  1. TRANSLATION: "Let's see if the Malibu flops first"
  2. Wow... That's nice... The interior is excellent! We need the polished 18s STANDARD on EVERY car especially with the colored Cadillac logo. I've seen too many STS with the crappy, unappealing 17s. We also need the LED red/amber tailights... I'd LOVE for this to be the STS refresh! Eventhough it could use a little more exterior excitement (Apparently we've given up on drawing younger buyers as both the DTS and STS are geezer-like now in several ways)
  3. Yeah... Too bad we're too dumb to do something like that here. Instead we'd rather kill our own industry and call it "Capitalism" and "Better consumerism" Nothing like cutting your own throat and the throat of your neighbors; it's the american way!
  4. Meh... Front clip looks too "tacked on" now.
  5. $h! like this is why the Escalade is slowly, but surely NOT BEING TAKEN SERIOUSLY as a luxury utility.
  6. Oh wow! I didn't notice that... My bet is that GM asked these firms to go relatively mild on the mods so that it was still distinguishable as a Buick to the untrained eye. I dunno, IMO, SEMA hasn't been much to get excited over since the days of John Moss ended. Most of GM's cars are just stock models with "GM Accessories" (Which, I know, is kinda the point) But I do miss the days of SERIOUSLY modified factory cars being on the SEMA floor.
  7. Thanks for editing those, whoever did. I didn't know if we wanted to include these in the "GM @ Sema" coverage since they're aftermarket firms.
  8. Buick Lucerne by Rick Dore Kustoms: Buick Lucerne by Concept 1: My favorite is probably the Lucerne CST by Stainless... But none of them really appeal all that much to me.

  10. Low res. images.
  11. I think this is very sweet... Although it kinda reminds me of an Acura RSX. I really like the new Sebring (I think I might be in the minority here) and I hope it does well. Sure beats the hell out of the Malibu and current G6 sedan.
  12. Looks pretty good except for that "straight outta tha trailer park--ghetto code red" window tint.
  13. Once again, why aren't those wheels available as a(n) R.P.O.?
  14. Since when did Edmunds become Consumer Reports?!?!?! Jesus, talk about handicapping the thing right out of the gate (Because you know they'll judge it as if it were the top model)!!! I guess the top knotch model is too competitive for them to test or something. Ever drive a manual?!?!?!? I didn't think so... Maybe you should re-adjust your seat... [sorority girl voice] LIKE OHMYGOD!!!!!! LIKE...[/sorority girl voice]
  15. Okay... So, despite the spec sheet SAYING there is a lot of room, the Suburban gets chastised because you don't *think* there is a lot of room??!?!?! Last time I checked, spec sheets don't lie..... well, unless it's a spec sheet on horsepower in an asian car... then it might lie
  16. In my mind.... The GM Goodwrench, black #3 died when the 'man in black' died. Not to mention, with Toyota coming in, the media would just disgrace GM's name name out of the sport anyway by dragging it through the dirt. It's the end of an era... GM is out.
  17. Nah.... The media will gloss the new Tundras interior over just like they glossed the CRAP-tastic interior of the Ridgeline over. Remember: It's a Toyota and it'll get treated as such.... Oh, and remember too, it's the end of the world for Detroit.
  18. They did actually mislead people.
  19. Lots of BAD facts in this article.... The biggest of which includes the author stating that Chevrolet out sells Ford in trucks. If he can't get that right, then it's not even worth reading.
  20. Wow... That's an ugly Mo-Fo
  21. Good press for Ford (3 out of 8 of the crossovers) and EXCELLENT press for Mercury!!!! That new Mariner looks sweet. To bad the first 2 are Toyota and Honda... Biased first impression Nice to see them give props to the new Vue and the Outlook and good press for the Acadia and Enclave as well.
  22. Keep in mind though, the Cadillac renaissance isn't just about sales either.... It has a lot to do with image and buyers age and consideration/respect which, while intangible, still account for a lot of Cadillacs future success. Not to mention, down 2% in 3 quarters isn't much considering the age of most of the products compared to the competition. Of course, the media has been nitpicking and breaking Cadillac down for a few months now... It was the last bastion of "good" at GM and was sure to be attacked.
  23. I think Cadillac might be in a bit of a lull BUT< I think the new Escalade (Which the dickheads in C&D just placed 4th behind the INFINITI QX----Give me a break) and CTS will light things on fire again. Eventhough the DTS *SHOULD* be a Buick, to get rid of it now would be suicide for Cadillac... Let it live a few more years, and sell many more units, then we'll find something to replace it. The STS and SRX (and XLR for that matter) were just to damn tepid. And the new lame ad campaign isn't helping much. Thank you Lutz for making Cadillac marketing LAME AGAIN
  24. I think the article was decent.... Unfortunately, I agree... The new Aveo is nice, but it just didn't go far enough on the mechanical side. Even the marketing has been nonexistant and sh*tty compared to the very innovative, youth oriented marketing of the imports. YES, they are collectively looking at GM's share and saying "Divide and conquer" because YES they do go after different pieces of the MASS MARKET that the Aveo occupies. That's what the more specialized imported brands have done to GM and Ford in general and it's a shame that our companies can't utilize their MANY worthy divisions to fight that off. THEY WILL EAT THE AVEO ALIVE, because media like this (Especially in very liberal minded, youth markets) will be the CATALYST to get it done. That said, I think the Aveo at least has a chance, simply becuase a lot of people will buy it because of appearance and utility/price. But the trendy lot, the import humpers (The people GM needs the most) they'll not be caught dead in it.
  25. Funny... That a nic interior seems to be the deciding factor when the comparable domestic has crappy plastics.... Bias is bias.
