  1. Great as always. How have you been BV?
  2. Holden should be here. Uncle Bob had a great idea and it should be implemented.

  4. The 2.8TT will not make sense as it is already on sale, and gaining only 50 odd hp will not be something to brag about. The 3.0L TT is a possibility. I am guessing 3.6TT for only reason that will make the people who bought the V-6 Camaro crave to build off the turbos.
  5. Which V-6? 3.6 SIDI?
  6. Agreed there. Move on. There are many a things in life which will not go your way. Life does not stop just because you did not get what you wanted because guess what you will never always get what you wanted. Such situations should make you tougher not make you cry.
  7. [source: General Motors] A Letter From a Disgruntled Camaro Owner October 23, 2009 We receive quite a few letters from customers over here at Chevrolet. Some are good, and some offer "constructive criticism." Normally we don't publish them, but we really felt a need to share this letter. The author, Roger B., gave us permission to share portions of the letter about his 2010 Camaro. - Adam Denison, Chevrolet Communications
  8. This. His analysis might even be true. But it is like jailing a baby who was born in a meth infested trailer park of West Virginia on the grounds that he will be a future drug dealer. First starting off with a tirade of GM notgoingtobuildtheVOLT.com to detergent box filled engine compartment to no batteries exist to PR stunt to cost of ownership the tirade never ends. The rant has been going on and on to a point of being hackneyed. If people did not invest in a new technology and try to look at cost disadvantage from the start there will be no fruits of a technology for mass consumption. If GM was really blowing smoke with its Li technology companies like Peugeot, Mitsubishi, Nissan will not invest in the same plug in concept. The concept brought forth by GM is now being studied or being wanted to be used by many major manufacturers barring Toy and Honda - who secretely must be pursuing it too.
  9. Oldest Customer of 2010 Camaro [source: General Motors] When most people retire they take up golfing, but 101 year old Virgil Coffman is living life in the fast lane. The active centenarian recently became the oldest known living owner of a new 2010 Camaro. Despite initial concern from the sales associate, Coffman knew exactly what he wanted when he purchased the 400 horsepower, bright yellow, Transformers edition Camaro. Impressed by the overall design, Virgil was ultimately sold on the cars' easy handling. After owning nearly 40 cars in his lifetime, he follows the philosophy that if you want something, get it. These days Virgil says he can't go anywhere without strangers asking him about his car and he's already planning road trips for next summer.
  10. +1. Family is there to provide a launching pad for you to fly. Get off from there; you are a strong and persistent guy, you will do fine.
  11. Priceless
  12. I think I will get together with Blu and Camino on Sunday then.
  13. Let me know how things work out. I will plan to leave DTW accordingly.
  14. Come on Camino. Let us all meet and talk our guts out. Snap some pics. May be it will help you to get out.
  15. It would be great if we meet in Pitt. Wonder Camino and Blu can make it too.
  16. Okay. I will see how the appointment goes and we will meet you probably around in the evening. Drew, are you inviting SMK for your birthday?
  17. I am not saying Heinricy is talentless. I have great respect for that guy. It is just that a 20 year old can really turn and dance car around.
  18. Gotcha. Yeah not typical.
  19. Because that is you. I would beat the day lights out of Schumacher in such a race with those vehicles you told. Be careful judging the age. Schumacher was running circles around Gerhard Berger, Jean Alesi who were almost 15 years senior, when he was only 20. If the BMW guy has proper track training then he is as good as Heinricy.
  20. Ahh Pelosi taking steps to save our environment from her own homeground.
  21. If you want semantics. Accord does mean compromise - for e.g. - an accord was signed by warring parties. How can it be in bad taste when Lexus does marketing with its RX-300 and had so called German engineers inspecting it and the ad said too bad it is not German? How is it in bad taste when Audi zoomed in its Q5 in a plethora of RX350's? How can you say it is in bad taste when you have Turd ads saying their truck xxx and our truck Biga$$ xxxx - the First ever Toyota Turd?
  22. [source: Detroit Free Press] GM Sees First Monthly Sales Increase in 21 Months By TIM HIGGINS Oct. 28, 2009 For the first time in 21 months, General Motors is on track to see its first monthly sales increase compared to the same time period a year ago, the company said today. While official results will be announced next week, all signs point to a good month, according to Mike DiGiovanni, GM's executive director of global market and industry analysis. "We're really having a good October," he said. DiGiovanni added that about 95% of the sales for the month are coming from the company's four core U.S. brands — Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac. A year ago, those brands comprised about 85% of the company's sales. GM is in the process of winding down Pontiac and Saturn and selling off Hummer and Saab after emerging from bankruptcy in July. "We're clearly getting behind us the brands we're phasing out," he said. GM sold 168,719 vehicles in October 2008, which was a 45.1% decrease from the same month in 2007, according to Autodata Corp.
  23. [source: Car and Driver] 2010 Lingenfelter Chevrolet Camaro SS - Auto Shows More muscle for Chevy's modern-day muscle car. BY JAKE HOLMES October 2009 Let's cut to the chase here: Lingenfelter has supercharged a Chevrolet Camaro SS to the tune of 750 hp, 324 more than the stock vehicle. The extra cojones come in part from of an LS7 (read: Corvette Z06) head, plus new forged pistons and an LS7 crankshaft that yield an 8.8:1 compression ratio. The addition of a Magnuson/Eaton supercharger to the Lingenfelter LS7, however, is responsible for the bulk of the power increase. The company also adds a heavy-duty fuel system, a new twin-disc clutch and flywheel assembly, and beefier rear axles to support the power gains. Numerous suspension changes are intended to keep all that power on the road, including Hotchkis springs, anti-roll bars, and subframe bracing; Sachs adjustable shocks; and custom 20-inch wheels with Pirelli tires. The Camaro receives a lower front fascia with splitter, a hood with heat extraction louvers, a carbon-fiber grille insert, deeper side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and new quad exhaust tips. Lingenfelter also adds a new steering wheel, machined aluminum pedals, Lingenfelter floor mats and seat embroidery, and a new rearview mirror that includes a video display—presumably for a backup camera. Lingenfelter's effort should be a quarter-mile scorcher—watch for it at the 2009 SEMA show.
