Are You Attracted To People.....
To me getting attracted to an older woman is only when she has power. Younger girls may have power but they cannot handle it. An older woman with power is like a Corvette Z-06 saying I am understated, but have gobs of raw power without tech nannies protecting you while you ride me. Wield me and thy shalt be blessed.

Road Trip to Northeast
We are hard hitters when it comes to driving long distances. I remember us driving about 14 hours non stop to WV from FL in pouring rain so 11 hours is not bad if weather holds. If not we will stop in middle somewhere. Drew your birthday may be a good excuse to visit Pitt. I have not checked maps yet to see how the routes will pan out. Camino, Ocn - let us meet on Sunday if possible.

To the Camera Geeks Out There
Okay I went to the store and compared the SX-20 and Rebel T1-I. Frankly DF SX-20 does not hold a candle in front of the T1-I. The T1-I is a very capable piece, I could not get a hold of 50D, however the guy showed me Nikon 5000D and D90. Two very much capable cameras. However, the more I read the more I am still inclined to the Canons. They just have phenomenal lens support. As for the Pentax, it does like punch of the D and N. Just see the review from dpreview.com and despite being a novice I tend to agree with their assessment about the K-7. So my main concern now comes to this: T1-I vs. 50D $778 vs. $1,161 18-55 lens vs. 28-135 L lens (The price delta reduces to $100 if I get body only) Video capability vs. No video capability Release Aug 2009 vs. Release Sep 2008 3.4 fps vs. 6.3 fps Despite being old the 50D has better optics compared to T1-I and they both share the same DIGIC IV processor. I think it frankly comes down to choosing between newer top of the line Cruze vs. 4-cylinder Malibu that share the same engine.

The SF Bay Bridge is CLOSED
Retrofitting our interstate system will cost us close to $3T. But it will also open up a tremendous job opportunity and bump the economy. The steel, workers, engineers and other resources should be Made in USA. Most of these bridges are over 40 years old. Dynamic stress fatigue is the number one cause of an older bridge collapse.

Road Trip to Northeast
Okay my fiancée and I will be "Runnin' with the Devil" for the second week of November. We leave from Detroit to Northeast between November 7 and November 13. I was wondering if any C&Gers around the areas that we are visiting would like to get together for breakfast/brunch/lunch/linner/dinner and shoot some air about GM and cars. Here are our tentative dates and times at the different locations. Nov 07 (Sat) - Leave Detroit 0700 - Cleveland possibly will meet Stang (Chris) - Continue to Philly (Overnight stop) Nov 08 (Sun) - Stay in Philly or possibly go to Hershey's - Back to Philly (Overnight stop) Nov 09 (Mon) - Spend morning in Philly and drive to NY (Overnight stop) Nov 10 (Tue) - Spend time in NY Nov 11 (Wed) - Spend time in NY drive to Boston (Overnight stop) Nov 12 (Thu) - Spend time in Bos Nov 13 (Fri) - Drive back to DTW I have met 3 of our members so far - Fly, Dave and NOS and I had good times with them. I hope to see as many of you as possible. Please let me know how your schedules workout and I will try to adjust mine along with yours.

Anyone seen
Those Stryker blue ones might be the rarest ones. One gorgeous vehicle that GM did not let have its prime time.

Are You Attracted To People.....
I think you may need to move. Frankly city like Chicago would be ideal for you, where you will have a great chance of meeting open minded people. Very few people can carry a long distance relationship. For most people out of sight = out of life. My fiancée and I have persisted for 3.5 years and still we cannot see ourselves together in near future because of job and economic circumstances, but we will fight on for us.

Wilmington plant reportedly has a buyer
The way Fisker is setting up the company and its powertrain it may very well look like a pilot exercise for GM when it comes to pushing Voltec. The relationship between them is very close. I will not be surprised if successful Fisker is bought by GM, provided it has funds.

- Wilmington plant reportedly has a buyer
I am glad that Wilmington goes to Fisker rather than Tata. Fisker at least has some relationship with GM (LNF 2.0DI Turbo Ecotec will propel the Karma).- Want two new Chevys?
Avalanche and Corvette for me too.- Want two new Chevys?

One less Japanese car on the road. Congratulations on the car. I guess we should start a mini-club for all the Malibu owners on the forum.- LeMons Update #3
