What Are You Listening To?
Only club music I heard willingly was in strip clubs. But I wasn't really paying attention to the sounds there. I had a long period where I was into 50s rock, but they've made very very little of it since the Beatles broke. Oh, there's been a bunch of underground rockabilly stuff since, but it doesn't have staying power with me anymore. Then again, this would sound pretty cool oozing from a rolling B-59 coupe.

More power to ya! Some of that 'synth stuff' certainly was catchy, and it's very light so it can be fun. Or so I assume. For the first time in decades, I've made a distinct musical preference change. 'Destructured' is how I think of it. Something soothing about the throb of industrial machinery over distant screaming ~ https://mydeepdark.bandcamp.com/track/deepdark-emily-rose Or perhaps I'm simply in the early stages of a mental delamination. :shrugs:- Random Thoughts Thread

This is your specific problem. Not every vehicle out there is an intended version/ copy of a mercedes, most OEMs build their own vehicles, for their customers in a given segment. In fact, almost NONE non-MB's are expressly intended to be MB-substitutes. - - - - - The issue with the LC is it's build quality doesn't support it's price; not even close. Toyota seems to believe they can Gee-Whiz you past the details with the overall shape ~- GM News: Rumorpile: GM's Maven Plans an AirBnb-Like Service for Your Car

Hotel rooms do skeeve me out a bit. Once you need/want to rent a vehicle this way more than, say, 5 days a month, you will pay more over time. Maintenance on new vehicles is very minor (I change my oil twice/year), and my insurance (not at all minimal coverage) is a little over $2/day. These are not oppressive costs. The vast majority of people don't pay to park their personal vehicle. I dunno- this doesn't make fiscal sense to me, but everyone's situations are different. Inner city use seems to be the only scenario that makes sense; maybe that's the only areas these services are offered (I didn't read into it).- GM News: Rumorpile: GM's Maven Plans an AirBnb-Like Service for Your Car

That's what was said, but at that time I don't know if there was more than 1 model Buick built in BOTH markets... so there was little logistical reason behind that explanation I could see.- Review: 2018 Lexus LC 500

Same here- asked my wife one day driving behind a slow-poking MB what she thought it meant and yep; she hesitantly guessed '4-speed automatic'.- Review: 2018 Lexus LC 500
Ironically, the LC is outselling the LS, which only moved 116 units in Jan. The big lexyota is on it's way out. I expressed my issues with the exterior design of the LC when it came out- it has fatal stylistic flaws in some views that make it appear 'broken backed' (no pun/insinuation there). Performance may be very good, but I do believe it is vastly overpriced. Sold 176 units in Jan.- would not hold my breath that greatly improves.- GM News: Rumorpile: GM's Maven Plans an AirBnb-Like Service for Your Car

I wonder how many motorists think '4-matic' means '4-speed automatic'?- Buick News: Buick To Drop Name Badge Beginning in 2019

Golden Sahara II, originally built & shown by George Barris out of a '53 Lincoln Capri circa '56, rebuilt & improved circa '60, had such advanced features as automatic braking. World known & beloved in custom car circles, disappeared from public view in 1969. Survived in private collection ever since, owner passed last year, GS II coming to auction in May. Going to be very expensive... • Full story here •- Buick News: Buick To Drop Name Badge Beginning in 2019
That's nonsense. But since you mention it, I wonder how much mercedes saves by not writing out the model name on 2.3 million vehicles annually. After all, if a "BUICK' badge costs GM $2, such a badge from Daimler must cost $500 each, right? 'Priced Like No Other' ™- Buick News: Buick To Drop Name Badge Beginning in 2019
No offense, but I don't see any logic in this. Buick sold 220K in the US in '17- that's greater than a large number of other brands for whom no one talks about them going belly up.- GM News: Rumorpile: GM's Maven Plans an AirBnb-Like Service for Your Car
