  1. this guy is likely to loose a whole lot of money, he currently has already lost about 1 billion i think if not more... its too late for him to pull out, he cant do it all at once, it would throw the entire market into a depression... no one can or will buy 100 million shares... if he sells he must do it slowly, and the more he sells the lower it goes... he cant get out wiht $20 a share... if he starts to pull out too much it'll be about 12-15$ before hes done... Kirk is stuck in it... and has very small leverage... but he doesnt mind gambling... thats why he uses big risk companys...
  2. well... large rebates are good for financing... if you have negitive equity, or no down, sometimes the rebates really help you get into a loan...
  3. the reason behind letters is because no one but the enthusiasts care to remember them... they just remember the badge... like the other day i saw a lexus on the side of the road... it blew its tranny, because the powersteering feel of and bounced off the ground and took his tranny out too... all i could say... look at that lexus broken down... i dont know the coupes number/name whatever... soo... it's just for brand recognition... hey did you see that Mercedies... did you see that BMW? sure some people might understand if you said Woo... 745! wow! or SL65! DAMN! but when you own a MB or a BMW or a Lexus, you care about... the brand you want to be prestige... you want people to know you have that kind of make... and if someone might say, ohh you got a camry... who makes camry again? Chevy? (and dont laugh cause i've had people ask that)
  4. is it just me or does a standard Chevy cobalt or HHR have a better HVAC then the escalde... come on no chrome outlines?
  5. do we have any years?
  6. haha! toy companys... lol if the chassis will be avalible at LA it will be in november of 06...
  7. There now the phrase is right :P ... Disturbing
  8. I dont know the answer, but... which vehicle was the first production vehicle, and for the matter of making it more challenging, the first concept... to include turnsignals on the mirror? (doesnt have to be in the mirror)
  9. Yes you're right. That's why I had a disclaimer to disclose the fact, I didn't want to offend you. I was merely making an example about how disturbing spelling can be. Often times, a simple spelling mistake might be disturbing, confusing, or even incorrect. hrmm... look what you have me doing. Trying to do my best and make no gramatical errors due to the fact I dont want to start a pissing match. Because english is my worst subject; however, thats water under the bridge. I suppose I'll piss into the wind...
  10. As some will notice on some of the new California Liscense plates... with the 7 digits and the cursive writing of "California" some of the plates come with an additional phrase "150 sequential years" at the bottom of the plates... what does it mean ? (I dont know the answer)
  11. what costs more? Word of mouth advertisement? or Standard Advertisment? Which is more effective?
  12. personally if GM started ramping up production of v8's they could quite possibly out do the smaller blocks in expense. and the consumer will benifit as well by having a better driving experiance. seeing that a v8 has a combustion ever 90* of crankshaft travel, vrs the v6 of 120* and a jarring 180* per crankshaft rotation on the inline 4 banger... likely you're going to get a happier audience with the slightly more expensive smother acceloration of a v8.
  13. "Sez Who" -Lutz
  14. so likely there was ice and sand on the road together... not a good combo...
  15. It's quite disturbing that some board members do not know how to spell quit. No offense... it just popped into my head... so i felt i had to use quite, and quit together :)
  16. well i saw one at the auto show in anahiem... and it look great, i didnt notice if it had that thing around the front grill... but it looked awesome in person,....
  17. reminds me of cruela devills car...
  18. Toyota may make goobs of profit here... but other places GM is pounding them in sales and profit... like austrailia... i think Holden was making something like 3k a car or something and i think toyota was -300 bucks per car or something... it was an article i read a while back... toyota doesnt make money everywhere... but gm makes it everywhere but N.A.
  19. when its a reality you'll see kirk pull out... and BofA wouldnt loan money to Kirk if they felt it wasnt a safe investment, heck BofA has a 10% share of GM as well as Kirk... those are 2 people/companys that wont let it happen...
  20. its a steal right now... with almost 10% dividends... that beats inflation... for a long term investment i consider it gold... thats why i'm investing in it :P
  21. you never ordered any 06's? or 07's?
  22. if i remember correctly either the tahoe or trailblazer is #1 for SUV's... but... i dont get why people dont understand... i remeber a few years back i was arguing with my brother who was bigger, ford or GM... now people are saying toyota, but they are still a few million units back...
  23. wait wait... the car was just serviced and he lost control... how fast was he going? or was something not fixed properly i.e. brakes?
  24. okay... yes they are trying to get out of doing the work... because they know however long they spend fixing it they wont be reimbersed by gm, nor you... so it's a waste of their time... get you're salesman involved... tell him that if they dont fix it, that you want to return the truck... (assuming if it has less then 200 miles, you havent had it for a month) if you lived in southern cali, i'd say for you to bring it here...
  25. they were attributing it to fleet sales...
