  1. Oh it "harasses" the Camaro legend alright. And it will soon be forgotten, gathering cobwebs in a corner, or better yet... crushed.
  2. Too stupid for you? ewCOPO. Lame to the nth degree.
  3. To save precious lectricity. Real safe.
  4. LOL I just got home from visiting Dad... it is dark out. Sawr a Nissan Leaf driving with no lights on... too far from home perhaps? #electriccarlife
  5. Ford already paid homage to one of their classics, look at this 1950 F-1 and this Expedition: The heavy bar grille, the way the headlight nacelles do a double curve down to meet the bottom of the grille, it is clear what they did here.
  6. This is what I see when I look at the new truck: How the fender drops toward the bumper, the bumper itself drops at the ends, the general lighting and grille theme, it is just a modern interpretation of the '99.
  7. An Evo version with manual would definitely help them stand out and trade on their enthusiast heritage a bit.
  8. That modern Bullit commercial is pretty cool.
  9. Well they say a person shouldn't sit too much. You've seen those cool standing desks? Some of them have stools for your knees. I wish I had one @ work.
  10. You went to New York to look at tiny houses/backyard sheds? Nice ol Caddy.
  11. Demented dream: I was on the shoulder of a suburban four lane highway, riding a simple metal stool with a padded seat, on little plastic wheels of course. Motive power came from me, gyroscopically leaning in a forward direction (it is how I "fly" in my dreams too, with an inner gyroscope, not an outward spin). I am perched on it on my knees. I remember two of the vehicles that passed, a giant 10 wheeled truck (I felt the breeze) and a carload of thugs in a spider-eye, hooptified Integra. A nice lady who lived along the road came out and gave me a gift in a plastic bag. I accepted it, but then as I went I was thinking I did not want to carry it and I was looking to toss the bag in high weeds (so she wouldn't see it and feel insulted) along a creek that went under the road. I remember thinking I was heading toward a car dealer row, I was heading out on my stool to look at new trucks. Does the stool represent my Compass? What direction am I going with this?
  12. Looks rather Professional Grade to me.
  13. I asked a co-worker, who owns a 2017 Krypton Green 2LT 3.6 with stick, what he thought. He said NOT
  14. $2995 is a lot.
  15. Looks good, but those are the 22" accessory rims... not cheap, am I right?
  16. I know, the 17's do look rather small now that we're all used to giant rims. And a co-worker just bought new tires for his '08 Ram with 20's (thanks Dodge for starting this expensive, 20 inch wheel trend in pickups, grrr...) and they were only $144/tire, Hankook all terrains of some sort or another, and they look good. So maybe a 20" rim is not necessarily a super expensive solution anymore.
  17. LOL, what a great idea, Chevy. NOT
  18. Well I've had 3 fullsizers. '89 Silverado 305/5 speed stick, regular cab longbed 4X4. '02 4.8/auto 2WD, shortie reg cab, and '07 Sierra SLE 5.3/auto shortie reg cab. Dad and bro have both parked their '03 and '04 Silvies outside of their garages since new, and their paint jobs are fine. Rusty at the rockers though, normal for that age and geo location.
  19. Here's a Custom. The new Custom is much nicer than the old bodystyle with the cheap plastic chrome clad wheels, for a wider appeal on the new truck.
  20. WT with 5.3L, Convenience Package, Chrome Package, Trailering, G80 locker 3.42 rear end, spray-in liner, and side steps. The black vinyl interior with rubber floors would be easy to clean, and if the vinyl is anything like my TDi Beetle it would be great.
  21. Tell me the truth. Is this an "old man" truck? I am 54 now, I need to know if I'm going quietly in the night. $41,970. It looks good to me. Typical Chevy, missing the left front wheel center cap. LOL.
  22. LOL I shouldn't say this but although I gave my mother a down payment to lease a Kia Forte, she still mentions... every time I am with her on the road... the Kia Soul and the new... wait for it... Nissan "Chinx". I told her it is called Kicks, but she keeps forgetting. She likes weird cars, what can I say. Although the Kicks seems cheerful and kitted well for the price point.
