    Hey, Z

I am a Corvette guy so this fits just fine for me. I always lusted on those late 60's vettes. Dude it is a bargain as Camino says. Usually the car will go well north of 20K.

    Hey, Z

Ooooooooooo. The first one is for me. I wish I had a barn.
  6. Crow suppliers have moved from the car being a vaporware to it now being too expensive. Just ignore them.
  7. [source: Motor Authority] Warren encouraging GM to move corporate HQ with tax breaks Detroit has long been the heart of America's automotive industry, but 2009 has been a major period of upheaval for the city, with further shocks expected to come - including the possibility that General Motors will move its corporate headquarters out of Detroit downtown area and into a neighboring city. Moving away from Detroit could make sense for a newly restructured GM, especially considering that a bankruptcy proceeding appears to be all but inevitable at this point and relocating the new company could do much for its public image. One of the new sites being proposed for the GM corporate headquarters is in Warren, Michigan, which neighbors Detroit. Speaking with The Detroit News, the mayor of Warren, Jim Fouts, has revealed that his municipality is planning to offer GM a number of financial incentives to relocate there. These will include significant tax breaks for construction of new offices, as well as lower overall income taxes and reduced crime. Whether or not GM accepts the offer is anyone's guess, but considering that it already has a bustling development unit in the form of the Warren Technical Center, the new deal could shape up to be one of the company's most viable options.
  8. That was 77 years ago when GM took the title of #1 auto manufacturer.
  9. Following can possibly be inferred: 1. Opel and SAAB may not have a "close" relationship as GM has stated once they are cut. 2. Holden may possibly stay with GM after the storm. 3. Opel or SAAB may have a hot product on their hands that they will not be unable to supply the engine from Europe.
  10. Happy Birthday and keep charged up.

    Hey PCS

Congrats Mr. I guess you loved the kidney grills with arrows more than the kidney grills with rondels. Great vehicle.

  15. Went to Greenville, SC to play golf. Played at Clemson's Walker Golf Course - a gorgeous place. Pretty country there in SW corner of SC. Got to eat some good vineagar and mustard based BBQ. It was the first long distance drive in the Beemer. Not a bad drive. I had some car-flirting with two blonde chicks on my way back. The economy has taken the toll. Normally I-95 is swarmed with NEners who are travelling to get to south on long weekends regardless of the time of the day. Yesterday was not the case. On one leg I had my cruise control set for 57 miles without any interruptions from south of Brunswick, Ga right till I entered Jacksonville. That is not normal, since you always have to break and accelerate when slow pokes and fast gushers are prowling.
  16. No the second article does point that out if you read the penultimate paragraph.

  19. This piece is one of the most convincing I have seen about argument against CAFE as part of continuation Car and Driver has been battling against the CAFE. People gotta know that it is not Obama but the hacks in the Congress who are playing major role in signing the regulation and they have shown that they can go against Obama if needed.
  20. GMTG I think it is a gorgeous vehicle and the mileage is incredibly low for the age. However, for the age of the car financially it will not make sense to me to invest, especially if you are going to get a loan that will take 2-3 years to pay. Consider this, if you wait another three months or so, since you have already waited for about 4 months since you were looking for the Suburban, you can get off Aura's lease and then hunt down vehicles. That will give you better peace of mind. I know it is difficult, but hang in there, get over the Aura lease and then go for a better vehicle.
  21. Happy Birthday and Keep those designs coming.

  24. Like how Crapry is still using 5-speed auto in 4 cylinder models when its competition even GM, Ford are using 6-speed auto in a 4-cylinder midsized car?
