  1. There there *pats head* Kleenex?
  2. He will win reelection. California is simply showing themselves to be what they are. Will be interesting to see how a long-needed parent eventually defuses the petulant child that is... California.
  3. Not sure how dropping the manual will play with Jeep customers. It does not please this one. The torque number is admirable for the little motor. Maybe this engine will go into the 2019 Compass as well. I see Renegades all over the place and considered one before I ordered my Compass, but now I realize I wouldn't want anything smaller than what I've got. On to bigger and better things I spose.
  4. I guess I'll start this month off. 1977 Caprice Classic sedan in light green, perfect condition, driven in traffic yesterday. I remember how excited I was in the autumn of 1976, (I was 12 years old and a complete car FREAK) to see the brand new, smaller and very good looking GM B, C and D-bodies hit the streets. First one I saw on the road back then... was a yellow Electra 225 with tan vinyl top. I think I freaked my grandparents out with my hoops and hollers that day.
  5. Hi I hope your birthdays were spent well
  6. ? Ohhhh... I can jump!
  7. Maybe this will hasten Tesla's demise.
  8. Precisely. Cadillac is following. Not leading.
  9. Why is everyone feeling the need to court young people? If we are lucky, young people become older, and as we age we accumulate money if we're careful... enough to treat ourselves to a Cadillac, perhaps. I totally agree with those that say chasing BMW and Mercedes has been a recipe for failure. It is Cadillac following, not leading. Trying to not be Cadillac. A forfeiture of greatness, a disowning of one's own greatest history. The V8 CT6 is a glimmer of hope. I just wish it had a real name... something to remember. Turbo 4 CT6 is a disastrous idea. STUPID. The XT4... I hope it catches on. Of course being an insignificant bystander, I would make some changes to it. I think Cadillac should adhere to RWD/AWD chassis only. I think strong, silent V8 power is sorely missed. Escalade's staying power should be a clue to Cadillac management of what Cadillac should strive to be across the entire line. Brash, bold, unashamedly AMERICAN. BIG AND STRONG.
  10. You're lucky my printer ran out of red ink after my downvote spree in here last night, or there would have been a fresh one assigned to the above post.
  11. So cool! I like the Sunlit Bronze and Kinetic Blue, although I found GM's CGI representations of their colors can be pretty far off reality. The Graphite, for example, looks way bluer in the CGI than in realtime.
  12. WOW who wouldn't???
  13. Exactly. There is no strength in the electric car market. Demand is not deep enough. You are hearing it from Audi, a component of one of, if not THE biggest automotive conglomerate on Earth.
  14. Yup, appears to be an early Chrysler 200/aka reskinned Sebring.
  15. I regularly judge this twit for other things. Weed is not one.
  16. Right, an electric minivan is a sure way to commit brand suicide, however.
  17. I like how they integrated the parking sensors around the perimeter of the woodgrain panels. A beauty!
  18. Base Price $37,406 $39,500 Destination $1,495 $1,495 Total Base Price $38,901 $40,995 Options (change) Engine, 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 $1,269 $1,395 Chevytec Spray-On Bedliner, Black With Chevrolet Logo $450 $495 Price with Options $40,620 $42,885 - 2019 Silverado Custom Trail Boss
  19. What option package is that on the Escape, with the onboard bathroom?
  20. Indeed, a shiny red rocket
  21. Stopped in to the local Cadillac dealer today. Sad sight, if only for the fact the lot is so yuge and their inventory seems paltry in comparison. No XT4s on the lot. Plenty of XT5s though, and up close they are really nice vehicles. The CT6 is an imposing dreadnought as it should be. They had a blue ATS-V coupe with a million dollar discount tag hanging from the inside meer. Still can't afford it.
  22. Hmmm... I took a sip of the Kool-Aid when the rear seat legroom CGI was shown and we sawr the published measurements. In realtime photos it looks rather tiny back there. Also the interior... BLACK MUCH?
