  1. It will out tow and out haul your Duramax diesel, silly...
  2. Tie two G-3's together, have the first four wheel drive eight wheeled G6 (G3 plus G3 = G6)...it would be a one of one eight cylinder Pontiac... Just think of how successful This was...and we know Cubical loves F1...just think of how jealous he will be... ...and you can have two stereo's...one for you and one for Arkus... What's to loose? You could even build a one of one G6 Sport struck to go with your coming G8 Sport truck... Thinking car = 4 wheels is just too far inside the box...
  3. More good advice that will go in the crap can....
  4. BINGO! It was how I wound up with my $3200 Chrysler Concorde...one of the best cars I owned....I drove it another 100,000 very tough miles and sold it for $300.... Chris
  5. My thoughts-Astro cargo van...still a great work truck, unbreakable, other than idler arms...they never need much. How about a V6 Mustang or Firebird....? Mustang would be easier to repair....parts are cheaper...RWD....very affordable in the 1999-2004 body style...you can find them...pretty much everywhere....
  6. My additional thoughts- More "pure versions of a few of my fav. cars. the third gen Miata is a little heavy and not quite as nimble, the MINI became a little bit uglier and more awkward, and the C6 is a fabulous car, but the C5, esp. the C5 ZO6, is a little more user friendlily and a little bit more Unique in the Z06 package as a C5 car....the titanium muffler and other good stuff Gm dropped for the C6 Z06...
  7. You guys are going to kill me but... Chevrolet Astro cargo van...they are the cat's ass as a work vehicle, decent fuel economy, can tow, can haul, impossible to destroy without explosives and a cliff to push them off of... They hold their resale well... Mazda RX-8, just for it's uniqueness... S2000 The older Ford focus, with the SVT variant...a very decent small car... Mercury Maruader....didn't sell well, but unique RWD vehicle....
  8. Riiighhhttt......just like the Miata is...inefficient.... That being said, such a car as RWD would not go over well....as in winter climates, the people that would be a large part of the demographic wouldn't like them....
  9. Slightly lower fuel prices maybe...?
  10. Wow...up eighty five percent...
  11. Sad that with such a less than stellar product lineup they still do so well...
  12. Awesome!
  13. Let us know how things work out...I am headed out to the garage to build a work bench myself...
  14. Given the current brain dead operations of both major parties and their inability to fix issues...why don't we settle for some unemployment, let in a bunch of Hispanics who want to work, and see what happens?
  15. I'm pretty much against putting any of it on security lock down. I think that every time these subhuman asswipes pull an op, they loose a lot of sympathy both inside and outside of the Muslim world.
  16. Much as I hate to admit it, it is infinitely easier for terrorists to strike a train than a plane...
  17. Two words...Ford Focus...fantastic reliability, made by an American company, decent suspension, drives well, excellent fuel economy, available on every street corner...fairly priced.
  18. Agreed on the Cruze and Accord!
  19. Congrats on the ride...
  20. Just don't let him near a 55 Nomad with a crane...
  21. Boys, I think this pretty much says it all...and then some. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOLJkoyb3s4&feature=grec_index Check out the cool coral and grey 55 Chevrolet that makes a Cameo appearance in the back ground...
  22. THAT is the car that got away from me... I had a guy offer to trade me even up...a red, 390-4 speed 66 cyclone GT ragtop, white interior, pace car clone, for my 66 Mustang fastback about ten years ago. THAT was a cool car... ...and I've always thought the 75 Buick turbo was a cool pace car... I remember seeing a clone of that one at a car show a few years ago.
  23. I'm glad to see people getting creative with their protests.
  24. Good things come to those that wait...you have the green vette... patience my son, patience...
