Agreed, anyone would defend the X and J cars is completely off their rocker. The X cars in particular were total $h!...it's widely knwon that they were a failure.

I'm disappointing that Obama "ditched" the 300C for the Escape simply because the greenie weenies were bitching about it. Although I'm somehow not surprised the for McCain was caught in another lie:

Or alternatively, you could try believing it. You'd be surprised how could your fuel economy can be when you are driving like a madman, and when traffic is free and clear the entire trip. Latest fuel average was 21.8 mpg over the course of Friday and Saturday where we used the full take. Saturday was a trip to Vermont for a wedding, Friday was a 3 hour traffic jam from south of Boston all the way back to Lawrence, thanks to the combination of Friday traffic and 2 wrecks. This as you would imagine, killed fuel economy.

Does it involve starving and badge engineering cars, in the grand GM tradition? Or maybe showing us small, fuel efficient concept cars, having us vote which we liek best, and then not build the winning car to meet US standards so we can't have it? It seems like there are two mentalities at GM: one of them is to build the very best (CTS, Malibu, Corvette ZR1, Enclave, possibly Invicta/LaCrosse), and the other is to cut corners, build it cheap, build it sub-par, and hope it sells (Aveo, G3, G5, DTS, way too many GMT900s). The latter mentality has to go if GM wants to really see a brighter future.

There was plenty of crap being made by all companies in the 80's and early to mid 90's. However if you compare a `95 Civic, Corolla, and Cavalier...there's the competition. The Cavalier was completely outclassed.

The profile is terrible..it's more boxy than a 300C and without the 300's excellent proportions.

Those stupid door handles on 90's Corollas and Prizms...and apparently Camries too. Cheapest plastic ever. To date I have broken the Prizm's door handles 4 times, and broke 3 more at the junkyard trying to get them off...and it isn't like I didn't know how to do it.

Srsly? You must be one of the lucky ones then. The machines I used that had ME crashes and locked up regularly. XP has been very reliable for me, and rarely crashes. Vista has been good so far.

1. If you say the dash looks similar to teh Malibu again I will hurt you. You are blind. Please do not say it again. 2. Lexus was not the first company to do integrated exhausts.

Certainly looks better, but I want to see the front of the car, and see what's been done with it.

I have a Kyocera Cyclops I got on clearance for $30 last month. I'm very happy with it. It looks nice has a camera, and works better than my old phone. My only complain is that speaker phone isn't very loud. I use Virgin Mobile and recently switched from the $15 /month plan which gave me 100 minutes I always use up to the $25 /month plan with 200 anytime minutes and 500 night (starts at 7pm) and weekend minutes, and $10 unlimited text and picture messaging for a grand total of $35 /month. I'm happy I upgraded, totally worth it. I actually had minutes left over this time.

Vista is not hard to use. It's interface is similar to every windows program since 95 save a few details. I can easily access files from my backup HDD. Dude have you prices an Apple lately? I the PC I just build has an AMD Dual Core, EVGA 8800GT, and 4 gigs of Ram for $700. I dare you to find a Mac that is better that costs twice the price. Also, before the 4 Gigs Ram I ran it on two and it was just fine...4 is just better I thought XP Home 32 bit (what I use) couldn't support more than 2 gigs, or was it 2 gigs per app? I have a Foxconn mobo and video card and both have been very reliable with no problems. I guess it's a hit or miss sorta thing. I haven't used DFI but ASUS and EVGA have been great products as well, so has my older ABIT motherboard. Which reminds me: Chaintech. Total pieces of $h!.
