    this pretty much says fca isn't serious on electrics - say they'll do it and then give it to a pretty unknown brand so once it gets cancelled, everyone will have forgotten and shrug. but then fca isn't a serious car company anyways.

    why bother with the higher cost diesel of a diesel engine, the higher cost of diesel fuel and, the associated stigma when this hybrid powertrain could be in the cruze?

    so this larger vehicle with a decently loaded base model gets 49 City/43 Highway... and the cruze diesel exists, why?

    only a dozen people in north america know of the maserati brand and they'd all buy tesla's anyways. so i guess sergio wants to lose money on an electrified vehicle again?

    it's hilarious that cadillac - a billion year old brand - is so bad that it gets compared to a singular car that's not even on the road yet.

    the deposit gets them hooked, hyped, defers other car purchases and then has the potential outcome of upselling to a Model S once the 3 comes out. SOP for a lot of companies.
