  1. So much disdain for one of the best cars GM has ever made. You know what? We deserve what we get. Enjoy your Toyotas.
  2. You got a parts car? For the LeSabre?
  3. Is anyone mssing a set of altezzas for a 92-95 Civic, because I think I've found them?
  4. All of 'em.
  5. Any G body Regal 81 and up a mid-60s Skylark convertible 61-62 LeSabre/Invicta hardtop/vert I could be coaxed into the new LaCrosse, depending if it's in my means
  6. +1 I'll add the IROC-Z and, thanks to Camino, the 73-77 Chevy A-bodies.
  7. Grand Prix GTO Firebird Fiero Solstice G8 I also think that a Pontiac balls-to-the-wall supercar was and is a must for the brand (assuming things turn around).
  8. ION was a failure so something had to be done. The current Astra was the only compact available at the time (the Cobalt clone already went to Pontiac). In retrospect, I'd have given the Cobalt clone to Saturn (where its interior design is quite similar to the Aura) and let Pontiac or Buick wait for the next-gen Astra.
  9. If the dash is good, that alone makes it worth it. The body panels look to be in great shape, a rarity for a 33 year old car sitting in someone's yard on the East Coast. Do it. Doitdoitdoitdoitdoit.
  10. The Chinese should be careful. Japan and Taiwan (two countries with a long-standing hatred of China) should immediately align with the US should a conflict ensue. Come to think of it, ,most or all of the Far East would probably jump on our side. China's made a lot of enemies in its history.
  11. And I've been touching every mushroom I see, hoping I'll get taller.
  12. I know you were thinking of dropping in some 300m parts into various places, so you might want to look into getting a wrecked 300m and pull out what you want. FWIW, my father had a 93 Eagle Vision with the 3.5, and it ran great until he inadvertently went into a huge puddle at highway speeds (at night in a rainstorm) and water rushed into the intake and snapped the #3 rod. Good luck with whatever route you go, and I hope it gets back on the road in no time.

    Pie

blueberry pie > * (especially if it's blueberry crumb pie)
  14. It's not a loan. It's a "financial improvement initiative" j/k. In all seriousness, this can't be good. We're all in for a bumpy ride.
  15. Personally, I prefer the 00-05 Deville's styling over the 06+ DTS, which IMO doesn't wear the Art & Science front and rear fascias very well. I think WMJ's analysis is spot on, though I think you'll have less of a hassle with a 2000-up car as opposed to your receptionist's mid-90s car. Just throwing this out there, but how about a Lucerne (your favorite engine) or an Aurora for a second car?
  16. I've already been to Texas. The population was very cordial to me, and I'm pretty sure I'm welcome back anytime.
  17. Step into the Wayback Machine, Camino I've always seen IROCs with the stripes (unless they were painted or clones). RS Camaros had the same body-color ground effects, but no stripes.
  18. From what I remember reading, the 6.0 is a very thirsty engine. So much so that you might as well go for a 3500 with the 8.1L big block. Beautiful truck, though, and very hard to say no to it. Maybe some aftermarket mods and/or a tune could bring the MPGs up.
  19. And now, the world's largest taillight lens:
  20. FAIL MORE FAIL STILL MORE FAIL Git-R-Done Red Hot: Silver Bullet:
  21. And they say the SS badge is watered down...
  22. Presenting: the car that in 1992 made every Camaro guy want to blow his brains out "Nice LeBaron." "No, it's a Maserati." Can't laugh too hard at this one - my first car was a non-turbo Colt. But in the spirit of the thread, here goes.
