  1. Or a Mazda 3 for that matter. Chris
  2. The important thing to me-around here guys on construction sites and farms still laugh their ass off at the Tundra. Chris
  3. ...and Sixty Eight, you'd really buy a BENZ? I've known so many of those cars to have problems...and I'd rather crush and Audi than drive one. I probably hate a lot of European cars as badly as you hate Japanese cars. Maybe we can just agree to hate Korean cars and agree on that. I am with you on the BMW thing though. Were it to be a non-GM car, my choice would be a New Cooper S coup with a six speed and a sunroof delete. If it were not a Miata. Chris
  4. It would be a Solstice GXP. Seriously. Chris
  5. The problem is that there is no good objective journalism out there when it comes to evaluating vehicles. I trust Grassroots Motorsports somewhat as well as Road and Track to an extent, but the rest of those arch idiots...no. Chris
  6. Actually I would prefer blue, white or black to red. But it is sharp in red. Chris
  7. ...always and forever on the jack up the price thing... Chris
  8. Must be the newest Scion xB that also made the list as the previous gen didn't have side air bags. Looking forward to the Astra doing big things here in the states. Chris
  9. Actually the Bonnie and the Olds ought to be pretty good on the highway. Chris
  10. Exactly. Which is where it needs to be priced for a premium small car. With a few grand down and good credit it is only about 300 per mo in payment. Chris
  11. The focus does have its share of problems, but the SVT of a few years ago was kind of a cool car. The Astra is a nice car. I will look at one seriously next year when it is time to replace my wife's car. Hopefully your right and it is a sales success. Chris
  12. Every so often a really honest person running for office comes out...and then gets 10% of the vote. Somebody please tell me why we are in Iraq. Chris
  13. I can relate on the lost American heritage part... Chris
  14. Surely an aurora has rolled more miles than that. I've seen tons of cars make it to 300,000 and a bunch make it to 400,000. I've seen a dodge van make it to 600,000 a Chevy Blazer (s-10 4wd) make it to 600,000 plus, a ford Truck make it to 785,000, another ford truck make it a Million...all without rebuilds. I am a construction worker and we usually buy older beat up cars to drive to work because we park them on jobsites. GM products with 300k plus are as common as teenaged girls at shopping malls. Chris
  15. Actually, everything was off in July from furniture to real estate from what I can tell. Still, the TURD is doing poorly for a "new truck" Chris
  16. Actually I've known crapaliers to do better than that. My friend Matt Drove his like an absolute ASS from hell and got over 30 once in awhile. Chris
  17. Chevrolet-Cobalt SS Supercharged (or turbocharged if they build it) HHR Pontiac-Solstice Saturn- Sky RL Cadillac-CTS, CTS-V Thats about all folks. Maybe the Astra. Chris
  18. Great point. Actually I would not trust a Chinese made gun not to blow up in my hand. Chris
  19. Dodgefan, the fuel economy you are getting is horrible! My Scion xB is getting 35.5-36 m.p.g. right now, and my 86 Cavalier got over 40 on the highway. Sixty-Eight must have dropped a V-16 in that thing when you weren't looking... Or Flybrian dropped in the 455 from the Lesabre. Chris
  20. ...even by 1956 Standards the Caliber is cheap. Probably one of the worst small vehicles on the road today. Chris
  21. Exactly. I have seen very little advert. support for the HHR, which is sad because it is a neat little vehicle. Chris
  22. Ditto on the green thing, although Sante Fe N.M. would be a cool place to live. Salt lake City Utah would be cool also but as an atheist/agnostic I doubt I would fit in with the Mormons. Chris
