Rumorpile: C7 Getting A Seven Speed Manual?
Actually, having just the right gear on a road course or in an autocross is sweet.... Do you really think I'd trade a slick shifting 5 or 6 speed in a Vette, Miata, S2000, WRX STI, 911, or whatever....for an old fashioned three speed? Seriously...are you stoned? If past vettes are any comparison, I'd take the manual over the autotrajic... But automatics have their place. Calloway sells lots of supercharged automatic Vettes to people who don't want to row their own but want the power of a ZO6...

Mini Lineup To Grow
Let's see how much we can dilute the original marketing concept trying to be cute. God, sometimes I think Balthazar is right, a return to the late 1950's and 1960's is long overdue!

For Roger...
Car driven by minor character in book is 59 Impala IIRC...yes it's a fury for the main character... Fury would be an awesome car to have in the correct white and Gold Scheme....IIRC they repainted the white and gold cars in the assembly line scne red to wreck later in the movie. When was the last time anyone saw a 58 fury...been awhile for me...

The Buick pic is fantastic...and yes the Camino needs to be two tone when it is done. It just needs to be... rough version of the Camino in about that color scheme lives in a garage down by Circleville...I see it every now and then. Can't wait for that ruck to get done....

For Roger...
Cars from the 1958-1960 Era are perfect for Slasher films...in the Book Christine, not the movie, bad guy drives a 59 Chevy IIRC....

How Much For That Buick Verano In The Window?
There was a good Skylark? I have been in a 61 many times and it was not that great of a car. the era of the Skylark was 65-72. Mostly 65-67 and 70-72. It was a nicer Chevelle. Special / Skylark pulled Buick out of the sales fire in '61 and after. Buick was #3 in '55, #9 in '60 and back up to #5 by '65. These Skylarks were Buicks, not 'nicer Chevelles'. Or were Chevelles 'crappier Skylarks'? Not everything General Motors has done can be distilled into tweaks on Chevrolets. Bingo...and I wish we were back in the 1960's, with distinct brands and identities...lots of the time....

Soooo... you're saying that this car more or less deserves the name? Because it'll likely blow the competition's doors off in terms of exceptional handling, and gorgeous styling. Agree with DF, Mopar has game and they are a bringin it! Agreed...the late sixties Darts were among the best looking of the cars of the Era IMHO...- Automotive paint schemes you like...
When I was in high school I went to church with a guy who had a 70 Road Runner 44o six pack...we had a lot of fun with that car...it was plum Crazy purple. I could have bought it for tyhree grand in 1984, in really decent shape. I'd hate to think of what that thing would be worth today.- Automotive paint schemes you like...

Focus and Fiesta are doing very well for themselves also, as is the Fusion. Ford sadly had no choice but to axe the old Crown vic due to safety regs...stilll I really like the GM Canyon and Colorado....and am thinking one as a used vehicle at some point might make sense. Be interesting to see the new one in the flesh.- This Monday ...
Like I said 67...wish I could help. I'm here in Ohio...if there is ANYTHING you need help with...shout out...- Automotive paint schemes you like...
