  1. Again, proving my point about apples to oranges. FFS
  2. So 0-60 doesn’t matter now? Got it. Btw, my original post was not to be taken literally. I was being as silly as you were with your examples posted. The rest of your post is the same old, same old “just wait” because again, you have this problem with apples and oranges and like Balth said, it’s just a broken record at this point. And again, for more than double the price of the Vette, it damn sure better be faster. This is the type of apples to oranges nonsense to which I was referring.
  3. And not ONE of those four pots get that power without hybrid assistance so it is, at least, a little bit about the cylinder count (especially given your past hype of the V12 from Benz) and all of them cost considerably more coin than the Vette. Just skip the fact that Z06 is about to be announced just over a month and will have more HP than all of those mentioned except the much more expensive AMG GT. The rumored EV Vette is another matter entirely so if you are going to bring up all the next upcoming Daimlers toys then make sure you are comparing them to the upcoming Vette toys as well. Otherwise, again, not even close to an apples to apples comparison here. Guess that makes the Tesla S one as well, since it smokes everything else (including a handful of supercars) from 0-60.
  4. On those Mopars, the purple looks like it belongs. On many others though, it just looks like a tacky aftermarket job (like on every “Uber” car out there). It doesn’t go with everything, much how red doesn’t belong on just any car. Just my personal taste. About the SS, you’re missing one color.
  5. I honestly wish there was a vomit emoji reaction for this. I guess this will have to do.?
  6. How a proper two tone paint job is done.
  7. Get one then and make sure to get back to us after about 30K miles of wear and tear on a 643 HP four pot. Apologies from you, at that point, will be expected. Corrected for accuracy. And for the billionth time, F a four banger in a Vette. Just stop that nonsense already.
  8. Sure, if you like unreliable POSs.
  9. Well then, it’s a little presumptuous to assume that the name is what brought the sales. If it’s a solid ride and looks good (inside and out), then naming them after a legendary nameplate like the Mustang is irrelevant. Ask Porsche about the Cayenne, as an example.
  10. But would those Mach-E sales be any different if it were called something else?
  11. Until we see an actual EV Vette, we won’t know for sure. In its current state though, it’s not possible.
  12. Exactly and they had no problem moving them despite not carrying over that “branding”. Then that makes a Vette SUV an even more ridiculous idea since it is not mid-engine and that most certainly will not carry over to any SUV or CUV.
  13. While I agree with the rest (and that is what I getting at), just a hard no on doing that to the Vette name.
  14. Never said there was but it is the opposite of the reality right now. Again, when they go all EV, it may be a different story but it’s not going to happen with an ICE under the hood, no matter how much pipe dreaming that takes place.
  15. Why? Everything is going EV with them anyway so there is little to no chance of a performance ICE based SUV/CUV. Maybe they go that route once the EV transition is complete but people wishing for it right now are just pipe dreaming IMO.
  16. Doesn’t seem like you know either. I cannot think of a more contradictory term.
  17. This should answer it. https://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/history/emblem.html
  18. No No No No It's not a solo affair but the chevy logo is inside the Vette emblem. Do you just enjoy being wrong? The Bolt starts in the 30s.
  19. Much better options out there for less coin and with better performance where it’s needed (like the highway). $50K for a overdressed RAV4 with a CVT is just obscene.
  20. Probably because there were only 800 of them made lol. Not exactly a large sample pool to go with there.
  21. Hold up now. I’m feeling personally attacked here.
  22. Beyond pricey but damn! I'd still have it if the money was there. Another $10K system in a $1k car lol.
  23. The last part was a bit “trollish” lol.
  24. From what I can tell, neither does Burmester. Both make sweet systems but I’d still take a top notch McIntosh over an equal Burmester, and I have heard both (home systems) but my sound budget does not line up with my real budget lol. Again, dreaming. Agreed on Bose though. Middle of the road stereos and speakers at best.
  25. While I am not sold on the Grand Wagoneer's exterior, the interior is sharp as hell but what really catches my eyes, are the stereo and the maker. Salivating here, is not an option for me. That is my dream build home stereo system maker. Ironically, the system I want from them (The Reference Music System below) probably costs more than a loaded GW. A man can dream though. A man can dream.
