  1. Best of all possible outcomes IMHO. Are you OKAY or are you still stiff? Chris
  2. Looking forward to the next gen myself. I think the Astra was a real step above the Focus, esp. in ride driving qualities. Ford has done a great job with the exterior paint finish from what I can tell. A whole world better than the crappy Sentra we had as a rental a few weeks back. Chris
  3. Glad to know someone else needs help in the landscaping department...after working all day, it's hard to get motivated to weed and clean. Also, be interested to see what the car looks like with a tint and a detail. Chris
  4. I like the whole Vinnegar and Oil thing, or really good blue cheese. Chris
  5. Can't stand it! Ughhhhh....
  6. Saw a beautiful black 64 El Camino, a Red 70ish Trans Am that was pristine, a really nice 70 Z28 in Daytona Yellow, two really cool early 70's B body Buicks...a blue 4 door that looked like it had just driven off of the showroom floor and a neat old green wagon with woodgrain sides and patina...
  7. I saw one when I was in Kentucky. It does look good in that color. Chris
  8. I've used Macs since the Internet began with no antivirus software. I've never had a Virus that I know of. Good to know you've come over to the dark side. Apple products are great...but pricey... Chris
  9. Swung by the local Mitsubishi dealer on my way to pick up something for work. Out back in the clunker line...a really nice ZR2 S-10 Four wheel drive. Granted, 95% of the stuff they are taking in is more or less junk... I don't think the world will miss the tired explorers, Astrovans, F150's, et al. But the nice Jeep Wrangler Sahara I saw alsmost made me ill. Chris
  10. I work hard phsyically and a good beer or wine will really relax me. I would second the alcohol thing. Chris
  11. I would push them to total it. When my mothers car was wrecked she lobbied the insurance company to total it and they did. Once something is hurt to a certain point, your better off just replacing it. Your beautiful truck served you well, now it can be parts to keep another Chev. or GMC on the road. Good luck and keep us posted dude! Chris
  12. Roger...the good and the bad....I love the car. But your landscaping looks better than mine. When you washed and waxed the G6 so nice and clean I realized what a pig my wife's car was, so I spent all day waxing and cleaning my wife's car, after a nice clay bar treatment. Now I'm going to have to spend Saturday weeding and cleaning... At least if my Miata breaks down you'll be able to haul it in your trunk. Unless you'd rather haul it in the ashtray... Seriously dude...nice car. I've seen 2 or three like it in Navy and one in White. Enjoy!
  13. Glad to have your +1 and your comments. Chris
  14. Maybe if you get stung on the nuts your eye won't seem to hurt so bad? Seriously, I hate any eye injury. A few years ago I got a piece of fibergalss insulation in my eye on a construction site. Ended up in the emergency room...they said if I ahd waited another 3-4 hours to come in I would have lost vision in that eye. Very scary when it happens to your eyes. Chris
  15. 24 is a dead minumum for me...84 Oz. will usually be running through me by about nine thirty... Chris
  16. It wasn't so bad that I grew breasts when I drank it...but it tasted like $h!. Just wish guys would stop staring at my chest... Chris
  17. Nice looking car, though... Chris
  18. That's almost as bad as two friends of mine from high school. they were waiting to ahve sex until they got married...it was going to be a "white wedding night" so to speak. Guy is wearing shorts and gets stung by a bee on the nuts...while on the way to the hotel... privates swell up and they have to wait like two or three more weeks. They had been dating for about 3 years. She was also VERY unhappy about that turn of events! Sorry to hear about the bites! Chris
  19. Agrreed GM4life, GM is getting some great product in the pipeline. When and IF the economy does come back, they should find some buyers waiting with checkbook in hand... Chris
  20. Think Cmisaca was talking about the 2010 Camaro with the 3.6 perhaps. But the older cars sounded good also...Pam, a friend of mine from the Miata club, has a brother with an older V6 Camaro, 97 I think. Those can be made to sound good also. But the 2010 flavor is the object of my lust right now.
  21. Actually they shouldn't be. Halloween is just around the corner...what could be a better horror than a new Acura with its Jack O Lanturn smile? Chris
  22. This whole cash for clunkers thing...is going to get out of hand in a court of law. One local Hyundai Dealer, (Dennis Hyundai of Dublin) is owed a million and a half bucks by uncle sam. Ricart Ford must have 500 cars behind it's dealership, and I'm not making this up. They are one of the largest Ford Dealers in nation and they have a Mitsu store, a Hyundai store, a Mazda store, a Kia store, and a Nissan Store on site too boot. Bad thing is, in that 400-500 clunkers I spotted a 4th gen LT1 Firebird in Navy Blue. OUCH!
  23. I had my convertible top down and was following a V6 3.6L Camaro through traffic....NICE exhaust note.... Chris
  24. Puketastic is the local shop that just buit a very similar car out of a very clean 71 cutty...
  25. ...and given the horrible styling of the Acura lineup its no wonder they are down 2000 units and 30+ percent. Maybe we'll get lucky and Acura will go the way of Pontiac, Packard, and Peerless. Chris
