Crossings
These are nice pictures. I really like cable-stayed bridges. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of them in California.

2009 Pontiac Vibe GT
It will continue to attract younger buyers to the BPG dealers. The only thing lacking on the old car was a real engine. If this gets the 2.4 liter engine, it should do well.

2008 Focus at the Georgian College Autoshow
The new Focus is astoundingly unattractive. It's almost like they wanted people to think about the old Ford Escort. I've spent lots of time driving a '07 Focus. It's fun to drive and economical. Too bad the wagon model is gone.

Delta II engineered accept hybrid engines from day one
This is a Saab that I may be interested in, even with the funky looks. I haven't liked any Saabs since the bathtub-like 900's of the '80s.

How long will you wait for a parking spot?
There was a study a few years ago that showed when someone was waiting for a parking space, it would take longer for the departing party to load up and leave. I generally park way back in the parking lot unless I'm driving my beater Honda.

Don't change your oil every 3000 miles! Because CR & CNN SAYS SO!
As a general rule, I change oil every 5000 miles, but because I put so few miles on my vehicles, I change the Silverado's and Honda's oil once a year, and the Lexus every 6 months.

-----> Julie's new Mercedes Benz
Very nice, a real Mercedes-Benz. I also noticed the missing hood ornament right way. The most prominent visual cue to distinguish the 240D from the 300D was the hubcabs. Has a nice classic look to them. Interior looks to be in great shape. MB steering wheels were also said to be large so that all the instruments were visible through the spokes.

Lutz reveals B Pillar on the Camaro
Did anybody seriously think that the Camaro was going to be a hardtop? It was hard enough to make a business case for the Camaro with it competing with less expensive coupes. The rear side window probably would also need to be reshaped to go down, and that would have made for a less attractive greenhouse.

Former Toyota USA President Jim Press Never Owned A Toyota Or Lexus
He probably got free company cars to drive but never owned. I could imagine him owning classic American iron.

The GM cars in my family
Mercedes is the most common brand among my siblings and my parents. Only I have a GM vehicle, my Silverado, and that may be going away soon.

Front license plates
Some law-enforcement agencies have license-plate reading cameras that are constantly scanning for stolen vehicles and such. The front plate would obviously help in this effort, though this is another incremental step for Big Brother, along with all the other camera enforcement systems. I prefer having no front plate, and I've left it off two of my three vehicles.
