  1. Keep us posted, at thirty three grand it seems real pricey for what you get....
  2. Do you mean the back seat is large or small? Is it a DSG or an automatic...DSG, right? Fuel economy? I am assuming not good...maybe 22-23 overall? Impressions of interior quality and quality of dashboard controls? Is this a car you could see yourself buying?
  3. http://www.philly.com/philly/news/br...All=y#comments It's not often that Philadelphia police are called to jump-start a stolen auto case. Especially one four decades old. But thanks to their efforts, a Texas man has recovered a treasured convertible stolen in Philadelphia nearly 42 years ago. Bob Russell never gave up hope that his stolen 1967 Austin Healey would be found one day. Russell was a graduate student at Temple University in 1970 when he parked the English roadster at an apartment complex after a date with his future wife. When he went out to the lot the next morning, the Austin was gone. Because he was a cash-strapped student, it was a double whammy. He had liability, but no theft insurance. Read the whole article, its a darn good story!
  4. Not teach your children how to park, for one.... Maria Shriver has taught her daughter Katherine Schwarzenegger everything she knows ... about getting parking tickets. Arnold Schwarzenegger's estranged wife -- who is no stranger to parking infractions -- and her 22-year-old offspring drove separate SUVs to the same medical building in Brentwood this weekend, and upon leaving found matching mother/daughter parking tickets on their windshields. Maria and Katherine have started another Kennedy legacy. http://http://www.tmz.com/2012/07/09...rking-tickets/
  5. Oh, and if we could leave the obscenity out of the podcast, it would help when I am listening to this with young children around. Not complainin, just sayin....
  6. You know THAT car is getting rebuilt... they need a continuation series on these cars, as its one of the coolest cars ever uilt. They would say that it would reduce the value of the originals, but I don't think so. Have the values on vintage Camaros and Mustangs gone down now that we have dynacorn bodies?
  7. I would also...and An Alfa Romeo sounds good....
  8. Argue with an Idiot....
  9. I'm glad we agree on this!
  10. It really probably did...one of my fav. Railroad paint schemes of all time. Wish I had a time machine and could take a trip west with the Santa Fe
  11. It's a very different driving experience...but I like the Roadmaster as well. Now if I could get some of that sexy 1960's Buick styling with modern GM powertrain...heck yeah....
  12. Now that I think about it, I think I saw this very car race at the Vintage races at Mid Ohio a few years ago...I could be wrong though...
  13. I really hate the current Civic SI, they really cheapened the car and it doesn't even feel like a sports car. S2K is fun as a track/autocross car, leaves a lot to be desired as a daily driver imho.
  14. Amazing truck, but I would be afraid to drive it. some black primer, a mexican blanket, and a chebbie tree fity under de hood and I would be all rite with dat... Oh, and by the way, owning a vintage pick em up truck is high on my bucket list of things I want to do before I die. I pretty much consider every post here that is vintage GM truck related to be a personal favor....
  15. Your car looks a lot like my Miata underneath, and yes I plan to clean that up and paint it as well. Ohio is rough on cars... Glad your car is holding up so well...
  16. Or it may not fit their lifestyle or needs... I like the program, and wish GM well with it.
  17. Camino...yes...that would qualify... And I would be dumb enough to drop out of school, drop in a 409, and go racing.....
  18. Agreed, Ohio is looking like Arizona I am afraid!
  19. I don't know...but I am seeing the auto market hat up with incentives and so forth... Hopefully car makers don't get into an incentive war, and cut profits to the point where they are in the red again. However, yeah...I could totally see taking advantage of this for a new Chevy...I jut couldn't see returning the Chevrolet...
  20. Thanks Balthazar, for the link to the Hamb...I think I just blew my evening into midnight....
  21. I'd like to see the twin car, the one the city of Tulsa also bought, that's still nice.
  22. We'll be thinkin of ya... Next SCCA event, I'll do a wild spin or a wild burnout in your honor...
  23. Impressive start, and for twelve hundred dollars...I would still rather have a half ton truck...and buy one with a bed... However, at twelve hundred, its tempting....very tempting...
