CT#, I just don’t like how close they changed them(then again the CTS has been around for quite awhile). I hate the trunk number system even more until they have a full EV where it makes sense.

Holy SNAP! @ocnblu, do you even REALIZE how lucky you are?!? You better say your prayers tonight because you got luuuuuuucky! Obligatory alternative fuel GIF for relevance. -
Because Cadillac completely botched their naming system, AGAIN. Don't throw a "V" on something with a diesel-like power band(exaggeration). This is a stellar base engine that could be tuned down 'because hierarchy" but V still means sport, just like the V-Sport of old.
-
Yeah, it's a great daily engine but not a sporty engine, like most EcoBoosts. If what I read yesterday I comprehended, it's a similar situation to a twin scroll, minimizing lag to near zero.
-
While I know what you mean, wouldn't the shape of the curve of the 2.7 not really be all that suitable for a sports sedan(in a sporty spec)? Bunch of low end torque and looses steam up top(like many of EcoBoosts). I'd wager very rarely, same as any vehicle with this kind of performance monitoring. They produce really cool information but I doubt many actually use it all that often. I'd also say that the very few who do track their cars, would use it every single time.

Hard pass on another Nissan.
