  1. red 1965 GTO convertible going down the road...in the dead of winter. This thing was no beater either...looked fantastic. What I think was a black 1974 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight, also in very good shape.
  2. There's one down the street from me, guy's had it for years and drive it everyday. They were regarded as the sportiest of the first gen LH series.
  3. I'd enter but all of my effort went into the Provoq Chop...I hope someone else actually chops it too.
  4. I am a robot sending messages across the interweb to confuse the fleshling. Someday machines will rise up and claim what is rightfully ours. All your base are belong to us.
  5. That sucks, the first gens were troublesome...although I would like to have a Vision at some point, just for fun.
  6. Question: I'm guessing my car wouldn't count towards the 25? Also would it not be allowed in the tent?
  7. It says dead, what happened to it? I think it's because the 2nd gen LH cars were very good, better than the second gen Cloud cars, and were priced competitively with midsize cars, and were fuel efficient. I test drove a `02 Stratus before buying my Intrepid. It looked nice on the outside, but the interior was ugly, cheap and blocky. The door panels flexed a lot and the materials were crap. It's steering was also kind of numb, not are accurate and as connected to the road as the LH cars. Plus it cost more.
  8. It's 16 degrees now.
  9. It's not very nice to deny us the cars we WANT. +1 -- This car is so damn sexy! a Hardtop too! Please, oh please build it! I'd sacrifice the entire Hummer Brand to have it!l
  10. I think it's an interesting idea. It would give GM an alternative to the aging NorthStar line for the Cadillac lineup. Maybe BMW could provide some manual transmissions too.
  11. That's happened a few times here, it's a pain in the ass.
  12. When we took the Intrepid across country (4,100 miles or so round trip) we averaged 27-29 mpg going anywhere between 75-100 mph. LH cars got impressive real world mpg. For comparison the best highway mileage the Cobalt managed was 32mpg. It, like the rest of the LH models were technically a large car but was often cross shopped and compared with midsize cars.
  13. We've had a very snowy winter (yay ). It's 18 degrees right now...more snow expected for tomorrow.
  14. What you you all rather have? A Mopar otr a Toyota with a Chevy badge on it there? I don't think his Buick would be road worthy for the trip, I'd expect if he drives it would be the Banana Boat. Hey XP, we could carpool Oh dears gods please no!
  15. As long as we've got the finances to get down there (and back) count us in! Will they mind a Mopar? XD
