Wow, talk about wandering off topic and into irrelevant territory... this thread is lost in the woods I don't need nannies. I can drive, thanks. Don't give a hoot about automatic braking and all the other crap. I am interested in hardware that delivers. My problem with the Blazer is that RS < ST for the price. Big time. Once Build & Price is up, I am going to spec a 2LT with AWD, V6 and big black wheels to see if it suits. RS is and has always been a trim package at Chevy... only meaningful thing RS and Premiere offer is the better AWD system, as far as I can tell with prelim specs.

I don't think I want any more cars in my considerable, serial "collection". Crossovers, SUVs or pickup trucks are where it's at.

I do love a good "Bros Before Hos" sticker on the back glass of a Duramax... ?

How cool would a swoopy Cruze 2-door hatch (with the silhouette of the sedan, not the relatively frumpy 5-door) SS be with the 2.0t? Given recent market trends... maybe a new bodystyle Trax SS with 2.0t and six speed manuel, por favor?

auto depreciation Top 10 and Bottom 10 - 5 year Depreciation on Autos

Without the tax credit... sales would be even more pathetic. When you have to bribe someone, and make the public at large pay the bribe, it becomes sticky. -
Blazer prices? Well, that escalated quickly...

Seems nobody wants new... or used... electrics. But authentic, purposeful, useful under any conditions vehicles retain more of their value. Whoda thunkit, eh? -
It makes perfect sense. You can still buy a Bolt if you want one. Seems the shallow demand is already drying up for the friendliest electric car on the market, so maybe you can get a real good deal.

Odd I was camped at the Chevy dealer yesterday studying the '19 Silverado for natural paint break lines for two-tone schemes.

That is a Benz CLA, right? The one that brings to mind a Dart SXT?

Spotless black Rolls-Royce Phantom in the approaching lane on a country highway. Delaware plates. Shocking to see this on way to visit mom.

YEAH, good things (as well as dynamite!) come in small packages

You can go here if you are tired of waiting on Chevy's "build and price" to show up on their site: https://www.gmsupplierdiscount.com/build-and-price/

Is the irony lost on you how stupid this is?

Me too. It was 1971, IIRC.

It's like an airship. Giant but lightweight. I am waiting impatiently to see driving impressions of the 4.3 in the new truck. I am just not feeling the turbo 4 unless it were in the Colorado/Canyon, and even then I do not see but maybe one or two MPG more EPA rating in the smaller truck.

I thought Volvo engineers invented the seatbelt? I do not remember.
