  1. Look at the teaser and see for yourself. Invivta is no doubt a concept LaCrosse, so it's on EPII whereas the Malibu is on EPI. You know a little research goes a long way.
  2. I cannot stress enough how disgusted I am with how the car has become a scapegoat for emission, allowing the huge, filthy, unregulated factories and refineries to dump tons of CO2 and other toxic gases into the atmosphere. That is where much of the problem lies. How about aircraft? I'm sure those aren't economical, and I haven't heard anything about emissions control and improved fuel economy for them. The automotive industry is just a convenient scapegoat the politicians like to use because they're either pussies and don't challenge the real culprits or are getting their pockets lined by them.
  3. I like the greenhouse a lot.
  4. Best Analogy in a long time. I can't recall a single post of his that was meaningful/helpful/factual/useful.
  5. That being said, I think it looks alright overall until you get to the front. The headlights are funky but I don't mind that, it's just the square grill and air dam that look out of place. My first impression was GTR meets a truck front styling. It doesn't match the rest of the car...like it came from a different design proposal. Fox that and it would be better. The interior is definitely reminiscent of an Infiniti, but that's not a bad thing, besides not being particularly original.
  6. Looks like a Yaris from the back and a MKS from the side.
  7. Source: Autoblog Forums are fast becoming the bane of automakers that've spent a lot of time, energy and money coordinating a new car's debut. Nissan was hoping to debut the all-new 2009 Maxima tomorrow during the New York Auto Show, but forum Supernissans.net has burst this carmaker's bubble a bit early. Six pics of the new 2009 Nissan Maxima were posted on this forum, which we've included in the gallery below, and more have begun showing up on other sites around the web. We'll have details on the car, as well as more live shots and high-res official photos, tomorrow morning when the new Maxima rolls out on stage in the Big Apple. Until then, we're sure you're eager to check out the pics and discuss this polarizing design in the comments.
  8. Rather buy a CTS, G8, Charger, etc.
  9. Very helpful, thanks! Here's an older photo...it hasn't changed much since then...besides Sixty8 pushing it up teh driveway with Fly's LeSabre. Thanks for the tip, and believe it or not it doesin fact have an Oil Pressure gauge.
  10. I love how they are forcing people to "want" to downsize by slapping taxes on the vehicles.
  11. I love how they want you to pay $97 for 2 pictures of poorly photoshopped books.
  12. So I want to see if the `86 Caravan will start up. It's been sitting in the driveway for at least 3 year and 2 years since it was started. Here's what I know: It has no coolant...bone dry in the reservoir and the radiator. Checked the oil and the oil on the dipstick seemed very thick...like molasses. No idea about the condition of the gas in the tank. Does anyone have advice on the procedures for prepping it for startup?
  13. You're waisting your time turbo, it's like talking to a deaf, not particularly smart wall.
  14. hardly what?
  15. Well spoken Reg On another note, it appears smk has decided to pull numbers and misguided views out of his ass yet again.
  16. No one in my family is really car shopping..mainly due to financial reasons, although if my mom were she really likes the Sebring and the PT Cruiser. She liked the PT a lot. She also likes Mustangs. I'm not really interested in a new car...not yet anyway. But when I am there are a few choice RWD cars on the list. :AH-HA_wink:
  17. Man if they keep the Holden and add an Alpha Pontiac really will be a performance brand again.
  18. That sucks that the entire argument is based on badge snobbery. It makes logistics hard to use. BMW Pros T3H B4DG3! Drives good Refined Well built and good quality interior Cons None of them besides the X5, M3 and 6-series are very good looking IMO Overpriced for what you get Which isn't a lot until you start adding expensive options Interior designs leave a lot to be desired Gadgets can get overly complex to use Electrical reliability general reliability good luck checking your own oil G8 Pros Understated yet muscular good looks Interior design is far nicer IMO Interior quality not a BMW but not shameful either Fun to drive Intuitive controls Cons: Not a BMW No Nav Interior quality not a BMW but not shameful either
  19. I've always wanted the utility of a pickup bed, but as much as I like the Ram it really is massive for something I'd hardly ever use, and the midsize trucks aren't very appealing to me either. This would. Something spoty and good looking that returns decent fuel economy, it's fun to drive and easy to live with everyday, but needed to haul something like a dishwasher, there's the utility of a bed. What's not to love? If they could fit an AWD system of some sort in there they could increase the appeal even more. Hey ocn, forget the HHR, how about replacing your Sierra with this?
  20. In a hurry to get to the next #$%^ing red light.
  21. I also like the way the `71 hatchback looked. Drop an engine thst didn't suck in the bay and it might have been a better car.
