Adios Isuzu
Took them long enough. they tried to deny it for so long but it's obvious when you've got two rebadged, subpar products and nothing in the feature, you've got no where to go but home.

Cars of the last ten years you would consider "unique"
I'd even put the LX in there because it represents the rebirth of the affordable, large, American (yeah yeah, it uses E-Class parts I know) RWD, V6 or V8 powered car.

Shadow's Dead
One is a blue 1969 Barracuda with a 340/manual and some rare features like factory AC and the other is a orange 1970 `Cuda with a 340/column shifter automatic and power steering. The `69 was driven 2 years ago and the `70 has sat awaiting restoration. The cars are in my dad's name, who no longer lives with us (divorce) otherwise I'd be driving the `69 all the time when the weather was good. I posted a thread with photos some time ago. Here's a couple photos. As for the caravan, it's a 1986 Caravan LE, Mitsubishi (I think) 4-banger (don't remember the displacement) with 3-speed auto. we took it off the road 3 years ago or so and put the Shadow on because it was better on gas, and to do some work to it, I forget what. All I know is the work was done and it sat in the garage for a while, a year and a half or so. I moved it out into the driveway so I could actually get at thing in the garage. It's sat there since. Hasn't been started since I moved it. I want to start it but not sure what I need to do and how to accurately check the fluids while it's sitting uphill. As for the Shadow, I haven't looked under the hood yet, but my mom took it to the mechanic who said the water pump and hoses need to be replaced.

NY 2008 Preview: Production Pontiac ST pickup to appear
I'm still sad the Magnum is being discontinued. I don't see the point. Of course it's a slower seller than the Charger, because this is American, and we most people would rather have their gas sucking SUVs and CUVs even though they don't really need them. Besides, if they are still producing the 300 Touring for the European market, the tooling is still all there. If the Touring is made at a different plant (I can't remember), make the Magnum in that plant, it can be a lower volume model. Sure, it's lower roof compromises some cargo area, but it still holds a lot more than the Charger or comparable sedan. Plus the hatch is hinged to allow bigger objects to get in it. CMG picture in the other thread showed it had no problem fitting large objects into it. Interior I never cared for but I could easily live with it, plus the refresh, that lasted for about half a year, fixed my complaints inside. I personally love the magnum and have since it came out, my mom actually wanted one too (if only we could afford one). Someday I want to pick up a 3.5 AWD model for family/stuff hauling. It should stick around and the Sportwagon should come here, there's a niche for them, ask Subaru and Volvo.

Yeah, there's a bunch of stereo equipment in the house, I was thinking of trying to sell some of those on craigslist.

Dodge sells first 2008 Challenger SRT8
That's insane. They're already sold out for 2008.

Camaro vs. The Competition
I just hope that's not the Camaro's production shifter. I always liked the automatic shifter in the Mustang. So far I'm liking the Camaro's interior the best, I really like how they pushed the envelope and even are using integrated controls. The Challenger's glock shifter is push badass though.

Current TV shows of which you are a huge fan...
My girlfriend loves Desperate Housewives and I will never understand why. I tried watching it with her twice and both times I gave up. Last time I made an effort was soem episode with a poorly CGed Tornado and special effects that would look bad in a Power Rangers episode. Oh wait, I did actually make it through one episode, where some lady spread some dead lady's ashes in a baseball field and the family in a Nissan Quest were total pricks.

Shadow's Dead
I thought so too The Cuda's continue to collect dust, but protected from the elements. The Caravan is not protected, and I don't know if it'll even start. Last time it was moved it was pushed by a certain big Buick. And yeah, the situation blows hard, I plan to rant about it at some point so prepare for a good sized and bitchy read

Shadow's Dead
Counting the Cudas? 6 now. We have 7 total. We normally have 3 in use, and my mom got a car as an Xmas gift, I haven't posted pics of it yet. It's not new or fuel efficient, I can tell you that, but it needs a little work before it can be made road worthy. Like I said, my car is fine, but I can't drive it or any other car, which means my girlfriend has to come with me to work to do tehd riving until I can scrounge up the $700 f**king dollars to reinsure myself. My mom can't drive stick and no one else can drive my car because it's not insured , so that leaves the Prizm and my girlfriend to do the driving until something can be done to fix this.

Considering I had a brain fart in the other thread, you are forgiven.

Shadow's Dead
Well, not dead, but certainly out of commission. The water pump $h! the bed, and so it's leaking antifreeze like crazy. Needs to hoses apparently too. That ;eaves us down to 1 car, the Prizm. What's wrong with my car? Absolutely nothing, but I can't drive it and neither can anyone else because my car insurance got canceled, which is another rant for another thread. So...sucks ass. I wonder where teh water pump is on the 2.5...

Not surprised, the small cars of the 90's got excellent fuel economy that shame the newer "economy" cars. Coupe died with the first generation.
- Surprise?

A 5-speed Neon might not be a bad choice. They drive pretty well and are pretty reliable (unlike the first gens).
