  1. So by advertising in only one language, Spanish no less, that will help broaden their message? Not getting angry with moltar of course, it's just an issue that really infuriates me.
  2. I think it crosses a line when the US Military starts doing it in Spanish only.
  3. Maybe it's just be, although I know it isn't, but I am getting sick and tried of more and more ads and packaging being in Spanish. At first it was English on top with smaller Spanish below it, then Spanish got bigger until it was the same size, and recently I've seen ads only in Spanish. That really Pisses me off. The first example of this was a several months ago where there were small promotional ads in a store in the soda section that had to do with Pirate of the Caribbean and Coca Cola. There were 4 or 5 of these ads spread throughout the isle and every one of them was in Spanish. Today while browsing Autoblog Sprint just showed a cell phone ad that was exclusively in Spanish. But the worst offender is a big billboard on Route 110 for the US f@#king Navy exclusively in Spanish. That's disgusting. Am I the only one on this site who feels this way? Why is it that every other group of people from around the world who have migrated to the USA over the years have adapted and learned English and for the most part of become legal, respectful citizens, with the exception of Mexicans people from DR and such? It's so disrespectful to me and just a spit in the ye to this country...but we actually seem to condone it and DO NOTHING about it.
  4. Hey bob, you should take that cat in so it no longer has to wander the streets and be at risk of cars and other animals. I like dogs but I am a cat person. We have 5 cats: 2 before I met my girlfriend, 4 when she moved in, and one we saved from being abandoned. Cats are amazing because n ot only can they take care of themselves better than dogs, but they can be every bit as affectionate if not more. It all depends on how they were raised, like with every living creature. Her 2 cats are the sweetest most friendly things ever. One of them will walk up to anyone and be pet while the other is more shy ntil she gets to know you, then its the same. They will sleep near you or in your arms at night, they will jump on your lap when you come home, as though to ask how your day was, and of course they can be funny as hell.
  5. Other FWD based Cadillac... Looks like the CTS is the only one worth buying (maybe the STS).
  6. Interestingly, my younger brother told me about it last weekend. It is truely fascinating, and amazing that what was once the work of science fiction 20-30 years ago (black holes, lasers) is reality today. At any rate, just reading the article makes you think the critics like Wagner are seeming to pull crazy scenarios out of their butts to scare people than actually read up facts..at least the way he is speaking. Anyway, I think there's only a 1 in 4 million chance of a black hole forming anyway. Can you imagine if their are other dimensions? One of the possibilities was that the LHC could open up a gateway to one of these other dimensions.
  7. Beautiful car, my favorite one in the entire Audi lineup and one of my favorite German cars.
  8. But on the train it's proportional.
  9. Yup.
  10. I'd like to see the movie where poor Japanese man is being worked to death by the evil Japanese car company. Oh, and for 30M I would say have it.
  11. I love how TTAC blasts Detroit for badge engineering and that is exactly what the CSX is, but it gets 4 stars.
  12. I think it's both funny and ironic that you are complaining that the wealthy would have to pay more than what lower income (90% of America) makes, especially since you and I do not fall into the "wealthy" bracket. Just curious, have you actually compared the tax plans? Obama's is actually much more fair to everyone than the McCain's, which like Bushes, makes the rich benefit most. As well, it isn't as though Obama is charging them for half of their income.
  13. Not my thing. I like the Mercedes you have better. Give the B-59 some love. It's cooler than any Mercedes will ever be IMHO.
  14. It's poorly designed because even if there only 2 "official" choices that doesn't mean everyone falls squarely in one category. Although my party is Dem, I'm certainly not liberal, and there are some issues with the conservative party I like, however too many of them do not appeal to me. You can take your bible thumping politically correctness (oxymoron) and shove it up your ass. That's how I don't fall into one or the other. There should at least have been an "Other" or "neither" option in the poll.
  15. I missed Fly's wit. And yes, our biggest problem, and interesting the biggest problem with religion is that we can't just mind our of f@#king business.
  16. I have to say there is a lot of interesting info beings hared by those who actually pay attention, but gm4life yours is both bias, full of non-facts, and blind.
  17. Typical, as with many new unveiling several of you seem to condemn it before we've even seen the whole thing. I personally like it. It may not look like the concept, although I like the front of this better anyway, but it looks much better than the current dedicated green cars.
  18. This was a poorly designed thread.
  19. But they'd never forget how they were told so and so died. :AH-HA_wink:
  20. I wish I had time to go to the air show. Anyway, the storm came and went very quickly. We got a lot of rain but it only got windy at the very end of the storm. Even then it only blew off some small branches and such.
  21. Chrysler should learn a thing or three about the nicer interior and rear end, plus better handling.
  22. It's in great shape but man is it ugly.
  23. FWIW Firefox 3 has a much better spell checker
  24. Chrysler has proven to the world many times that they have the balls. Thanks for posting this Ven, I saw it on allpar several days ago but lost the link to post the story here.
  25. We're just starting to get into the rain now.
