  1. Mustang is also much more existentially central to Ford's identity than Camaro is to GM's. Ford, you think of the F150 and the Mustang. GM, you think of a whole bunch of different products.
  2. Actually fairly affordable to operate also, as far as Ferrari's go.
  3. They have zero interest in passenger cars at this point, or in alternative energy/hybrid systems. Yes, I know the Pacifica has a hybrid, but they follow, they do not lead.
  4. ...well come on in and talk about cars....glad to have you!
  5. Yeah, I love that unashamed bad boy aspect of it...kind of like walking into a bar, finding a guy playing good blue grass fiddle...but you knwo if you swing a punch you will wind up on the floor...that talk softly and carry a big stick vibe goes well with that vehicle. True....interesting to see what else other people come up with here....
  6. That seems about right from some of the things I have heard and read...
  7. It also just has that "look",,,,I think I like the way it looks even more than the Escalade. Heresy I know...
  8. Thanks for the link, I will check that out. I had no idea that any SUV's were offered with differing 4wd systems and choices. I knew Jeep built trail rated, but I thought that was just additional ground clearance and gear ratios.
  9. So few people actually do running conversions that stay in service as regular vehicles that I think a conversion group would be almost irrelevant. I would like to see a more serious discussion into the technical aspects of going from a fossil fuel economy to a renewable fuel economy, actually.
  10. Very common for Alpha type males not to be good husbands...what woman want in romance novels and what they can actually live with on a day to day basis are two entirely different things. I think if they can stay in Business another 5 years they will pretty much have it made, as they will be able to sell a lot of 3's at some point. We are still a good 5 years plus away from when things really start to turn to electric IMHO.
  11. Exactly....I wonder if Olds ever checked out OWWM...I think that could be a model for what this site could become...
  12. I am afraid to drive it as it is just a little bit beyond my price range and I know if I drive it I will want it.
  13. I am very impressed with what GM is doing lately. And yes, If and when I make it out to your side of the country, we will go out for some good wine....I still need to cop a ride in one of your SUV's....not sure which one I want to ride in the most....The Escalade, the SS, or the Suburban. Actually thinking the Trailblazer might be my choice.... But we can go out and paint the town red...err....Dark Cherry....
  14. We could start up an alternative fuels group certainly, I would like that...
  15. I might have to re consider my vote then...
  16. Agreed, although I really like it in red also. I have seen it in that blue and woudl agree.
  17. A Tesla Roadster, and then a futuristic sports hot hatch with a crossover vibe from Ford and GM that would be hybrid or full electric. The Ford Ecosport and the bolt both have a nice vibe to them, I cannot imagine Ford and GM not being able to bring something new and fresh to the market.
  18. Denali all the way for me! Interesting, did not know that.
  19. Ohh absolutely on Buick...how they can get it so much more right than Acura is amazing. Chestnut would be my preferred interior, but I more see you in the Brandy.
  20. I think the segment is dying, I would like to see a future rivalry between modern cars. I love vintage cars as much as anyone, but for me the retro thing has played out.
  21. I like the way you think...!
  22. Jeep Grand Cherokee for me all the way in this segment though... This would echo my thinking...and yes, nothing wrong at all with the current Ford SUV lineup, just not my cup of tea.
  23. Agreed....although I would take the MDX over the explorer...not really down with the Ford, but that is just personal preference.
  24. Sadly a lot of people won't even cross shop...
  25. 5th...hmmm...so many members, so many cars, think hard... DFelt...let's start new...I have always liked the Enclave and it hasn't come up much in the dream car garage...so one more SUV...they are like potato chips, you can always have one more. Vintage...hmmm.... 47 Town and country convertible, He can't complain about head room with this one...
