  1. I've gotten pretty good mileage out of my two EcoBoosts. I have a pretty light foot though so I expect to do a little better than the ratings. I have also noticed with both of them that once you hit about 70mph, the fuel economy starts to drop quite significantly compared to n/a vehicles I've owned. My AWD 2.3T MKC is rated at 18/23 and my lifetime average over the 19,094 miles I've had it has been 23.2mpg. My AWD 2.0T Escape was rated at 21/28 and I averaged 24.7mpg over 24,611 miles.
  2. Steel wheels fit that look perfectly.
  3. Yep, i think the 100% functionality of them is what I like. They're built tough, look tough, and are meant to do work rather than just look pretty. I mean, isn't that one reason we like highly capable vehicles whether its Corvette ZR1's, Wranglers Rubicons, 911 GT3 RS's? Have your OEM wheels powder coated for a few hundred bucks..? That would look pretty damn awesome. I would very much prefer those without the pinstripe, but the style and white would look awesome on your Avalanche.
  4. Yeah, i knew the "Real" Bronco came with them as well. i mostly thought it was a fun fact the Sport's came with aluminum "steelies".
  5. Ford offers them as well on the Bronco Sport. I believe they're actually aluminum though.
  6. The steelies on the Defender look KICK-@SS!
  7. Correct, it is not on the base SR model, SR5, or Limited models. The TRD Sport and TRD Off road are 33k and 34k, respectively, though. So you're not forced to get some crazy priced mid-size truck for 45-50k with the TRD Pro. The TRD Sport can be had with 2WD, as well, so you're not forced to have 4WD. I forgot the Gladiator can also be had with a manual transmission.
  8. ????
  9. Not true. I just went to their site and you can get a manual in the TRD Sport, TRD Off Road, and TRD Pro.
  10. 2025 is only about 4 years away and you genuinely believe there will be zero manual transmission on the market by then? That's some absurd thinking, IMO. There are also Tacomas and Wranglers with manual transmissions chugging alone quite nicely.
  11. To all participating parties solely complaining about each other: Quit being so petty.
  12. That does seem correct as a 23% of 21mpg(diesel city rating) would be almost 5mpg meaning the hybrid would be rated 25.8mpg(round up or down and you can tell it isn't compared to the diesel). The hybrid is roughly 14% more efficient in its city rating than the diesel.
  13. I think this bolded part is what you missed and makes way more sense now. "Fuel economy alone, the F-150 Hybrid should improve city MPG by around 23%. This will translate into some pretty noticeable fuel pump savings."
  14. It doesn't say "23% increase in gasoline efficiency". It says, "fuel" which diesel would be a fuel. Stupid writing and intentionally poorly worded to make everything sound great.
  15. You JUST stated they achieve the same combined fuel economy.
  16. Retiring is vastly different than what all of these 20-40 year-olds were talking about doing.
  17. This just doesn't look very appealing.
  18. You're both right and wrong. Its both extremes, ya clowns... 100%, all those people crying about leaving, stayed put. Nobody had the nuts to actually DO what they said they'd do.
  19. There are a lot in IL, but they're almost all in the Chicago area. The point, I believe, is so be able to travel with EA rather than just do your daily trips around town.
  20. So many things about that are ridiculous. Bad brakes and/or tires to stop. Why would you aim for the building/home unless you actually lost your brakes?
  21. It's so awesome. The guy drives it everywhere as a daily as well and drives to all sorts of events with/for it.
  22. I can't tell if sarcastic or not... This is a guy on a Facebook group I'm in. It's one bad-@ss Jeep.
  23. Nuts are the absolute worst. My neighbor has a walnut tree and I've probably hand picked up close to 1000 of them sons of b!tches and that's only the half overhanging in my yard!
  24. I bagged the first couple of times because it was a lot coming down and it would be a lot to break down but I've since mulched them in and also threw down a winter fertilizer. But yes, mulching is the best thing you can do but you have to keep up on it in max growing season so you aren't getting clumps.
  25. Pshhhh.. a lawn guy.. I've actually REALLY gotten into my yard since COVID hit and places closed and we weren't going anywhere for those first few months. I did a complete lawn renovation. Killed off everything and reseeded in the beginning/middle of September and it's looking pretty awesome. It's still thin but looking pretty good. Oh I completely agree.. that's the world of media these days though. Whatever gets the clicks and page views.
