  1. I find the rebirth of Cadillac worth watching though. They have some interesting prducts.
  2. A grand Prix like tht with a swap (V8) from a Monte Carlo SS would be a neat car. Red for OCNblu.... I might still be a little in love with Mustangs.... One of the few Toyotas worth owning.... One for Camino, sometiems the simple cars like this are the best....
  3. No, not good design. I would love to see this restored back to what it was when it left GM.
  4. Didn't walker ahve a very long term girlfriend? Seems like he started dating her when she was 16 and he was 24 or something.
  5. That GMC is sadly also a little to clean to part out, methinks. But it will die anyways.
  6. Very true, I am the worst at playing politics and as such have been screwed out of job openings due to others that played better politics and could kiss ass like a hoover even though they could barely perform in their existing role and ended up getting promoted. Eventually things collapse and the idiots who got ahead will fall hard. I believe what goes around comes around and eventually the morons will loose who abused the system. it's called the Peter Princial, everyone is promoted to the level where they are alas no longer competent. With such an amazing country to see, why would you want people to drive less? This is cast system thinking of keep people in their place. Politicians from either party are idiots as they only think of themselves and never truly work for the people. Term limits and accountability need to be instilled into our gov again. the economy is Michigan is shot, there is no money left to fix things. It's what you get when you outsource everything to China and try to live life at the bare minumum of effort needed. And those comments are directed towards our society as a whole, not just Michigan.
  7. Methinks that the transformation of GM corporate Policy is not over yet, and the new president will ahve some issues on her hands to deal with.
  8. There is a good book called Generation Broke that talks about how bad your gneration really has it. I now work for a private Unviersity, often a degree in a relevant field still leaves people unemployed or working at Subway. Our society sucks for anyone trying toa ctually work and make a living.
  9. Taht was always a great Era of Ford Truck. I saw a 56 Ford not that long ago, someones running project, looked solid and like they were making progres.
  10. Interesting....they built one heck of a small car in the Neon R and T and ACR, and also the older 67-69 Barracuda was a neat smaller performance car. the 2.2 Liter turbo cars of the eighties could be really quick, and were neat cars for their day. As much as I ahve given a total ration of crap to the Mopar/Nopower boys here at C and G, I would love to see them come out with some other smaller performance cars. Given some of the cool Quirky stuff they ahve brought out in the past, I am sure they could do it, especially with the Alfa links in europe. Chris
  11. Riiiight.......and the Fast and Furious movies promoted lawful operation of vehicles within all known traffic laws with no vehicle in the movie ever exceeding 55 MPH either....
  12. Considering right now the Germans are beating the Japanese in the Luxury car market, perhaps it is infinity and Lexus that need to reidentify and remake themselves.
  13. They look better in person now that I am a little more used to them.
  14. They always looked good in Blue I thought.
  15. With a small car it's all in the skill of the driver. Methinks C and G has it covered with OCN.
  16. Lustworthy....although I have a question...was the 455 HO ever built as a convertible, or are those clones?
  17. i always did like the look of those. A nice CJ 7 raised on 33" Tires, looked great....
  18. Very true....! Well, it is black and Does run on Rattle juice....
  19. Sweet! For a guy like me who loves sports cars, seeing the renewal and rebirth of the sorts car is awesome!
  20. Reality is challenging at times.... The Chinese want to move into the future with clean energy. We should follow their example.
  21. 1982 CJ8 Scrambler - $9500 (Orlando) condition: good 1982 Jeep CJ8 manual transmission title : clean 1982 Jeep Scrambler. If you are looking for a short description of the beast pictured here, I can offer you two words "MEAT & POTATOES". This is the All American chariot of the free world. This is no ordinary cookie cutter Jeep. This thing was forged from a single block of Tungsten Steel. I wasn't looking for a rice burning hatch back, a solar powered liberal mobile, or even a Hyundai crossover, this beast is a piece of red white and blue Americana Machinery. This baby's pulse is pumping uncensored raw fuel through her 4.2 liter straight six nuclear power plant. This is no metro feminine automatic, it has a 5 speed manual shift and no AC. If you want to blow the sweat off your brow you do it the old fashioned way: doors off and top down. "What if it rains?" I don't care about rain, not even skin melting acid rain. This isn't the kind of Jeep that has to be parked in the garage, so the "carpet doesn't get wet and soggy" This thing has drain holes in the floor and rhino lining to let the blood drain out from the buffalo I just killed with my bare hands. This is a ride suited for William Wallace and when it gets dirty, you can leave your "sissy sponge glove car wash kit" in the pink bucket it came in. If need be, I'll spark up a 6000 psi heated pressure washer on the dually trailer from my man cave, cause I can pressure wash this truck on the inside or outside. She's even got roll cage in case that buffalo comes back to life while I'm doing 80 over some mountain pass or flooded river. And forget about putting one of those "It's a Jeep Thing. . .You wouldn't understand" stickers on this machine cause when I'm spotted in this American Classic there will be no questions, no further explanation required, people will understand and get out of my way. . . . .real quick. So get ready for some changes, cause this will be happening. What will be happening? Glad you asked. . .. 1. More chest hair. 2. Grow a beard. 3. Meat only diet. 4. T-Rex for an indoor pet. 5. Fianlly taking a job at the lumber mill. 6. A Jeep that carries five kegs. 8. Catch more fish. 9. Wire bristled toothbrush. 10. All male offspring. 11. Chiseled jaw line. 12. Not giving a damn. 13. Counting to infinity 14. Chuck Norris. 15. Building stuff out of stone, with your bare hands. 16. Riding a grizzly bear through a car wash 17. Bar fights. 18. Ron Burgandy pool party And that's gonna be on a slow Tuesday. Other particulars: 35 inch tires, lifted really damn high, brand new full soft top, original half soft top, original soft doors, original seats in great shape, a little rust in the floor board (see pic), mechanically sound and I'll be happy to talk to you about the things I planned to do this spring on it. Economy took it's toll, lost my job 4 months ago and haven't found anything yet, my loss is your gain. do NOT contact me with unsolicited services or offers post id: 4389533696 posted: 2 months agoupdated: 19 days agoemail to friend ♥ best of [?] Avoid scams, deal locally Beware wiring (e.g. Western Union), cashier checks, money orders, shipping.
  22. Nothing will help them at this point. Their corssover ahs sup par reliability, the novelty is wearing off of the brand, and their dealer network is not what it needs to be. I see them folding within the next five or ten years in terms of North American Sales. As they should....
