What is the bitching about Vista? I just did a PC build with Vista Home Premium, because I wanted 4 gigs of Ram and XP only supports 2. No problems with it. It looks nice, and can better make use of newer CPU and GPU technologies. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that it asks you for permission any time you want to run a CD-based game or install a program. So I have to click one more time than I did with XP. So what? Vista is a resource hog, but if your computer doesn't suck it runs great. Wanna talk a $h!ty OS? Besides ME of course, OS X Leopard. Unstable as hell, and my experiences with it's security settings were worse than anything Microsoft has done. The OS is so unstable last year my school uninstalled it and put the OS X Tiger back on the brand new computers. What's wrong with Flourescent bulbs? Foxconn Motherboards? My computer uses a Foxconn mobo and it has been excellent for me for 2 years now.

That's too bad. I did enjoy his different perspective, although his holier-than-thou attitude was sometimes annoying. Still, he had a lot of good info to share. Too bad we scared him off.

It looks like a MKZ. The concept looked so much better, and even the US spec car has a better nose.

I'd rather drive a Prizm than be seen in an Aveo. At least Prizms aren't ugly, and if I had to choose which foreign company is building it, Japan > Korea.

Oh yeah. Last week was it? We made a 4 hour trip in the GM from Lawrence to North Dartmouth and back and it averaged something to the tune of 38.6 mpg while cruising at 70 the whole way over a distance of 180 miles and refueling 4.6 gallon. I had to check it 3 times to be sure. The numbers my be off slightly...I don't have the text message I sent to Sixty8 that night anymore. Score one for the RWD V8 powered BOF cars.

Hmm... Pontiac Aveo or Ford Fiesta...? Tough Choice.

I like the interior. The exterior is alright, but at a quick glance seems more like a refresh with a new nose.

Same engine and suspension bits, but you will get a Bugs Bunny Grille as well as a big ugly spoiler.

It appears that badge engineering crappy cars is alive and well at GM.

Darker colors work much better for the Volt.

Regarding Abortion: It should most certainly be allowed under special / extreme circumstances, but not so the woman who sleeps around doesn't have to be burdened with a kid. My :twocents: Also regarding drugs: I see no reason why they should be legalized beyond the naive hope that it will slow or put an end to illegal drug distribution. I mean seriously, you have to be a pretty big looser to rely on a drug to escape your problems instead of facing them, or can't find a better way to get a rush.
