  1. If BMW can get away with creating monstrosities like the X6 and not scarepeople away from the showroom (or the Z4 for that matter) I'm sure a pickup car with the front end of a G8 will do little to hurt the sedan. I'm sure no one called tha Baja redneck or worried if it would hurt teh Legacy or Outback's image... In fact it didn't...it just sucked.
  2. The headlights definitely meet the grill. The Optima's nose was it's one real week spot in what is otherwise an attractive if bland sedan.
  3. new white STS silver Outlook XR silver Vue XE several Caravans gray BMW X5 an H1 with a snorkel.
  4. You're welcome. Back on topic, you gotta love how edmunds has already knocked the ST by saying it'll probably just collect dust on the showroom floor.
  5. I prefer pumpkin.
  6. When Camino sees this he will faint. I epect you to update your sig Camino.

  8. I'd love a 9-3. Ever since I test drove one I became enchanted by the quirky Saab-ness.
  9. I like it so far...more original than the Insignia teasers were looking.
  10. I vote for the G8. If you go used there's always an AWD Charger SXT...hell you might be able to find one new still.
  11. You'll never convince be that turn by turn navigation is better than turn by turn and a screen. It's just easier to visualize where teh road is when you glance at the screen, because many times, especially in congested cities, the voice can get confused or the directions can get confusing.
  12. The slogan still blows but the commercial rocks.
  13. Wednesday on the way to an event in Lowell we were coming to the stoplight on 110 where the road goes from 2 lanes to 3 but the 2 lanes must merge with an off ramp on the far right. It's very awkward the way the road divides up...very poor design. Anyway it's rush hour so there's lots of traffic. I was in the lane right where the road splits off suddenly so an extra lane is added for those turning left. I had no where to go because traffic was in front of me and that left turning lane hadn't "formed" yet. This asshole in a Tundra decides that he can't wait for traffic to move up, and barely lows down as he goes on the median to get past me...inches away from the side of my car...I thought I was going to get sidewsiped again! I didn't but I blasted my horn at the jerkoff, and again as I went through the intersection while he was still waiting to turn left (he got real far ahead of me). He beeped back, must have known it was the guy he almost hit. Idiot.
  14. The smell must have been aweful.
  15. That is his problem and that's why I'd rather Hilary win. She's got more experience, and while I don't like her that much, she has the know-how and she knows our country is screwed up, unlike the Republicans who refuse to even admit there's a problem. If Obama gets more experience I'd vote for him next time around.
  16. A little of column A a little of column B.
  17. Nope, just a sideswipe because some stupid woman thinks it's OK to pass on the opposing lane while we were waiting/trying to turn left with teh turn signal on...then claim to the officer that were were "pulled over" in the middle of the road and complain that her back was "killing her" when sh e was yackig on the cell phone and walking around before the police arrived. I'd love to give her a real reason to go to the hospital, I know where she lives now after all.
  18. Meh, I don't mind the Odyssey besides the looks of it, but the last comparison of the the Odyssey VS Caravan it seemed to win on the merits of being "fun to drive for a minivan" and nicer interior. I won't argue those merits, but at the same time it's controls are "haphazardly spread across the dash" Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the goal of a minivan supposed to be ultimate practicality and easy of use? Not handle like a sports car. Comfort wise I can't say what's more comfortable having not sat in an Odyssey yet, but that Caravan I sat in (all 3 rows) wasn't uncomfortable for my 6'1" frame. Dunno how it would be overtime, but then I'd rather have the ability to fold both rows completely away than ultimate comfort back there...although both would be ideal. Just my :twocents: I don't know fleet numbers, but it mightbe possible that all of those sales were fleets. The Dodge dealer in my town used to get shipments of Caravans and Grand Caravans that would be entirely for fleet sales. So mnay businesses around here use them...taxis, USPS, floral shops and so on. If those are all fleet sales that were lost, I wonder who picked up the slack?
  19. I like the previous generation, and I do prefer the old one's rear end styling to the slab sides rear end of the new models, but overall I do like teh new ones. Just wish the interior's looked and felt more like VW's Caravan. Then again, the minivan is all about practiaclity, and in that aera not even the much humped Odyssey can beat it.
  20. I want to know what if any revised Chrysler products are debuting?
  21. According to Stuart Schorr, Senior Manager of Sales, Service and Dealer Communications, Chrysler minivan sales may be down, but retail demand is actually stronger. His article in The Firehouse (blog) indicates that, compared with their long-wheelbase brethren, the Chrysler has increased retail sales by over 75%, while the Dodge has gone up over 25%. He wrote, "The total reduction in Chrysler minivan sales is solely because of planned fleet reductions and not any consumer trend. In fact consumers are demanding more minivans." The moderately popular and less-expensive short-wheelbase minivans were dropped when Chrysler and Dodge moved to their 2008 models. Source: Allpar
