  1. Yeah... Roll down the windows and enjoy the real air. I never get that. Every time I can my windows are down. I hate A/C for the most part
  2. The CT6 AWD system is RWD applied regardless.
  3. I believe it is, but U must keep in mind that the AWD system in the CTS is mated to the regular LFX engine with 320HP. That being said.. the NEW AWD system debuting in the CT6 would not have required a de-tuning of the engine as it is capable of handling up to 958 lbs of torque
  4. The thing is that it really wasn't bad if U actually took the time to read the manual or even just play with it. I remember seeing idiots hitting the silver/metal piece thinking they were buttons when they were just markers for one's fingers to kno where the touch point was.
  5. C7 Z06 did a 2:44.6 at the Lightning Lap... They ran 15+ laps in 100 degrees no heatsoak 2016 CTS-V 2:56.8 which is the FASTEST 4 Door to ever run the LL 2016 ATS-V Coupe 2:59.2 2016 ATS-V Sedan 2:59.8 Wow!!! Looking at those on the list... how many are built by GM and I will say it again.. I don't care what U think of General Motors, they have the absolute best automotive engineering on the planet. No other manufacturer does as much sheer performance RIGHT, and still can be driven as a daily driver with no real thoughts of having to keep a Tow truck driver on speed dial. Look in the first four columns of shortest times.. GM has 16 vehicles. The closest to them is all purpose built Sports car having Porsche with 13. Cadillac... I said CADILLAC.. makes an appearance 3 times before U see one of the "World's Ultimate Driving Machines," Car and Driver's baby.. show up.
  6. Well of course not, the S-class is the best car in the world. I wish for once, someone would actually explain to WHY they make this claim automatically. Yes it has some nice tech and great appointments, but the reality is that all U are getting is what U pay for. At $100K, it doesn't do anything really better than a vehicle costing $10-15K less
  7. I down vote almost everything Wings says because I think what he says is normally BS and Ford Adware. I also do the same for Smk concerning Mercedes.

  9. Um at what point is 4385 "awfully close" to a 4785 lbs S550? That's a 400lb difference
  10. Most likely there is gonna be a Chevy or a Buick getting the Platform without it standard by 2018. I also think Cadillac's intent.. was to bring to the table a complete system without really charging for it to one up most of the competition 'sides Audi. It should be noted that the AWD system being showcased in the CT6 is Sport mode = 20/80 front/rear Tour= 40/60 Snow mode= 50/50
  11. 3.6L Level 3 move up to 3.0TT Level 2 is 45lbs... the 3.6L Level 2 to 3.0TT Level 2 is 124lbs. . I'm thinking the intercoolers and possibly a different type of exhaust system. 13. The performance is mystifying considering the humble beginnings, weight, and age of the vehicle. Hard to believe that we've seeing this car since 2007. I still remember the absolute "WOW!" people let go of, almost in unison, when Bumblebee suddenly became this car on the screen. Best marketing EVER!!!
  14. That is the plan. If its one thing I never do is count the Mustang out. Personally I really like the car, but not over a Camaro. Not then and not now. The back end of the fastback is pretty sexy, while the front absolutely leaves me seeing "generic Ford." Its like they phoned in the front fascia. Performance-wise, the GT350 better have done it's homework before it shows up to class (First day for the kids so excuse the pun ) or its gonna get schooled.
  15. People need to go out and test drive a CTSvSport. I kno stayed U're thinking.. Larger, more luxury.. But in truth the power and driving dynamics of that car absolutely will mystify you. After that... imagine its smaller, even more sport-tuned but with more power and torque... louder, lighter. What you will have experienced is a Stingray with 2 extra doors and an actual $15,000 price drop. Just like that... Its worth the price over the comparable and respectable Mustang GT.

  17. Personally I have never purchased a base model, with even my old 2011 LLT being a fully loaded RS package that in 2010, stickered about $4500 less than Chevy is gonna offer the SS for in 2016. I see absolutely no reason why they should price a 455 hp and 455 lb.-ft. of torque borderline super car, coming almost loaded to the teeth, for less than or even equal to the price that a Mustang with less HP, amenities, and refinement. I really think GM should allow the option of deleting a few things, but standing fast on the MSRP. The Camaro SS is not a car for people looking for a bargain. Its a sports coupe that is born from Cadillac and Corvette. No way in the world that should be value priced. Adding a delete option for a few things would not be a bad thing though. A delete of the summer tires, Brembo brakes, and coolers for the differential, oil, and transmission fluid would shave the difference in price down to about $2000 since to get the same amenities from the GT one has to buy the Performance package for $2500. Chevy is going straight to what the Mustang GT Premium is offering in price. That car is priced at $37,200. In the SS, it comes with different Brembo brakes, run-flats, new diff, transmission, and engine oil cooling system. Not to mention a health power and torque advantage over the Ford. It seems like Chevy decided to price their cars for what they were worth. Cheap SOBs be damned. Buy the Ford, get beat at the track BTW. Another factor in this may come from two things. GM still has to comply with CAFE, and limiting the number of SSs might be an issue with that, not to mention the fact that the Camaro is possibly more expensive to make now that it is coming to the U.S. for production at Lansing Grand River
  18. Always do. While I will not call the Continental unattractive, because it is a nice looking car, but I see it as nothing special in the same way I see the Chrysler 300. IOronic that both attempt to pull cues from a Bentley Ya, but the Chrysler at least has a Hemi Yeah.. it does. Can't hate on the Hemi

  20. Not having any issues with Edge. Loving it. Of course I haven't tried to post a new article yet either
  21. ...... but... it's all wheel drive It is AWD. And that's fine. But it's FWD-based AWD that is riding on a mainstream platform. It is an acceptable stopgap for D6, if the price is right. But it is no more a flagship, or even premium model than the Cadillac XTS, and for the exact same reason. I agree... and that's the reason I would have moved past that Lincoln display and went straight to this like a bat outta hell CT6, CTS, ATS.. SEXY
  22. Its a gorgeous concept, but again, like the Continental is a concept.
  23. While I hope to hell this is all false. I have to ask. Why is it OK to buy vehicles made in Japan, Europe, and Korea then? Outside of the quality fears, what exactly is the motivation behind people being hypocritical on this matter? Personally I hate all of them. But what we have here is the possibility of an American company selling us foreign made product versus a Foreign company selling us Foreign made product. Just asking. Its like my confusion as to why so many Americans hate the UAW, yet to get back at GM, Ford, and Chrysler, decided to buy a VW, BMW, or Benz despite them being made by a Union that is much more Gov't intertwined than our own auto union.
  24. Mustang has outsold Camaro by 26,710 units at the 7 month mark. Thanks brand new and heavily discounted old pre-redesigned Mustang has outsold the completely, old 7 model year, old Camaro with some potential Camaro buyers opting for it's two-seater sister instead.. to the tune of 21,101 units and a ATP even on the conservative side of about $70,000, or about $35,000 more than the average Mustang. The choice Ford fools have. LMFAO as U constantly also bring up Cadillac sales being down and then use the "7 month mark" units BULL$h! as a kicker. Just so U kno.. Cadillac is down 2.4% and still beating that $h! of a brand Lincoln by 40K units. Ironically Lincoln is cheaper, CUV heavier and still not beating Caddy's numbers with only ONE CUV vs Lincolns THREE Thanks
  25. Who knows? I still think GM should turn the Canyonado into a nice Jimblazer
