The Future of HUMMER - Autoweek
So? You claim Zeta has been killed because of fuel economy concerns (CAFE) It doesn't matter if teh owner can afford the gas or not, it's about the regulations. By that logic, Hummer should be dead first because the brand gets far worse fuel economy.

Choppin' Competition #46 - Cadillac Provoq Concept
I actually did quite a lot, but I prefer a subtle approach that doesn't look like it was chopped, like it was a real photo. It's all about the details.

NOt when fuel prices hit 4or 5 bucks gallon. Sales will tank and I will enjoy every moment of it.

I'd rather the entire Hummer brand get Axed if it means we can get the Coupe 60 and maybe a RWD Impala.

Sepereated at Birth?
I never noticed until today, but from the back both the ugly Porsche Cayenne and Jeep Compass look eerily similar from the back. Is it just me?

C&G Gathering @ the All-GM Nationals, Carlisle, PA
I'd rather bring my car, since it's more comfortable for long distance cruising, plus we can comfortably fit a couple extra people if they happened to need a ride, but I don't wanna be excluded from the tent either. Ironic isn't it? I can bring a Toyota there but not a Dodge.

Yeah, I was extremely lucky with my used car purchase.

I love the spotlight, sure the electrical are kinda screwed up because of it (the thing always thinks it needs windshield washer fluid) but it actually works and is so cool in a pointless kind of way. I'd drive this thing just to shine it at some jerk tailgating me. Since the weather finally doesn't suck, I'm gonna try to remove the bumper today. The Camaro may have been a slug to begin with, but the concept of a brick pwning a Camaro is still priceless!

Acura recalls 273,000 TLs due to fire fears
Honda put out two recall notices today that affects some 273,000 2004-2008 Acura TLs. One of the recalls addresses a windshield wiper issue, where a potentially faulty circuit breaker on 129,600 '04 and '05 TLs could fail, rendering the wipers useless. The other recall is a bit more compelling. Apparently an issue with high temperatures under the hood can cause the power steering hose to degrade to the point that it could crack and leak fluid onto the catalytic converter. This could result in a fair amount of smoke, or, at worse, a fire. Neither issue has resulted in a crash or injury, but Acura dealers have been instructed to replace the power steering hose and, in the case of the windshield wiper motor, inspect the unit and replace it if necessary. Naturally, there's no charge for either recall. Source: Autoblog

Somestime you get a used car that is a troublesome money pit and sometimes you get one that is very reliable and drives like new.

Is a G8 coupe [or name to be decided] still be on?
The Zeta's basic designs may be older, but the handling is still world class, unlike any W-Body. There's a difference bwteen a platform that is not brand new but can run with the best of them and a platform that sucks. They should make this, if only for a short time. It wouldn't add much cost to build it I'm sure, they could get a little extra use out of Zeta before it's raped buy POS Epsilons, and in selling it for a short while there will be no problems finding buyers. I'd buy it.

2008 Holden Coupe 60 Concept
Of course they are going to compare it to the M5, the CTS-V is in the same size class. Please go away.

New Ride
That was low and uncalled or. Also, if GM actually built a coupe in the price bracket, like teh Coupe 60, she would actually have an option in the GM brand. There's nothing else. FWD POS W-Bodies don't count.
-
New Ride
There's no RWD GM coupes in that price range out there. Camaro's not out and I'm sure the "smart" ones at GM will keep the Coupe 60 nothing more than a dream.

Teh Ricer Photos!
That is the $13,000 question.

2008 Holden Coupe 60 Concept
I'm sorry but please shut the hell up. You come in here and do nothing but ruin a good thread. If you had any sense of style and half a brain you would see that it is anything but bland and looks nothing like the last gen Monaro. It does look like a 2-door G8/Commodore, but just because it doesn't look ugly (G6, 5-Series) does not make it boring or a bad design. I'm so sick and tired of the pointless, factless bull$h! you spew out. You can't even make a valid comparison. Just shut up and find another thread to annoy people in, and leave us to enjoy that which will probably never see the light of day while we can.

It is quite comfortable and the engine is surprisingly quiet for such an old one. Yeah, I finally had time, or so I thought, yesterday to take off the bumper. Starting doing it, got a coupel bolts off and then got called into work early. Now there's 7 inches of snow on the ground.

Where's the image resize feature? Those pictures are huge and I'm on a 1440x900 screen! She looks good though, if you wanna take indoor pictures that come out reasonably well I suggest mounting the camera on a tribod or steady surface, if your camera is good enough turn the ISO down to get rid of the grain, and keep the flash off with a longer exposure. Makes for better photos in low light. Of course if your camera is like mine, and a piece of old crap, none of that, besides steadying the camera will do much good.
