  3. No Mazda will ever live to the ripe old age of those classics, let alone be loved to the degree of any of them. :AH-HA_wink:
  4. What do you kids think of the Nitro? Seen one in person yet?
  5. balls
  6. One sec, my bestest friend is here with me. *hug* OK, back. Ew, are those Cheerios?
  7. Damn. My price for the Mustang GT: an unbelievably low $24,900. My insurance would go up (according to my agent) only $125 over 6 months. This is on the verge of doable. Heart, head, heart, head... who should I listen to?
  8. In pictures, I was underwhelmed and agreed it looks like an ION. In person, it give me happy feeling. It should be call Nissan Bluebird in America, because it give me happy feeling when I looking at it. :AH-HA_wink: No but seriously, it grew on me pretty quickly after looking at it in the flesh and walking around it. Very modern, as I said in the Car Spotting thread. Much more car than the ION (and it should be, it is priced accordingly). Yes, CVTs are crap, but if the trade-off is a six speed manual, I'll take it. If this Nissan has any DNA left from the sweet little original 510 or the sexy 3 fitty Z, it will do well. The Versa interior is very attractive, but the exterior I just do not care for. The Sentra has the same MPG ratings afaik as the Versa, yet it is much more car.
  9. Well dammit, I couldn't watch the video, but I could meet any number of hot chicks right here in my backyard, dadgummit!
  10. Looks like it. You're right, AllenK, I prefer the clean lines of the car unadorned (except maybe for bodyside moldings, people tend to ram their doors into nice cars just for spite.) My accessorized G6 would be something mean, yet a bit subtle. A tasteful Ram Air hood, darkened head and taillights, lowered suspension, and quad, diagonal-cut exhaust tips. The Ultra-Bright factory 18" rims look tough, and perfectly match the car. The Mustang was a nice dream. This morning I have to awake from it and return the car. No way I can afford one of these, even with employee discount. The car will go to Manheim Auto Auction, this week I believe. No harm done, Ford's done a great job perpetuating the legend, it's been a good experience.
  11. walk off, child
  12. These are the kinds of superfun tests that even the most "metro" guys love to see. Listen to the crowd react. Cool! Hopefully, though, people won't be playing tug of war at home. Too often. Proof that Chevy understands that the only difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.
  13. Is Steve Irwin still alive, hiding out somewhere? If this were to happen, the Corvette name and the crossed flags emblem should be kept off the car.

  17. Funny thread, everyone. I did this: LOL.
  18. Roger that! Have fun, dude!
  19. Yeahhhh... kinda like LaSalle did for Cadillac! Oh, wait... :AH-HA_wink:
  20. What the heck? Mr. Jacket... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SIR!

  22. "Where is ocn? He's frickin' always here, every night. Shall I call in an APB?" NO! Dudes, I gotta tell ya... I've been out joyriding in a 2006 Mustang GT all evening. Just got home a few minutes ago. O...M...G... that car is absolutely intoxicating. I love it. The owner of my workplace bought it new, had a chip upgrade, intake and exhaust work done, drove it 5300 miles, then stuck it on our used car lot. I went to him this afternoon and asked him if we could get a Ford (not thinking of his car), and if Mustang GTs are available with an employee discount. He said no, and yes, but he could "set me up" if I want one. Then he said "Take mine home! I'll tell the used car manager it's ok!" I said "Well, I love your car, but it's an automatic, I'd rather have a 5 speed." He said "You take it home, I guarantee you'll love it." He was right, dagnabit. Sigh...
