  1. Indeed....! Although there is a real part of me that would not mind owning an Ecoboost Mustang.
  2. I am so down with that answer....I would choose an Escalade over a Navi any day of the week...
  3. I might give it more like 5 or so...
  4. Exactly...the 2 series is a decent car, not still what I would choose in the segment. If cars could talk, I wonder what it would say in your garage to its cross town rival, the Escalade?
  5. My son owns a rather unique Sc 300, it is a 2000 which is the final year for the car, probably less than 200 made for the Us market, how many remain...neat car!
  6. Your 96 M3 is the sort of thing BMW should be building now, but the world sadly seems to have moved on from building drivers cars.
  7. Astonishing milage from vehicles like that.
  8. Lincoln hands down...I had a neighbor who had a BMW of that era...it was a nightmare in maintenance. I could probably charter a private jet on a regular basis on what that BMW cost to maintain.
  9. Our market seems stuck on bland...even the Miata, which is supposed to be a sporty car, is only available in white, a not terribly exciting maroon, and a dark grey/black that would be too dowdy for a 1946 Plymouth. The Jeep Renegade has some cool colors, drove by the local Chryco dealer the other day and one green one, about 50 in dark grey, black or white. Would be perfect if you were selling jeeps to mimes.... Agree on the high contrast interior.
  10. Very much so...I could respond but it would get very political very fast, and that is not what the board seems to need right now. Something like this...Americans seem afraid of their own shadow any more, might as well be afraid to drive also. We need tog et back to rugged individualism and personal responsibility as part of our national character.
  11. A lot of saturated demand in the pipeline also, and we have had a relatively weak economic recovery.
  12. Variety is the spice of life...easier to change cars than change wives. And after being with mine for 32 years, married for almost 29, I have no desire to trade my wife in. That color grey in that car is a fantastic choice...Gm really got the interior right on that ride also IMHO.
  13. In other news, water is wet,. it gets dark at night, and the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. Nice cars, but yes, they do need to up their game....just like every other player in the luxury market. Not impressed with our current luxury crop.
  14. The Z07 is an astonishing car and in another life (parallel universe) one sits in my garage next to a vintage water cooled 911. Garage is in a 50's style ranch in Palm springs... Living in Ohio and in this universe, please send the Colorado, preferably 4WD. ...for me, a Z07 would have to be black....
  15. Agree completely, very nice choice.
  16. I thought it was a pretty thoughtful choice as well.
  17. Indeed, with CP getting a grey car, Frisky having a couple of grey cars, I am looking at a couple of grey cars...we need to ahve a grey car club here at C and G!
  18. They are a premium product with a high profit margin per unit, one needs to thin k of them a little differently. Me myself I would take a Diesel Colorado or a nice Silveradio diesel over almost anything BMW builds at the moment....well, anything without an M badge anyways.
  19. I dearly love reading. As much as computers are helpful, nothing like a printed book for a deeper perspective. Plus something nice about on the couch with a nice hard cover book... I would have loved to have gotten us all together for a beer, methinks we would gt along better online if we had met in person.
  20. Yes it does...
  21. Knowing that I could buy an updated 4wd system right from the factory makes the idea of a Jeep much more interesting.
  22. Agree on the Safari thing...
  23. Autos are awesome but I still prefer manuals...
